Your POV:

Once we got to Laurence's house, his dad and sister greeted us. His sister had long orange hair and sparkly green eyes. She smiled at us as she continued sewing, his dad smiled as well.       "Welcome home Laurence. Who is this?" He asked. Laurence chuckled and messed up my hair.     "This is (Y/n). She is in my music class. (Y/n), this is my sister Cadenza and my dad, Hayden." Laurence introduced. I gave a small wave and pushed my glasses up before fiddling with my sleeves.                                                                                                                                                                                     "It's nice to meet you (Y/n). Will you be staying for dinner?" Hayden asked.                                               "Actually dad, (Y/n) was hoping to stay the night. She doesn't like being alone and her sister and mom are gone." Laurence replied. I nodded and Hayden smiled and nodded.                                         "Of course she can stay. You will always be welcome here (Y/n)!" Hayden exclaimed.                           "Dad, the meat is burning." Cadenza pointed out as Hayden began freaking out. She giggled and walked towards us. "It's nice to meet you (Y/n)! I hope we can be friends!" I nodded and gave her a small smile before fixing my glasses again.                                                                                                           "Me too Cadenza. You seem really nice." I replied quietly. Cadenza squealed and hugged me tightly. She began fan girdling about me being so small and cute. I puffed my cheeks out and looked away, my cheeks burning in embarrassment. Laurence chuckled as Cadenza ran up to her room for some reason. Laurence took my hand gently and dragged me away from the kitchen and living room.

"Let's go to my room. Hopefully Cadenza won't drag you away and dress you up..." Laurence whispered before dragging me into a green room. He closed the door before sitting on the bed.   "I like your room Laurence. It smells like a forest mixed with skittles." I said quietly, sitting on the ground. Laurence chuckled and held up a large bag of skittles before putting them away again.   "Thanks (Y/n). Want to play 20 questions or something?" Laurence asked. I shrugged and nodded. "Ok. I'll ask you questions first." He added before tapping his chin playfully.                         "Ok... How old are you?" I cracked a small smile before pushing my glasses up on my nose.             "13 turning 14. Most grade niners are 14 turning 15. So I'm a year younger than them." I replied quietly. Laurence seemed shocked but nodded anyways.                                                                                 "Cool. Now you need to ask a question." Laurence replied. I nodded and thought for a moment.   "Ok... Umm..... Do you like singing?" Laurence shrugged and crossed his legs so he was fully on the bed.                                                                                                                                                                                     "I guess... Singing and playing music are just ways to express yourself without saying what you actually mean." Laurence explained. I nodded in understanding. "Alright.... Why don't you like being alone?" I shrugged and pulled my legs to my chest, hugging them loosely.                                   "It reminds me of being in the orphanage. Everyone kept their distance and never talked to me. I never had any friends and when people did talk to me, they were only after breaking me. I grew afraid of being alone... And now, I panic." I said simply, not making eye contact. "Do you rather singing alone or singing in a group?" I asked, changing the subject. Laurence chuckled.                     "Again with the singing eh (Y/n)? Would you be wanting me to sing for you?~" He asked playfully. I blushed lightly and puffed my cheeks out.                                                                                                             "Noooooooooo. Just answer the question." I said, turning away. Laurence laughed a bit.                 "Fine, fine. I don't really mind either. I can sing alone or in a group. But I feel a bit more confidant in a group. Now... What's your favourite color?" I giggled quietly and fixed my glasses.   "(F/c) of course! It's just so pretty!~" I exclaimed happily before covering my mouth with my sleeves. My cheeks heated up and I looked away from Laurence, who chuckled. "Oops..." I mumbled. Laurence messed up my hair and gave me a warm smile.                                                           "Aww~ That was so cute! Why aren't you that loud and energetic all the time?" Laurence asked. I pouted and turned away, puffing out my cheeks.                                                                                                   "Because I get nervous... I don't want to be hurt anymore...." I mumbled. "Anyways, how do you feel about the music thing going on?" I asked. Laurence shrugged and moved so he was lying on his stomach.                                                                                                                                                                           "I'm a bit nervous about it. But I think we can pull it off. And if we make it big, Cadenza can make costumes, dad can help with practices and they both will help cheer us on." Laurence said.             "They seem like cool guys. You must be really happy." I said. He nodded.                                                 "Yeah.... They have been there for me my whole life..." I nodded in understanding as the door opened and Cadenza popped her head into the room.                                                                                       "Hey you two, it's time for dinner! Dad made tacos!" Cadenza exclaimed happily before rushing off. Laurence chuckled and got to his feet before putting his hand towards me. I looked at it for a second before grabbing and pulling myself to my feet. I smiled slightly and let go of him hand.     "Let's go eat!" I said quietly before fixing my glasses. I avoided making eye contact as he linked arms with me, not noticing me flinch slightly.

He pulled me towards the kitchen and we sat down at the table. I was in the middle of Cadenza and Laurence. Hayden sat opposite of me and we all began eating.                                            "I have the perfect thing for you to wear (Y/n)!!! It's so cute! It would look great on you!" Cadenza gushed. I blushed slightly in embarrassment and shook my head, fiddling with my sleeves.                                                                                                                                                                              "No thank you Cadenza. My sister is more into that stuff then me..." I replied before taking a bite of my taco. Laurence chuckled while Hayden watched in amusement.                                                       "Nonsense (Y/n)! After dinner you can try it on. If you like it, you can keep it." She stated firmly before continuing to eat. I flinched slightly before nodding in defeat.

After dinner Cadenza pulled me towards her room. Laurence shot me an apologetic look before talking with Hayden. I puffed my cheeks out in annoyance as Cadenza sat me down on a spiny chair in her room. She giggled as she ran around the room, grabbing multiple things and matching them together. In the end, she picked three outfits. One was a dull (f/c) tank top, dark blue jean shorts and black and (f/c) striped knee high socks. The next outfit was a black t shirt, yellow suspenders, knee length jean shorts and black and red knee high socks. The last outfit was a white tank top, a baby blue unzipped hoody, faded blue, knee length shorts, and (f/c) calf high socks. My face paled as I pushed my glasses up a bit, fidgeting with my sleeves.         "AHHH!!!! You will look so cute in all of these! You need to try them on!" Cadenza squealed. I shook my head no frantically and put my arms in a 'X' over my chest.                                                         "No thanks Cadenza! They show too much skin! I've never worn a tank too before and I never leave the house without my hoody!" I exclaimed quietly. Cadenza giggled and tugged at my arm. "At least keep them! They might come in handy one day!" She pleaded. I sighed and nodded in defeat as Cadenza cheered and put the outfits away. She then dragged my back towards Laurence and Hayden. They were playing guitar hero, Hayden was on the drums while Laurence was on the guitar. Cadenza clapped her hands together while she grabbed the mic and began singing, earning extra points. I smiled slightly and sat on the couch quietly, watching the three have fun.

After a couple hours, Laurence and Cadenza walked into Laurence's room, dragging me behind them. Laurence sat down on the bed while Cadenza handed me a pair of pj's.                       "You can wear these for tonight. We will all be sleeping in Laurence's room because I don't trust him to be all alone with a cute girl like you." She stated. I puffed my cheeks out.                                   "I'm not cute." I mumbled before taking the pj's. Cadenza pointed towards the bathroom and Laurence sighed, mumbling something to himself. I quickly got changed into the pj's and put my hoody on over the of the shirt before walking back to Laurence's room. Cadenza sighed when she saw me in my hoody but ignored it. They both were changed as well and getting into sleeping bags. I took my glasses off and placed them next to my sleeping bag before drifting off to sleep.
