After many hours of talking, lots of tears and many cups of tea Elizabeth's head falls into my lap. Her breaths get slower and falls into a pattern.

I start twirling little pieces of her blue dyed hair between my fingers.

Is it possible to fall in love with someone this fast?

Her hair, the softest I have ever felt, with a scent of honey, roses and lemongrass. Her face, the many freckles covering her cute little nose. Her brown perfectly arched eyebrows and her slightly blushed cheeks. They're stained with tears. It kills me that such a adorable, sweet person would have to go thru all this.
And her eyes, the most beautiful blue eyes with sprinkles of green and yellow in them, that they would have to cry so many tears. And last but not least, her lips. Her beautiful, pink tinted lips that look so kissable.

No Dodie, stOP. You can not fall in Love with her, not now. She might not even like you. And she's seventeen you'll be arrested for pedophilia or something. I know it's only two years but she's still underage.

Ok, how am I going to do this? She is sleeping in my lap. Am I going to wake her? Where's she supposed to sleep?

After much thinking I end up carefully lifting her head of my lap. I get out a pillow and a blanket and carefully put the pillow under her head and the blanket over her small body.

Just as I'm about to leave I hear a slight groan from the couch.
'Dodie, stay.' She says in a sleepy voice. 'I'll be back soon.' I answer and quickly gather a pillow, a blanket and an extra mattress for me.

I put the things beside the couch. I don't know how but in some magical way she is still awake. I lay down on the mattress, curl up as close to the couch as possible and look up at her.
She's holding down her hand for me to take it and I do. Hand in hand we both fall asleep not long after that.
