Warning. Long chapter.

Vylad's POV:

I yawned and stretched. It was almost 5 and (Y/n) still hasn't come out of the bathroom. All the guys seemed a bit worried. Dante was playing a game with Laurence, Travis and Garroth, and Zane and Aaron were listening to music. I put my drawing book down and walked towards the bathroom door quietly. I knocked softly and put my ear to the door. I hope she is ok...                       "(Y/n)? Are you ok?" I asked. I heard a small shuffle as the door openEd, making me fall.                   "Woo!!!! I got you Vylad!~" She cheered childishly, sticking her tongue out and giggling.                   "You got me (Y/n). But, why were you in the bathroom for hours?" I asked as (Y/n) helped me back to my feet. She giggled and pulled her phone and a blue 3DS out of her sleeve.                            "I was listening to music and playing Mario Cart. I lost track of time." She replied before climbing onto my back. I held her legs and walked back into the living room. Everyone looked at us, relief filled their expressions before the guys glared at me. (Y/n) giggled happily and fell backwards, her hands barely touching the ground. I let go of her legs and she flipped back onto the ground, her hoody and shirt coming up slightly to reveal dark marks covering her stomach. What was that...? Did anyone else see that? I shrugged it off and sat next to Travis, putting my book on the table. (Y/n) collapsed on the couch next to Cadenza and gave her a smile. Cadenza smiled back.           "Nice to see you again Cadenza." (Y/n) said playfully, bowing slightly. Cadenza laughed and curtsied as Ms. Pink and Laurence's dad, Hayden ran into the room.                                                           "We have great news!!!!" Hayden cheered happily, gaining everyone's attention.                                 "The competitions start tomorrow!!!! Each group will sing a couple songs and do one group dance and one duet. With singing, we need a solo, a group and a duet." Ms. Pink stated.

Your POV:

I yawned and stretched before glancing at the clock. 4:35... Figures... Karma just isn't on my side today... I rolled off the bed, careful not to disturb Cadenza, before walking to my bag. I grabbed the outfit we planed and walked into the bathroom, having a quick shower and doing my hair into two braids. Once I was done, I put my hoody over top and walked into the kitchen, getting everything out to make pancakes.

After a couple minutes, the pancakes were ready. I quickly put them on plates, set the table and walked towards our room with two pots. I giggled evilly and slammed the pots together loudly.   "WAKE UP!!!! I MADE PANCAKES!!!!" I yelled, making everyone jump and look at me surprised. I giggled and gave them a peace sign before running back to the table. Hayden and Ms. Pink were already sitting down and eating. Ms. Pink was wearing a baby blue, calf length dress with a violet belt, silver flats and a silver headband with the Phoenix Drop High symbol. Hayden was wearing a baby blue v neck with the Phoenix Drop High symbol on the left side of his shirt, faded blue jeans, and silver running shoes. I smiled and sat down next to Ms. Pink, eating my pancakes. What's happening to me? It's only been about a month of grade nine, and I've opened up so much... I have eight real friends, good grades, a family... And only a couple bully's.... I've changed so much... And I think I like this change... I'm becoming more happy and enthusiastic... Something I haven't been since I was taken to the orphanage.... But... All this could disappear in a second if I showed them the markings... Not everyone is as awesome as Cadenza and except me... But they are my friends... They won't hurt me... Not again... No... These guys aren't like that....                                                                                                                                                                                            "(Y/n)!!! (Y/n)!!!" I blinked and looked up to see Dante in my face. He smiled and winked.                         "What?" I asked, looking around the table. Zane signed and rolled his eyes and continued eating as Dante sat back down in his seat. I shrugged it off and looked down at my plate to see my pancakes gone. I looked back over at Dante to see him eating more pancakes. He looked up at me and stuck his tongue out before continuing to eat. I laughed evilly inwardly before standing up and walking towards Dante, everyone watching me as I put my face next to his.                             "You know Dante... It's not nice to steal other people's pancakes." I whispered as I took the plate of pancakes quietly. Dante's face lit up. As I giggled and ran back to my seat, stuffing the pancakes in my mouth. Cadenza and I high fived as Dante sat their for a moment, registering what happened. The other guys laughed and continued eating as Dante ranted in about pancakes.

Once we were all done eating, the others went to go change into their outfits. I took my hoody off and hung it up on a chair as Cadenza walked out happily. She was wearing a knee length, baby blue dress with a silver belt, purple flats, and a purple headband with the Phoenix Drop High symbol on it. We hugged and waited a couple more minutes before the guys came out. Zane was wearing a baby blue hoody with the PDH symbol on the back, faded blue jeans, purple running shoes and a baby blue mask thing. Aaron, Dante, Travis, Laurence, Garroth and Vylad were wearing a baby blue v neck with the PDH symbol on the back, faded blue jeans, and purple running shoes. Ms. Pink clapped happily and laughed.                                                                                       "You all look amazing!!! Thanks Cadenza for making the outfits!" She exclaimed.                                 "It was no problem. I'm glad everything fits everyone!" Cadenza replied, smiling. Ms. Pink nodded as we all walked out of the hotel, heading towards the large indoor stage that the competitions were held.

"Are you all ready? Do you all know what your singing and dancing?" Ms. Pink asked.                         "Yeah Ms. Pink. We all know. Now go sit down with Hayden." Aaron said, pushing Ms. Pink slightly. She nodded and gave us a thumbs up before walking towards her seat. Cadenza smiled and linked arms with me as we all walked back stage. When we got there, I could see Nathan and Tyler, along with their school, and many other groups. I nervously bit my nail and pushed my glasses up as we walked threw the crowd to our area. We all sat down in a circle.                             "Ok. So who is performing first out of all the schools?" Garroth and Laurence asked.                               "Well... The school's performances will be mixed up, so we don't all go out at the same time. But, I think Nathan and Tyler's group will go first since their team won last year." I replied.                   "Ugh. I hate those guys." Zane mumbled, glaring at the ground.                                                                        "Yeah..." Travis and Vylad said, sighing. I signed as well, for what reason? I don't really know.         "Heya guys! Nice to see you again!" I turned around to see Kat. She smiled and I jumped up, hugging her happily. Kat giggled and hugged back as the orange haired guy walked over.                      "Hey Kat. Is this the (Y/n) you keep talking about?" He asked, smiling slightly as Kat nodded. The boy put his hand out and I nervously took it. "Hi! My name is Alex, Kat's best friend! We are the hosts for the competitions!" He said happily, laughing. Kat laughed before doing a peace sign.     "Well (Y/n) and team, we need to go start the competitions. Good luck!" Kat exclaimed before they disappeared in a flash of orange and blue.

"Our first performance is by O'kassis Prep's whole group! So let's hear a big cheer for O'kassis Prep!" Kat exclaimed happily, throwing her hands in the air and spinning as the crowd cheered. Nathan and Tyler walked on stage towards the mic's with a very pretty girl with green hair and dark green eyes. Bobby was standing with a electric guitar while others were in other instruments. Alex clapped as well as Kat handed him her mic.                                                                       "I'm pretty sure you al know the rules, but for everyone that is new, cheating and threatening other teams is not excepted. If teams do cheat or threaten, they will be disqualified. You don't need to get along with everyone perfectly, but fighting during the competitions is not aloud. As for the audience! You need to clapp and cheer as loud as you can and support your favourite school! The judges, AKA Kat and I, will be judging the teams on talent, support, team work, and how loud the audience cheers. Now, without further ado, O'kassis Prep!" Alex announced before the two disappeared again, making the crowd clapp and cheer. Nathan glanced at the curtains, his eyes landing on me before he turned away, smirking. He winked at the audience.                         "Hello Fox Town!!!! My name is Nathan and this is my twin brother, Tyler! And this beautiful lady here is Isabelle! For our first song, we will be singing 'Closer'!" Nathan announced, making the crowd go wild. Tyler chuckled as Isabelle giggled, smiling flirtily. Their music started up and the three began.

When they were done, the three bowed before walking off stage with the rest of their team. They walked passed our team as they went back to their spots. Nathan and Tyler winked at me, Bobby smirked and wiggled his eyebrows while Isabelle glared at me. I heard some of they guys scoff while others growled. I pushed my glasses up and played with the hem of my dress. I was wearing a similar dress to Cadenza's, but it was a silver knee length dress, a blue belt, a blue jacket with the PDH symbol on it, purple shoes, a purple headband with the PDH symbol on it, and black, calf length tights.                                                                                                                                    "Next up is a new team, coming here for the very first time... It's Phoenix Drop High!!!" Kat exclaimed. Cadenza winked at me as we walked off stage. I walked towards the piano with Garroth, Laurence and Travis went to some cello's while Dante, Vylad, Zane and Aaron went to the mic's.

We all bowed as the crowd clapped wildly. Kat and Alex appeared out if nowhere and smiled.       "Good job Phoenix Drop! A mixture of four differant songs put into one!!! That will be hard to beat!" Alex exclaimed. Kat nodded in agreement as the crowd got quiet.                                                       "Your voices go very we'll together, and the music in the background was in sync and peaceful. It went very well with the songs you boys sang and you could tell how hard you all worked." Kat said before winking at me. "Very well done."

We went back to our area to see Bobby, Isabelle, Nathan and Tyler waiting for us.                                       "Well done you guys. You might acctually have a chance at wining!" Isabelle sneered.                       "Thanks! You guys did well as well!" I replied shyly, not noticing the sarcasm in her voice.               "What do you four want?" Dante asked as Travis put a hand on my shoulder.                                             "We just want to warn you guys. No one has ever beat us. And it's going to stay that way. No matter the cost. Understand? Now if you don't want anyone to get hurt, you will not do any better than what you just did." Bobby stated, crossing his arms. The boys glared at them as they laughed and walked away. Cadenza ran over to us as we sat back down.                                                        "Great performance you guys! You all did amazing!!! The crowd loved you!!! We have a chance at winning!!!" She exclaimed, hugging me. I flinched slightly before prying myself from her.                 "Of course we will win! I promised Aph that I would win for her and Sylvana!!!" I replied, giggling slightly as I fiddled with the necklace Aph gave me before I left.
