---Atif's POV ---
I was busy working on something when someone knocked on my door.
"Come in!" I said.
"Hey," Inaya said.
I recognized her voice right away and looked up.
"Hey. Come and sit," I said putting my stuff away.
"So apparently you got married," she said.
"Relax babe. It's not she means anything to me," I said.
"Better not. So when will you divorce her?" She asked.
"Not so soon, but eventually. Plus by-law we have to be married for a year," I said.
"Ugh! Whatever. Just promise me you won't love her," she said.
"I don't see myself being able to love her," I said.
"Good," she said.
And as she was also a co-worker we got to work on the biggest presentation I had to give.
----Shehry's POV ----
"Kuri de gai jawab tod ke (x2)
Kehndi mera fiancé l.A aa.
Koi sohni jahi mili ta daseo....(x2)
Pehli shad gai yaar hun vehle aa..," I sang along to the radio.
But it's true. The girl I was with just told me that her fiancé was in LA and so technically, yaar hun vehle aa.
I parked my car and got out. I had to pick up some stuff for dinner.
I was looking around and had to do a double take.
Ok, she's beautiful!
How can I make conversation with her?
I went and reached for whatever she was about to reach.
"Oh. Sorry, go ahead," I said.
"Thank you," she said.
"These are my guilty pleasure," I said.
"Same! I know it's bad for you, but I can't help it," she said.
"Agreed," I said.
What the hell is this even? I have no idea!
"I'm Nida, by the way," she said.
"Shehry," I said.
"Well, I'll see you around," she said.
"Sure," I said.
"Bye," she said and left.
I put the packet away after she left. Not going to buy something that I have no idea in what it even is.
