Elsa's Pov

I woke up from a restful night of sleeping. I sat up and stretched out my arms and yawned. I looked around the room. I guess last night wasn't a dream. I looked down at the digital clock in the bedside table. 6:00 it read. Wow. I've never willingly woke up early on a Saturday before. I got out of bed and went downstairs. No one else was awake yet. I'm bored. I think I'll make breakfast for Jack and Emma. It's the least I could do for them after helping me. I thought to myself.

I went to the kitchen and grabbed the frying pan from the cupboard and got some eggs and vegetables from the fridge. I minced some peppers, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes and I cooked a few pieces of bacon and chopped them up too. I cracked a few eggs into a bowl and whisked them with a fork. I turned on the stove and poured some of the egg into the pan. As one side of the omelet was cooking, I added everything but the onions. Soon my omelet was done. I put it on a plate and set it aside. I heard a yawn from the stairs. I turned around and saw Emma standing at the bottom of the stairs.

"Morning Emma! What do you want on your omelet?" I asked her. "Everything but the mushrooms. I don't like them." she said making a face. "No problem. It'll take a minute." I said. After adding the ingredients, I tried to flip the omelet like a pro and I succeed. "You are a pro at cooking." Emma said. "Thanks. What would Jack like on his omelet?" I asked. "He likes everything. But add extra peppers. He loves peppers." Emma said. "Ok. One extra pepper omelet coming up." I said while putting her omelet in her plate and adding cheese on top. "Bon apateté." I said with a goofy French accent. She took a bite out of her omelet. "Oh my gosh! This is delicious! Where did you learn to cook like that?" she asked. "I learned from a few people in my family. Mostly from my mom and dad." I said flipping Jack's omelet.

"Well this is amazing. And after Jack wakes up, I'm going to take you shopping and I also want to try something with your hair. By the time I'm done with you, you will look fabulous!" Emma said making jazz hands. I giggled at her goofiness.(A/N is that even a word?) "Why are you doing up this early?" I asked. "I always get up this early so I can make breakfast for sleeping beauty up there." she said pointing towards the stairs. I giggled. "But it looks like you beat me to it." I heard a creak come from the stairs. We turn to see Jack at the bottom of the stairs.

"Hey sleepy head. You finally decided to get up." Emma teased. Jack just rolled his eyes. "Hey Elsa. How did you sleep last night?" he asked. "Pretty good. I made you an omelet. I hope you like it." I said handing him his omelet. He sat down next to Emma and took a bite. "Where in the world did you learn to cook like that? This is amazing!" he said snarfing down half of the omelet. "Jeez dude, calm down! You'll choke." I said laughing with Emma. He slowed down and swallowed his food. I grabbed my plate and sat down at the table. "So how does your eye feel? It looks a lot better than yesterday and it stopped swelling, so that's good." she asked. "It feels fine. So do you have any clothes I can borrow for today until we can get me some clothes?" I asked. "I think that I might have some clothes from mom. She gives me some of her clothes but they are usually too big for me. So you can use them if you want to." Emma said taking her plate to the sink. "Thanks Emma." I said. "Well let's go! The sooner you get dressed the faster we can go shopping!" she said grabbing my hand and literally dragging me upstairs to her room.

"Here. Try this on." Emma said handing me a pair of navy blue jeans and a blue t-shirt with a poler bear on it. I went to the bathroom and changed into them. They fit me pretty good. I went back to Emma's room.

"Sweet. What size of shoe do you wear?"

"A size 8."

"Perfect. You can use these." she says as she hands me a pair of sneakers. "Thanks." I put the shoes on and I borrowed Emma's hairbrush and put my hair into a high ponytail. In a few minutes, we were ready to go. "Jack! We're going to the mall! We'll be back soon." Emma shouted. Jack came running down the stairs. "Wait, Elsa. You're going to need these. We don't want those guys to find you again." he said as he handed me a baseball cap and some sunglasses. "Thanks Jack." I smiled sweetly. "Don't mention it." he said rubbing the back of his neck. I could almost see him blushing. "Come on Elsa! Hurry up! We want to get there early so we can beat everyone to the great deals at the shops!" I heard Emma shout from the car out front. I put on the hat and slid my hair through the hole in the back of his cap and put on the sunglasses and headed out the door.

~Skip to the Mall~

"It's been years since I've went shopping at the mall." I said. "Say WHAT? Tell me you did not just say that." Emma said in a sassy voice that made me giggle. "The last time I was here was when my mom was still alive. Ever since she died, dad's been overprotective with me and wouldn't let me go anywhere without him and he didn't like going to the mall." I said sadly. "Well, get ready to go CRAZY!!" Emma shouted as she grabbed my hand and dragged me to a whole lot of shops.

Le time skip.

We walked through the front doors with a bunch of bags in our arms filled with clothes to last me through the zombie apocalypse. "Oh Jackrabbit! We're home!" Emma shouted. Jack came down the stairs and his jaw dropped when he saw the bags. "How much did you spend Emms?" he asked. "More than 100 dollars, that's for sure." she said. Jack looked like he was about to pass out. Emma and I burst into laughter. "Did I miss something?" Jack asked. "I was kidding. We only spent a few bucks thanks to Els." she said. "We walked around the mall, but everything was too expensive for my taste. So we went to a few thrift shops and got these great deals for a whole bunch of awesome stuff." I said. Jack let out a sigh of relief. "Good. I thought Emma maxed out our credit cards." I laughed as Emma made the I-can't-believe- you face. "Ok. Let's get your first day of school outfit ready!" Emma said yanking me up to the spare room.
