---Shurti's POV ---
I had gone out today for work purposes.
Atif told me he wanted me as the co-CEO of the company but I declined it, because relationships that have work mixed in them don't end well.
Thankfully, he was understanding of the situation.
On the bright side of things I was also given a huge promotion at work and worked as the chair of my department now.
I got to my office and gave all my stuff to my boss.
It took me til evening to get it all done.
A few months had passed by so I was finally able to go out for maternity leave.
I went to my car and was about get in when I saw Inaya.
I just shut the door and went to deal with this b*tch.
She looked at bit suprised to see me.
"Can I help you?" She asked.
"Actually, you can. Stay out of our life, because I swear to God if you try to play any games with us I will not take a second to screw up your life," I said.
"I'm not scared of you," she said.
"You should be. My friend's are lawyers. Remember that's one reason your divorce trick didn't go through," I said.
"It was just the computer being stupid," she said and I laughed at that.
"Actually, you little b*tch. It wasn't. Atif had met up with Nivar's wife and told him everything so he made sure that the divorce never ever went through. Also, the copies of the house, you couldn't do anything about that either, because he knew about that as well," I said.
"Whatever. There's more than 1 lawyer," she said.
"Oh, he's warned them all about you. Now try to do something and it'll come back and blow up in your face," I said.
She just looked at me suprised. I smirked at that and left from there feeling satisfied as ever.
"Babe! I'm home and if you scare me, I'll slap you!" I yelled walking in.
I felt him put his hands on my eyes.
"Keep 'em closed," he said.
"What is going on?" I asked.
I felt the cool air hit me and knew we were outside.
"Open!" He said as he had seated me down.
"I know you hate going out these days so I brought the going out feeling here. What do you think?" He asked.
I couldn't even reply. It was just so perfect!
"I love it!" I said.
"Thank God," he said.
"You didn't have to do this," I said.
"I wanted to," he said. "Plus it's really hard to make quiche. What kind of carving is that?"
I laughed at that.
The table was set with almost everything I had been craving for the past two months.
"I don't know. I just have been wanting it for the last two weeks," I said.
"Well, I just hope that it turned out right. I had to use a cookbook for beginners," he said.
I started chocking because I laughed at what he said.
"Hey, you okay?" He asked getting up.
I nodded and quickly had something to drink.
"That was just hilarious," I said.
"You were chocking and your saying it's hilarious? I swear you were dropped on your head as a child," he said.
"Sh*t, how'd you find out?" I asked joking.
"Ah-ha! So you were," he said and I started laughing.
The night just carried on filled with us talking and laughing at majority of the time.
Here and there we'd end up saying something that we would want our kid to do or not do.
The whole time I was thinking about how lucky I am.
