Yennefer

Eskel decided to go find her home even though she warned him not to go. They needed answers, and she was doing her best to keep them from Geralt. It had been a week since that day. Geralt had to admit he was attached to her now. She was the complete opposite of him, and even though he hated to admit it. He needed her just as much as she needed him. Jaskier noticed that sometimes he would actually smile while Stella wasn't looking his direction when she would ask a question.

How he would look at her as she helped complete strangers for no reason then just because she was kind. How she was able to calm crying infants when she simply just held them like they felt safe with her. He wished he hadn't become a witcher and could give her what she wanted. She wanted a family, and Geralt had a bad feeling that her family was the cause of her pain and suffering.

"So, were too next Geralt?" Stella asked as she was packing up things to take with them.

"I don't know yet,we should just keep heading into the direction we are heading in and change it once in a while to keep off the masked man's trail.  During the winter, I head home, but I don't know how we will be doing that if he keeps following us," Geralt informed as she paused.

"Geralt?" A fimlar voice asked, making Geralt turn around.

"Oh no, it's the witch!" Jaskier said as he hid behind Stella, making Stella look at him oddly.

"A witch? What's a witch?" She asked.

"This one is mean, and she has tried to kill us!" Jaskier said as Yennefer rolled her eyes.

"Geralt, what are you doing here? This place isn't safe, especially not right now," yennefer informed him.

"I could ask you the same thing," he said.

"I needed some herbs that only grow here for a potion. Now tell me why you are here. There are people looking for a white-haired witcher, and I don't know why. What did you do?" She asked.

"What? Where?" Stella asked.

"I heard in a bar a small town was destroyed, and a man wearing a mask was searching for a witcher with white hair. There were only three survivors out of that town, and apparently, a  monsters attacked the town, and the girl saved them," Yennefer said as Stella looked at her sadly.

"But Theresa's more.. i didn't hurt them, I promise," Stella said.

"The man had them all killed," she informed as Stella started to tear up.

"No.." she said.

"Yes, I'm afraid so. What exactly do you have that makes killing a small village exceptable?" She asked.

"Stella excaped from two men, one waring a mask and one that wasn't. They had her chained up her whole life, and now they want her back. She isn't human," Geralt said as Stella started crying.

"Not again," she cried as she took off running to the forest.

"Stella!" Geralt said as she ran away, and Jaskier started to go after her.

"Geralt, they want you dead, give her back and go on with your life," she said.

"She has saved me many times, and I promised her those people would never hurt her again. Her clothes were soiled in her own filth and were never washed, her hair was so matted I almost had to cut it off. Yet she is kind and willing to show people what she had never experienced. I am not giving her back to people who mistreated her to the point that she never had a real name. Unless you wish to take her place, I suggest you never suggest that again," he growled.

"I lost Stella, I don't know if she's heading back home or not," Jaskier said out of breath.

"Fuck," he said as Yennefer sighed.

"It's for the best," she said.

"She can get killed!" He growled

"So can you for having her around! You think I want you to die because she is someone's pet? Do you understand that someone powerful put her there, and apparently, she is wanted by them for something," she said.

"Something not good, so I am keeping her safe. If you excuse me, I have to go find her," he said.

Yennefer looked over at Jaskier, and he swallowed hard.

"I should go help him find her," Jaskier said as Yennefer decided she was going to wait for them both.

But after both of them went looking for her and yelled for her for hours, they returned, thinking that she may have come back, but she didn't. It was now getting dark, and Geralt was more than worried that she had gotten taken.

"Geralt, she will come back," yennefer informed as he was about to go out again with a blanket and some food for her.

"She hasn't returned; I need to go look for her," Geralt said.

"Really? Is she your pet now or.." she paused as Geralt quickly pinned her against the wall.

"She is not my pet; she is my friend," Geralt informed.

"A friend you intend to sleep with or have slept with. I know you are worried but I can tell you haven't gotten anything in return for taking such good care of her," Yennefer informed as Geralt wanted to glare at her but like always her charm and her beauty were starting to effect him faster then normal.

But Stella came to mind and he started to resist her because he loved her kindness, her willingness to learn, he loved that she was hiding something from him and he had to figure out what it was. He loved her smile, her eyes, and her long black hair.

"Geralt, you need to relax sometime. We both know that," she informed as she kissed him.

Geralt wanted to push her away, but at the same time, he needed Stella. Stella wasn't ready for that, maybe not ever. He hadn't been with anyone for a while because of Stella, and he was always taking care of her. She was also always sleeping on top of him, making his needs more evident. He had been strong, but he was now struggling. He kissed her back as it started to rain outside.

When Stella came back due to fear that Geralt went looking for her, she had to get her sword that was supposed to be with Roach, but her sword wasn't there. Also, Roach was tied in the barn nicely. She went looking for them but soon smelled Geralt but something else that smelled a bit odd. She went to the building and went in while people were still up but they were to drunk to realize she was there. She found Jaskier with a woman and fast asleep next to her which she expected but what she didn't expect was Geralt in bed with the witch.

It hurt a lot more than seeing Jaskier because she expected Jaskier to not look for her, but Geralt she thought she knew him better than that, but she was wrong. Yennefer and Geralt were sleeping by each other while she was dripping wet with water outside the door. She decided it was best to leave, and so she did and went to the cave that hid in originally to be alone.

Geralt woke up to screaming as well as Yennefer as things started crashing outside. They both got dressed quickly and went outside to see monsters attacking the town. Bruxa's as well as other monsters that must have melted the blood that the Brux's were spilling.

"Shit!" Geralt said as people were getting slaughtered.

Geralt started fighting the monsters that seemed to have invited themselves here with Yennefer. But after a couple of minutes of fighting, they were getting overwhelmed. Geralt got knocked over by a Kikimora. Yennefer killed the Brux's and was about to kill the insect creature when a massive black dog came running out of the woods. It tackled the creature with such force he heard dome limbs breaking, but it wasn't enough to satisfy the dog. The dog stood up like it was human and picked it up. The wolf started bashing it into the ground until its insides were all over the ground. The wolf howled and started to go after all the other monsters  quickly, like its life depended on it buying Geralt time to get up.

As Geralt fought, the wolf was next to him fighting, ripping off heads with its strong teeth. It towered over him, and its muscles along were bigger than his head after looking at the wolf. Jaskier quickly went outside mostly to get away from the woman he slept with because she was married when he saw the wolf slice a monster's throat with its claws.

He knew exactly what it was; it was a werewolf. The werewolf looked at him, so Jaskier did the only reasonable thing he could think of, and that was to throw rocks at it. The werewolf defended itself by blocking the rocks, and it backed off.

"You better back off you, monster! I have more where that came from. Wait until Geralt comes! He's a witcher and he will gut you like a fish!" Jaskier informed as the werewolf eyes changed from an orange color to blue.

The werewolf backed off as Jaskier was threatening to throw more rocks at it when Geralt started to notice its odd behavior. Werewolves attacked and rarely backed down, but this one looked more human and acted more human as well. Yennefer was about to attack it when Geralt stopped her quickly.

"Geralt, kill it quickly before it eats me!" Jaskier yelled as Geralt headed over there.

As soon as he saw its blue eyes, he knew exactly who that was. The werewolf took off quickly back into the forest, but this time Geralt was able to fallow the blood trail. Geralt followed it to a small cave barely big enough for it to fit in curled up and whimpering.

"Stella?" Geralt said as it she stopped whimpering and tried to go deeper into the cave bit her now large body wouldn't allow her to go in any further.

"Stella, why are you hiding? You know all those people dying isn't your fault its the people who killed them are at fault,"  he said, but she didn't look at him.

"Stella, are you mad at me?" Geralt asked a she didn't answer but curled up more as the rain started to get worse.

He forgot she had a sense of smell like him made even better than his.

"Stella, I'm sorry," Geralt said, but she didn't believe him.

She couldn't believe anyone or anything, especially now since Geralt was going to kill her. He wanted out so he could make it quick and painless, but Stella wasn't going to move. She was heartbroken that he didn't go looking for her, but it was her fault for running away.

"Geralt!" Yennefer caled as she was holding a lantern in the pouring rain.

"The wolf was Stella, she's a werewolf," Geralt said as she quickly turned back to normal when he had his back turned and went deeper into the cave and turned big again.

"Stella, get out of that cave!" Geralt growled.

She didn't say anything until he touched her, making her freak out a scream like she was in pain.

"Don't make me come in there," he said as she curled up into a tight ball.

"Yennefer, get a blanket and rags she's bleeding," Geralt informed as he realized that once he left her, she would disappear.

"Alright, but the storm is getting worse," she said.

"If it gets too bad, then stay in the the Inn I'm staying here with Stella," Geralt said.

"Why?!" Yennefer asked.

"Because she needs me," Geralt said as she sighed weakly and left.

"I'm not going to hurt you if that is what you are thinking," Geralt said as she still didn't answer him.

The storm started to get worse and Stella still wasn't talking to him and oddly enough he missed her wide range of questions. Her ability to make him feel at peace with Yennefer he was never at peace with for very long and she always left him to do something else or someone else. Stella didn't do that until today and he knew why but now she refused to even be touched by him which spoke volumes to him even though she didn't say anything. She didn't need to.

"Stella... I went looking for you and I couldn't find you anywhere. Neither could Jaskier I'm sorry, what ever happened to make you afraid of me let me fix it," he said as she looked at him but looked away rather quickly and slowly turned back to normal when his back was turned to her.

"You didn't look for me or you would have found me; I know how good you are at finding things and people but you were distracted. I'm tired of people dying and people leaving me alone. I'm tired of people being afraid of me even though all I do is try to help. I know I'm not human otherwise I wouldn't have been chained up like a pet. When it started to rain I went looking for you and even in the rain I found you with Yennefer. I went to get my sword and... I found both you and Jaskier were asleep so I came back here. I was going to stay here all night until I smelled something off and then I heard the screams," she said softly, "I went to help then Jaskier called me a monster. He is right though I wish I was normal."

"You are not a monster, I have seen what real monsters look like and you aren't one of them," he said.

"I don't even have a real name. So what makes me any different than them? You should leave the storms going to get even worse," she said softly.

"You are kind, you show people things that were never shown to you. You make people feel safe and at peace when you are near them. You protect what you see is worth protecting and you may show you are afraid but you still act brave if it means saving people you care for," Geralt informed

"Is because people always die around me, soon you and Jaskier will be dead to. Thni will be alone again and trapped because I'm a monster and nothing more then that," she informed.

"Who said we were going to die?" Geralt asked.

"The masked man is hunting everyone who has seen you with me and killing them," she said.

"You really think I'm going to let him kill me? He will have to kill me to get to you," he said.

"Then that's what he will do," she said.

"Stella please come back to the Inn, it's safer and warmer then the cave," he informed her.

"I rather be out here, this way I can give you and Yennefer some privacy. I don't know wht that smell is but Jaskier always smells of when he's been with a woman and now you do to. You hv someone that makes you happy now," she said as Geralt wanted to yell at her.

He wanted to tell her how stupid she was for wanting to stay out in the rain in cave no less that was cold. But he remembered the scares on her wrists from trying to break free and ho she looked when he met her. How she never had a name because they would always insult her. She didn't know that there was such things as children or babies.

"Then I will stay here with you," he said.

"Yennefer will worry about you," she informed him.

"No she won't I'm a witcher, I'm used to whether like this," he said as the thunder rolled through the clouds and lightning struck a near by tree making her jump in fear.

"Want to go back to the Inn?" He asked.

"I think I should be in the barn instead,"  she said as Geralt sighed with frustration.
