"Rachel, what do you think of that dress?" Ella pointed out the purple dress in front of me.

"Oh my, it is very pretty!" I exclaimed with a smile.

"What's so pretty about it? That's just a normal dress." Helen rolled her eyes and walked out of the store.

"Did I say something wrong?" I asked while looking at Ella and Nicole.

"No you didn't, Helen is just being her bitchy self again. Come on let's go." Ella said with irritation clear in her voice. Nicole gave me a shrug, she hooked her arm into mine and pulled me along.

Ella suggested that we should have a girls day out and get to know more about each other. Well, honestly, I prefer to stay at home and watch some shows on my laptop. Ha, yeah what an interesting social life I have.

"So what now?" Helen turned around and questioned us.

"Helen you seemed like in a hurry. You don't have to accompany us if you can't." Nicole replied softly.

Helen look like she wanted to say something but was cut off by Ella.

"Yeah, Nicole is right, if this is too burdensome for you, then it's alright you can go first."

"Hey." I nudged Ella by the side and gave her a warning look.

"Bingo! Ella your prediction skills are so accurate! Bye!" Helen responded sarcastically.

"Is Helen always like this?" I couldn't help but ask them.

"You mean if she is always this moody? Hahaha nope she's way more cheerful than this. Something happened before you came..." Nicole filled me in, but that leaves me with even more questions. What exactly happened to Helen? Is the problem okay now?

These questions were running around my mind but I could not ask them aloud. They didn't want to explain further, I respect that, so I changed the topic by asking them where do they want to have their lunch.

It seems like my question about Helen changed the whole atmosphere of our outing. We were aimlessly walking around in search of where to eat.

Finally we found a diner and ordered our food. The awkward silence when we were eating is killing me. I really should not have asked about Helen.

Luckily Ella break the awkward silence by asking, "Do you girls want to come over to my house after lunch? We could watch a movie together."

"Okay sure!" Nicole and I answered in unison.

Ella's car was blasting off Ellie Goulding's "Love Me Like You Do". We were having so much fun singing along to the song. This song was my personal favourite.

With a twist of the key, the car's engine turn off.

"So, girls what movie do you want to watch?" Nicole lifted an eyebrow and flickered her gaze to meet our eyes.

"Hmmm.. I think I have-"

Before Ella finished her sentence she waved enthusiastically at someone behind me.

"Boys! Hey! Wanna come over my house? We're watching a movie!"

Before I turned around and see who were the boys, I have a bad feeling it would be Zachary and friends. As expected when I turned around Zachary and his friends are taking selfies shirtless.

*Gulp*

Shirtless? I get that the weather was super hot nowadays but they could also wear their t-shirt while taking selfies, am I right?! Not that I was complaining about the view right now, but, it was really distracting.

"Rachel, I forgot to tell you that Zachary and I are neighbours, so you will be seeing him around whenever you come over..." Ella said with small shrug of her shoulders.

"Yeah yeah come on let's go and watch a movie." Zachary told the group and walked towards Ella's house shirtless.

"Wait, could you guys put on your clothes before going in?" I asked aloud before I could process it in my brain. Oops.

Zachary stopped in his tracks and questioned me with a smirk.

"Why? I bet the other girls will be loving it if we just go in like this."

Everyone focused their attention on me to see how would I respond to Zachary's question. Well, I could be tongue-tied right now, this concerned my pride.

"I just thought it will be rude if you guys walk into someone's house without a shirt on. You guys are not that rude right?" I retorted back.

To be honest, I was really proud with my comeback. I didn't even blush and my voice didn't quiver.

If looks could kill, I would be dead with just the nasty glare Zachary gave me. Jake, Zachary's friend threw a shirt at his face so that he could stop glaring at me.

"Alright guys stop bickering and go in we've been standing here for quite some time." "Yeah, Dylan is right!" Nicole quickly pulled me into Ella's house before any of us could say anything else.

Wow. That went well.
