Aunty Aisha's pov

     " What's going on here and why is your cousin lying unconscious", I asked kainene but she didn't respond.

I had witnessed the scene a little,I just can't believe I married a monster but thank God am processing the divorce.

I looked at kainene, she was so weak, her eyes blood shot with tears streaming down her cheeks as she curled up beside the staircase.

" What happened to my son", I asked again in annoyance.

"It's ..... it's", she tried to speak but she just fell unconscious, I called her but she didn't even respond.

   I ran upstairs to get something to cover her and take her to the hospital.

    Definitely not this monster's hospital.

I got a wrapper and covered her and tried carrying her to the hospital but I couldn't do that alone so I tried waking Daniel up but he didn't wake up, I tried sprinkling water on his face and I noticed he jerked up with little pains.

"Mom!",  He said hugging me

"Where is kainene"

"We need to take her to the hospital, she is unconscious", I said turning to get the car key.

I got the key as I and Daniel carried her to the car.

We put her in the back seat and drove to a nearby hospital.

                         Daniel's pov
    
                        At the hospital

      Kainene was rushed into the emergency ward as she was unconscious on the other hand am worried sick about mom but I couldn't talk to her now cause I think she knows about everything that has been happening to kainene.

"Son", I heard mom call me.

"Yes mom", I said shaking.

How long have you know about what your dad has been doing to kainene cause I know he didn't start it today", she said looking very serious.

"I just knew about the rape part today"

"I noticed that kainene does drug cause I saw it in her room the day I entered when she wasn't around"

"I felt so angry with her and decided to ask her" i paused to see my mom's reaction but she her face was expressionless so I continued.

"I confronted her today because I never expected it from her then she told me dad raped her and I think she did it to try to forget whatever was happening", I said and I noticed mom crying as she sat down on a nearby bench.

"I can't believe I married a monster"

"If anything happens to kainene to kainene, I won't forgive him"she said amidst sobs as she hugged me.

"Son, I filled for a divorce", mom said and I just nodded.

"You should call the police", she said wiping the tears streaming down.

I understand mom perfectly and I hate to see her like this but that monster of a father must go to jail.
