That one dude, Pepito
"I wish I could stay like this all day...you know? Like...with you. Forever." Hiccup let out a breath and wrapped his arm around my bare shoulders, my blanket covering our laps.
I shrugged. "Yeah, me too, but..." I trailed off, knowing Hiccup knows what comes next.
He nodded and brought me closer. "I know... Why is life so...unfair?"
I shrugged once again and exhaled through my nose. I leaned over the edge of the bed, Hiccup's arm still holding me, and reached for my glasses, which were on the floor. I came back to my original spot and slid my glasses on. Phew, that's better. "Hey Hiccup?"
I felt said guy kiss my head and wrap his arm more securely around me. "Yes, princess?"
"Um... Don't you think... Okay," I looked up and at him. "I really wanna stay with you here, I really want you here, but...I think it's...probably time to...you know...get dressed and...you leave..."
Hiccup slowly started to frown. "But I want to stay here, we can just lock your door, stay in your room."
I'm pretty sure I'm noticing some tears in his eyes but I ignored it, probably just my imagination. I sighed and looked back down, glasses sliding forward a bit; the blankets seem like an amazing object to stare at, at the moment. "I..." I couldn't finish what I was saying, so I sighed instead and plopped my forehead onto Hiccup's shoulder. I have no idea how to respond to that.
"Astrid? Astrid, please, look at me."
I felt a hand cup my cheek and bring my face up so I could look into Hiccup's eyes and listen to him. "I..I don't want to leave you." He leaned forward and rested his forehead against mine. "I don't want to lose you."
I rose an eyebrow subtly. "How will you lose me?"
Hiccup brought his other hand up and cupped my face. "Anything could happen while I'm gone, Astrid. My dad could, somehow, find out about me seeing you, you could get hurt, I might get hurt, anything...anything, at all, could happen."
I chuckled and shook my head. "You really think all that might happen?"
"Yes," murmured Hiccup, placing a gentle kiss upon my lips. I kissed back and he brought me closer to his body, having me half on his lap and my other half on the bed.
"We probably should...get changed," I mumbled in between a kiss. Hiccup whimpered and shook his head, pushing me down onto the bed and hovering above me, the covers covering us. "No." He darted his tongue out and continued to kiss me, his nose bumping my glasses occasionally.
I lightly shook my head. "We should, we have to... My mom..."
"I don't care." Hiccup pressed his body closer to mine and moved his lips against mine so fast that I couldn't even comprehend what we were doing for a moment. Hiccup hummed into my mouth and kissed me even deeper by tilting his head more to the side.
Okay I didn't want to stop this but I asked, "Wait, if we're gonna kiss...what about my glasses?"
Hiccup chuckled on my lips and moved back from the kiss to smile a bit more and kissed me again. "You're right." Reaching out, Hiccup took off my glasses and gently dropped them to the floor.
I giggled a little, while Hiccup kissed me, and spoke. "Why is it always the floor?"
Hiccup shrugged and chuckled. He reached behind him and threw the covers over us, covering us completely.
I giggled and Hiccup chuckled, kissing me a bit more gentler but roughly at the same time. I smirked and grabbed a handful of his auburn tresses, I don't know if it'd hurt but I heard him hum so I'm assuming it's okay...
"I love you...I really do..." announced Hiccup while moving his lips against mine. I sighed in a bliss and the kiss between us went more slower and memorable. "Me too..." I replied with a small smile on my slightly swollen lips.
Hiccup smiled and removed his lips from mine for the first time since he came and rested his forehead against mine, breathing heavily like me. "I mean it."
I laughed a little and placed a gentle kiss on the tip of his nose. "I know, because I love you very much as well."
Hiccup smiled and placed one more soft and gentle kiss upon my lips before whispering, "I love you..."
I smiled softly and placed a gentle and soft kiss upon his lips before whispering back, "I love you..."
"Always will..." says Hiccup, waiting for me to finish.
"Never won't..."
"Yeah..." murmured Hiccup.
=+++=
"I love you, I hope you know that."
So, if you're wondering what's happening right now, my Mom just came home and Hiccup is about to climb out my window; I know - cliche right?
"Yeah, yeah, love you too," I responded, quickly helping Hiccup down the window without falling to his death.
"I don't know when we'll see each other again..." whined Hiccup, climbing down the wiggly ladder.
"We have phones. I think we're fine." I gave Hiccup a reassuring smile and he sent me one full of sadness, but there was a hint of assurance in it.
"All right, promise we'll text each other and call each other?" asked Hiccup, halfway down the ladder.
I nodded and smiled again, holding on to the top of the ladder. "I'll see you at school, or something."
Hiccup smiled and nodded. "Okay. I'll make sure I see you there." He winked at me and smirked while I blushed a little.
"Okay, whatever, see you when I see you."
Hiccup nodded for the last time and jumped down the rest of the way. He made sure no one was looking before blowing a kiss to me and running away.
I sighed and rested my forearms on the windowsill, staring at my boyfriend's running figure.
Boyfriend.
That word would most likely be foreign to me for a long time but I'm okay with it.
For a moment I just looked out the window, thinking, until I heard my phone go off, meaning someone's calling me.
I turned around and furrowed my brow, I don't know who'd be calling me right now but I went to go pick it up anyway.
"Hello?" I sat on the edge of my bed when I heard the voice on the other line and smiled.
"Hello, milady."
I laughed and shook my head. "It's only been a couple minutes."
I could tell he shrugged on the other line and by the tone of his voice I could tell he's smiling. "Eh, it's felt like hours. Besides, I literally cannot be away from you for, like, a minute, at least."
I chuckled and sighed, jumping when I heard a knock at my door. I muttered a quick "Hold on" to Hiccup and placed my phone on my bed, walking to my door.
I opened it but then immediately closed it when I saw my Mom standing there. I leaned my back against the door and kept my hand on the knob, feeling my Mom shake it.
"Astrid, please open the door. If you're still mad about what I said earlier-"
Oh, I remember clearly what happened earlier, I don't want to remember it though. "Yes! Yes, I know. I'm not mad about...that..."
"You sure?" my Mom asked on the other side of the door.
I made my lips a thin line. "Yeah, I'm actually kinda mad."
My Mom chuckled and asked, "Can I enter?"
I raised an eyebrow but didn't question her. I stepped aside and let her enter my room, getting more suspicious when she looked around my room.
"Hmm...you're not hogging any boys in here, are you?"
I contorted my face and shouted, "Ew! Gods, Mom, no! Seriously?!"
She just laughed and shrugged.
"Do you think I'll even be capable of doing that?" I asked, my voice still a bit loud.
My Mom just laughed again and shrugged as well. "I don't know. But I hope you never become that kinda of girl..."
I softened my face and lowered my voice, smiling softly. "I'll never become one of those people, Mom. You know that."
My Mom just smiled nodded. "Alright. I'll go now."
I nodded once and closed the door when my Mom left.
I waited a couple seconds before hurrying over to my bed and snatching my phone off it, plopping down onto the mattress.
"Hey?"
"Hello..."
"Um...you didn't hear the whole thing...right?" I asked.
"Oh. I totally didn't." He did. I can totally hear him snicker in the background.
"You did!"
"Okay! I did, I did." He broke out laughing.
I rolled my eyes and plopped my arm over my eyes. "Whatever..."
"Your mother is literally something," snickered Hiccup.
I rolled my eyes again and sighed. "Just shut up."
Hiccup catcalled through the other line. "Ooh, feisty one aren't ya?"
I let out a laugh and took off my glasses, holding them in the air and playing with the left rim. "I'm not exactly the...feisty...type of girl."
I heard Hiccup laugh on the other line then sigh afterwards. "I miss you."
I small-smiled and sighed too. "Yeah, me too."
"Crap..."
"What?" I furrowed my brow questioningly.
"My Dad's back home. I see the guards and the limousine... Ah sh...ip! Ah ship!"
I giggled a little and slid my glasses back on. "It's okay if you cuss... I mean, I've never cussed but...you can."
"Ah shit."
I snorted but then covered my mouth and nose, in fear of my Mom hearing. "There you go."
Suddenly, my door swung open. I jumped up in a sitting position and widened my eyes. "Mom! Hi!"
"Alright, spill the beans, who're you talking to?"
I pursed my lips and felt like dying when I heard Hiccup snicker in the phone. "Uh...with no one?"
My Mom stared at me before walking over to me and snatching my phone away from my hand.
I clawed for my phone back but my Mom already had it on speaker. "Wait!"
"Who is this?" My Mom demanded Hiccup, but she doesn't know it's him, obviously.
I feared that Hiccup would expose himself but what he did made me wanna die of laughter.
Hiccup put on his best Mexican accent and said, "This...is Pepito."
I felt like killing him. This is so embarrassing right now.
My Mom furrowed her brow and looked at me. "Pe...pito?"
I nodded just as Hiccup spoke again.
"Si! Si! Yes! I'm Pepito! And...I'm Mexican..."
Dear gods above...
"I know it's you Hiccup. Stop with the act."
I widened my eyes again and I'm pretty sure I was able to see over the blue rims.
"Hiccup? Hiccup who?"
My Mom rolled her eyes. "You're the only person I know who sounds like that one celebrity. But a bit more nasally."
I heard Hiccup let out a breath. "Alright, it's me."
I groaned and flopped down on my bed. "There goes my self-esteem for him now..."
My Mom just laughed at my remark, confusing me a little. Shouldn't she be mad that I'm speaking to Hiccup even though it's forbidden to even see him?
"Now, Ms. Hofferson, please don't remove me from your daughter's life, please I-"
"Okay."
I sat up again and stared at my Mom. "What?"
"What?"
My Mom just smiled at me and continued speaking. "I know how much you love my daughter and you make her very happy; it makes me happy that she's actually not a robot."
I rolled my eyes. "Gee, thanks Mom, feeling the love."
Mom just laughed. "But really though. You're the first person who's made her happy...and mad...but happy in the end."
"Wait, what do you mean by mad-?"
"You broke her shell Hiccup. You made her happy, emotionally devastated, happy..."
"Mom, you're saying happy more than-"
"You make her happy. That's it. You make her happy and...it makes me happy that she's happy."
"Mom you're just confusing me every time you say-"
"So, please, I insist you stay with her. I heard the news about you and her forbidden to see each other but...you make her the happiest I've ever seen her."
"And you're also ignoring me...well done. Best Mom of the year." I gave my Mom a thumbs up but then widened my eyes and dropped my hands. "Wait what?"
My Mom smirked at me and spoke into the phone. "You can keep secretly seeing my daughter...Hiccup."
I can tell Hiccup was grinning because of the tone of his voice. "Really?!"
"Yes." My Mom gave me a warming smile and I grinned, laughing with joy and falling back on my bed.
Hiccup laughed in the phone with joy and thanked my Mom before saying, "Can I please speak to Astrid?"
"Sure son." My Mom walked over to my bed and handed me the phone. She smile at me and walked out my room, closing my door when she did.
I took my phone off speaker and put it on my ear. "Hi."
"I can't believe she's okay with us staying together!"
I laughed at his enthusiastic attitude. "Yeah... Me neither."
"Yeah..."
I then tilted my head and stared at the ceiling, thinking for a moment. "Uh...what happened to your Dad? Is he still there?"
"Huh? Oh, yeah. Well, not sure. I left. I'm at the park... I swear, so many people know exactly who I am... It's kinda creepy."
I chuckled. "Well...you are one of the most know people in the world, I mean, you're literally the president's son, who won't recognize you?"
Hiccup laughed a little on the other line. "True, very true."
I thought a bit more before speaking. "Can we talk about Pepito for a moment?"
"Oh dear..."
