Rachel's POV

* knock, knock *

"Honey, are you feeling better?" My mum sat beside me and patted my back.

I turned around and replied with a small smile, "Yes mum, much better than yesterday."

"Alright, come down for breakfast whenever you're ready."

The doctor gave me sick leave for today, so my mum let me sleep in. Ella and the girls are going to be here after school to pass me my bag and stuffs. I sat up slowly just in case I'll feel giddy.

Ahhh, wow, my head. The pain throbs and pulses in my skull, not a sharp pain like a knife-inflicted wound, but more of a dull pounding with a hammer over and over again. Nevertheless, I found my way to the bathroom. I doubt lying down again will do my headache any good, might as well just wake up.

After going through the normal routine of freshening up, I tried my best to brush my messy hair. I don't even bother looking at the mirror because I'm having a pimple outbreak. I admire those girls who have flawless skin. Not a single pimple on their face. Mine? *sighs* Pleased that my hair doesn't look like a lion, breakfast here I come.

"Rachel! Your friends are here!" I vaguely heard my mum yelling for me, but I had my earphones plugged into my ears.

"RACHEL WILLIAMS ARE YOU DEAF?!" Removing my earphones, jumping out of my bed and running out of the bedroom. I did all those within seconds.

"Mum? My hearing is perfectly fine, why are you screaming for me?" I asked while walking down the stairs.

"Hi Rachel!" Nicole appeared out of nowhere and thud! Owww, yes you're right, that's the sound of me falling down, again. I missed a step and landed on my butt.

"Oh my God, Rachel I'm sorry for scaring you!" Nicole apologised and helped me up.

I giggled and shook my head, "It's alright, I should have watched my step too."

As we entered the living room, I saw the boys are here too. Zachary's lips quirked up in amusement as he looked at me, "Williams, did you just fall down?"

"Yeah so what?" I responded with a scoff.

The boys covered their mouths as they smothered a grin. Ella and Helen ignored them and each gave me a hug. They filled me in what happened at school today.

The whole school knew about the incident. Everyone was debating whether Jane did it on purpose or it's just an accident. Most people assumed that Jane did it on purpose and gave her a cold shoulder.

It doesn't matter what was the truth. Yeah, it'll be awesome to get back on Jane. However, she's the queen of this school. Jane was used to people respecting her and giving her all the attention she wanted. After what happened yesterday, she had lost all these. If Jane hoped to regain her reputation as queen bee, it would take some time. I guess that's enough for Jane and I.

Zachary's POV

I was twirling my pen and staring at the set of revision questions. Those questions looked familiar, I know we've learnt this before. The thing was we just had a test two weeks ago on these subjects. I am the type who finished a test and forgot what I've just studied for.

Where I am now was so quiet you can even hear a pin drop. Make a guess? Okay, fine, it's lame. Obviously the library would be this quiet. Don't be surprise to find me in a library, alone. Dylan and Jake stood me up, saying that they've got something important to do. It's kind of hard at first because all the girls are fascinated with the fact that I'm revising. What's so interesting about that? They would crowd near me and whisper among themselves.

Normally, I would revise at home, but it was the boys' idea to revise here. The librarian came to my rescue and dispersed the crowd that was ever growing. After the initial fascinations, the girls didn't disturb me from my revision.

My body started to feel sore after sitting down for too long. Glancing at my watch, I realised I've been studying for nearly two hours. No wonder my brain couldn't think properly and my eyes hurt from the constant reading.

I walked out to get my car, after packing my belongings.

On my way out, guess who I found relaxing at the canteen?
