It's been  two months since uncle obi was sentenced and since Felisha's death.

   It's been 3 months since I heard from Lydia.

Waec ended already and am just bored at home since am not the book type.

It's really been a long time and I really miss Lydia.

I heard something vibrate beside me and I turned to see it's my phone.

  It's on silent sef.

"Hello, it's sarki", the person over the phone said.

"Sarki, please what do you want", I asked feeling slightly irritated.

  He laughed softly and this got me more irritated.

" I mean no harm, it's just that I want to tell you something", he said and I noticed his voice changed into a nervous one.

"Lydia got married last two months", he dropped the bombshell and I suddenly felt weak.

"What!", I asked.

"You heard me right", he said and his voice didn't change.

"Please she needs to talk to you", sarki said fast.

"Ka...I...n..ene", Lydia said slowly.

"Yes dear", I answered.

"Am his fifth wife", Lydia said crying.

" Everything will be fine", I said calming her down.

"Kainene, it won't be", she said crying.

   I could also feel tears flow down my cheeks.

"It will be", I reassured her just to be positive.

"He doesn't respect me nor my feelings nor what I want", she said still crying.

"It's okay", I said as the only thing I can do is to reassure her.

"You keep saying it's okay, an pregnant"

" How is it going to be okay, am pregnant at sixteen"

"Am still a teenager for crying out loud am meant to be in the university by now", she shoutey while crying.

"I hate this place, everything here disgusts me", she said.

I was so confused at everyword she uttered, what's going to happen to lydia, she is like a sister to me.

"It will be.....", I was cut short by sarki.

"She dropped the phone and has been crying uncontrollably", he said weakly.

  I don't know what to do again.

Why does life treat people this way.

"I don't want her to cry", sarki said and I could feel he is already crying.

"All will be fine, I assure you", I said and he just mumbled 'okay' and the line went dead
