"Where is the house at?" Stella asked.

"Just a little further, Stella. I might need to hold off the villagers. I'll still clear the backway, but you need to go through the front," he informed.

"But Alexander, you can't hold them off and fight them," Stella informed.

"I can, but you have to trust me," he said as they stopped running and hid behind a house.

"You don't just do hard labor, do you?" Stella asked.

"I'm self-taught some. Look, don't worry about me. What you need to do is get your friends out of here in one piece. I know you can do it. I believe that you can do it with a bit of help," he said.

"But if you die, your sister will miss you," she informed.

"I haven't seen her in ages. She probably thinks I'm gone already. Look, Stella, you can do this. Don't worry about me. We both look helpless, but we aren't; don't you ever let people walk all over you. If you have a chance to do the right thing, then do it. You have gifts that can help people not just yourself so use them. Make the people who want to hurt your family, be afraid of you. I know you don't like using your gifts because people might become afraid of you but it's okay. Everyone can be afraid of things that they don't understand but you need one thing and one thing only and that is a family that will have your back no matter what and they are in that building," he said.

"Why do you want to help me?" She asked.

"My sister was not only beautiful but gifted with powers to I never knew about it until she lashed out at someone. I have seen so many people die here because they don't understand that people are different and can be. I can't fix that, but what I can do is make sure this village stops it. I also want you to know that I'm not afraid of you and I will never be afraid of you but I will be afraid for you. I may not find my sister but you remind me a lot of her and that is why I will help you to the best of my abilities to make up for not being able to protect her because I wasn't old enough to understand. Now come on, we got people to save and people to kill," he said as he took out his sword and she grew her out of her nails.

"Let's go then," she said as they headed to the house; Alex went to the back while Stella went threw the front and took out the door.

A guard quickly went to her, and she caught his hand and then snapped his arm in half. She took his sword and quickly cut off his head. The other guards quickly started to go for her, and Alexander went through the back and was killing guards as he went along.

"You know I wonder how long it will take you to drown witcher," a man said.

Geralt was not too interested in him, but he could smell Stella now, which was worrying. Stella was cutting through people like they were nothing and headed down to the basement where there were more people. She dodged a sword man and kicked him down the stairs, making everyone else alarm. She picked a guy up and impaled him on a wall. She saw the guys close the door and locked it so she wouldn't be able to get through but she put the sword down and punched a hole through the door; she looked through the hole to see Geralt and she could smell Jaskier in as well.

"Hold the door, she can't get through the door," a man said as Eskel looked over at Geralt.

Something big body slammed the door, making Eskel look at the door and Geralt as well.

"How big is this girl?" Eskel asked as she threw herself at the door again, and the men backed up, fearing for their lives.

The third time, she got through and sent the door flying. The door hit someone, the guards, and Stella picked up her sword and started killing the guards that were in there. She dropped the sword as Jaskier looked at her shocked.

"How did you do that?" Jaskier asked.

"Taught by a witcher," she smiled as she saw the chains and wrapped her arm in them, and started to pull on the chain.

"Looking for this!" The mayor asked as he had the key and swallowed it in front of her.

"You made a bad mistake," she said as he scoffed.

"My men that you killed, they were weak. Step away from them now," he ordered as he pointed his sword at her and grabbed her.

He hit her, and she fell to the ground next to Geralt.

"Don't touch her," Geralt growled as Stella backed up to Geralt and looked down at the ground.

"I'm going to do more than that to her," he said as he put his sword down and got close to her.

"You are helpless now, so what to do with you now," he smiled as he bent down to look at her.

"Helpless? I don't think so," she as she grew out, her nails ad grabbed his heart, and pulled it out.

The man fell on his side, and she got on top of him and ripped his chest open. She found the key and put it on the ground. She went over to Jaskier and wrapped her arm around the chain, and put her foot on the wall.

"Sorry," she said as she started pulling, and then the chain broke.

Eskel looked at her as she did the same thing for him and couldn't smell anything odd. He was puzzled by her just as much as Geralt was and couldn't believe she was strong even though she didn't look like it. She tried to free Geralt from the cage, but she was only able to move the bars a little. She grabbed the key and freed him, and unlocked the chains that were still on Jaskeier and Eskel.

"Thank you, you must be Stella, Geralt has told me about your powers. I'm a witcher like he is," Eskel informed.

"Alexander! Geralt Alexander was here. He helped me get out, I need to find him," she said as she took off running through the large house.

"Alexander?" Eskel asked as he grabbed his stuff and went after her.

Geralt followed and saw bodies laying on the ground. Eskel didn't kill them, and neither did Stella. The lines were clean, and skilled swordsmen were able to do this. Eskel would have warned him if there was danger, but there was none.

"Geralt looks like this Alexander guy has left, I can't pick up his sent either," Eskel informed.

"He may be drawing some of the villagers away, we need to leave and go to the next town and talk," Geralt said.

"I'll right I'll go get Stella," Eskel said as he went to go get her.

"Alexander!" Stella called.

"Alexander!" She called again but no answer.

"Stella we need to leave, he may be drawing the villagers away from here," Eskel said.

"But we need to go find him! He could get hurt!" She said.

"I'm sorry but I can't smell him and I don't know why, we need to leave before they come back," he said as she looked at him sadly.

"Okay," she said with a sigh.

But Alex wasn't drawing villagers away he was close by. He wanted to go to her but he couldn't not yet. He heard horses but it wasn't Geralt it was someone else. He took off running to draw them away from Stella and Geralt. The horses stopped in the town and the men that were riding them got off. One was wearing an iron mask.

"Grab anyone you can find and bring them to me," he ordered.

Several men were brought forward and the masked man got out his sword.

"Which one of you saw a witcher with a young girl or a man in rags?" The masked man asked as none of them answered.

"I will not ask again if you value your lives, I suggest you say something," the man said.

"I saw the woman and the witcher, they did this to our town! They are murderers! I didn't see them leave," A man growled.

"You were right then, we are close," another man said.

"Indeed, if we find our missing man we will find our prize as well. He is protecting her after all but he can't do that forever. Kill them all. Search for our prize and I will go see if our man in rags is nearby," The masked man said.

"You think he will stay by her?" The other man asked.

"As I said; he is protecting her from us. The longer she is free the harder it will be for us to control her. Now that she had a taste of freedom she won't want to come back willingly so we need to find a way to make her willing. I'm sure our man in rags has helped her in some way already. If he came in contact with him I'm sure she would try to help him as well. Two birds with one stone. If you could have done your job and kept her in that tower we wouldn't have to search every town. You are lucky you are useful otherwise you would be dead. Too bad we can't kill that stupid boy, he is still useful to us too," he informed as they started to search the town for them.
