"Ok so fires going and now all that's left is to start roasting those marshmallows," said Dan proud of himself as we reached the bonfire. "Ok sounds great," I smiled as I grabbed my stick. Dan sat down on a log next to the fire and I sat next to the bucket on the other side. We sat there talking about life and anime. A couple hours went by and we finished two bags of marshmallows! Everything was so relaxing and call. Nothing but the crackle of the fire and the tapping of our phones. I looked down at the bucket. Suddenly I noticed (Y/n)'s face in the water and I screamed. "Phil what happened," asked Dan confused. "Nothing I just thought I saw something... I'm good. Maybe I just had too much sugar," I said trying to seem casual and Dan shrugged and went back to impaling marshmallows on his stick. "(Y/n) are you in there," I whispered. "Yes," she whispered back. 0why are you in the bucket," I asked quietly. "I freaked out," she sighed. "I guess your experience with people hasn't been the greatest," I whispered. "No kidding. Though you're ok. I kinda don't mind being with you. This is kinda nice. I've never felt the warmth of a fire like this. Honestly I'm having a good time. It's nice to be around kind faces," she replied. "Well thank you. Must be lonely," I said. "Yeah. I enjoy the company even if I'm in a bucket," she said quietly. I continued to whisper with her for a while till she said, "excuse me if this is a little weird, but I really like you Phil," she smiled. Before I could respond Dan picked up the bucket. "Let's go inside. The bugs are getting bad and I'm getting tired," he smiled as he got into position to toss the water onto the fire.

"NO DAN!!! STOP DON'T!!!!" I yelled slapping the bucket out of his hands. "What is your problem," snapped Dan as the bucket hit the ground and the water spilled everywhere. "(Y/n)!!!" I yelled as I fell to my knees. "What are you on about!? And why is the water not soaking into the ground," Said Dan confused. I looked and he was right. The water just sat on the surface. "(Y/n)?" I asked as I poked the water and it clinched and slowly began to slosh away. "Phil!?" Yelled Dan jumping back. The watcher then began to take shape. (Y/n) was stood in front of me. "You tried to kill me," she said slowly. "No that's not it I promise!" I panicked. Yet she didn't have the reaction I expected. She cried. "Phil why is there a crying girl made out of water standing there," asked Dan slowly stepping behind me. "She's probably scared," I whispered. "Then help her," Dan snapped. "Uh ok I'll do something," I panicked as I walked up to her. I hesitated, but I hugged her. She felt way more solid than before. She didn't even feel wet.

"It will be ok. I promise. Let's get you back to your lake," I whispered. She shook her head and she tried to stop crying. "That's not it. I don't want to go back! Soon I'm gunna die there. I know it. I'm going to die all alone," she cried. "Oh my gosh, listen it's going to be fine. You love your home and I'm sure you'll find a friend to stay," I assured. "Then stay," she said into my shoulder. "Excuse me," I said being caught off guard. "STAY WITH ME," she screamed and I looked back at Dan who had no clue what was going on.

"(Y/n) I can't. You have your home and I have mine. Please understand," I tried to explain. "Please Phil," she whispered. "I can't, I would take you with me, but I don't exactly live near a body of water. I have a bathtub, but it's a little small," I said and she let go. She wiped her face and sighed. "So if I became human I can come home with you," she asked. "Uh I guess," I said unsure. "I'll try," she said as her body began to glow. When it faded she looked the same. "I guess I can't," she said sadly. "Hey I'll come visit you! I promise," I smiled. "You won't forget," she smiled back. "I won't forget," I replied. "Never?" She asked. "Never," I answered. I held her hand and I lead her to her lake. She walked in and looked back at me. "See you again," she called. "See you soon," I waved and she slowly sunk in and disappeared. "WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED," Yelled Dan wanting answers. "I'm honestly not sure, but I think I just made a new friend," I smiled before I turned and walked back towards the cabin.

"I have questions Phillip," called Dan chasing after his.
