"she died",I said as tears gathered in my eyes.

"My dad is man of his own principles and if he says something,he does it",I said and wiped the tears that we're already coming down.

"Though he is educated and rich,he doesn't like going against what his culture demands",I said and chuckled.

"My dad still believes in that African mentality that girls belong to the house, cooking and producing children", I paused and noticed kainene was so interested in what I am saying.

"Go on,am listening",she said and I continued.

"Five years ago,when my sister was sixteen about to clock seventeen,he made her marry that monster who caused everything that happened to her",I said and looked up to kainene for the uptenth time and I noticed she had that am so sorry look.

"It's not your fault na",I said smiling weakly and she just nodded.

"She got married to alahaji musa,one of the wealthiest and richest business tycoon in abujawho had a bout five wives,my sister was the sixth one",I said and let out a light chuckle.

"He married her against her will cause Aaliyah wanted to become a medical doctor but her ambitions, dreams and everything she wished for vanished in  a twinkle of an eye",I said and wiped my tears.

"He made us loose contact with her and since we didn't know where she lived with her so called husband,my mom tried her best to convince dad but all to no avail dad was adamant",I said as fresh tears flowed freely from my eyes.

"Sarki grew cold and shut everybody out because he was more fond of her",I said and smiled weakly amidst tears.

"After about two years I didn't know how but mom found out everything about her and I must say it was better we didn't know anything because we discovered that the man raped her constantly,beats her and all other forms of physical abuse",I said and let out a sigh.

"We tried convincing dad again but he didn't give us listening ears,we simply told her to endure but that didn't last long as she told us she was pregnant,there was nothing mom could do about it but we constantly prayed to Allah,mom never missed any prayer",I said and displayed a weak smile on my face.

"She had serious complications during child birth which she couldn't survive cause she was a teenager and at the same time going through emotional trauma, she died during child birth and the baby followed few hours after she died", I said and let tears flowed freely just then kainene pulled me into a hug and we stayed like that for close to ten minutes.
