"Hey buddy, I wasn't expecting you to be back now", I said as he moved closer to hug me but I pushed him backwards.

   What's wrong with me.

"Woah, it's not a big deal na just an innocent hug"he said looking surprised.

"Hey son why are you still at the door", I heard a familiar voice ask as I raised my head.

         Uncle obi!

      I just shifted backwards as the memory of what he did to me came back fresh.

I ran upstairs with tears running down my cheeks.

  I so hate this man.
 

"You hate who?", I heard Daniel ask

"Oh, did I say that loud?",I asked forcing a smile.

He just let out a light chuckle and nodded.

" Oh it's no one in particular, just forget", I said and I guess he noticed the sadness in my voice.

"Did anyone hurt you", he asked looking very sincere.

" No", I replied bluntly.

So why are there tears in your eyes", he asked moving closer to sit beside me but I shifted backwards.

    He just let out a sight.

" Why are you home, I thought school is not on break"I asked.

"There is a riot going on in school so I had to come back", he replied still looking worried.

"You should go and have your rest "
"It must have been stressful for you", I Said

"No cause we are going to the mall"

"Freshen up now and come downstairs", he said pushing me towards the bathroom.

"You are not driving me ooo", I said recalling the last time he drove.

"I am better now", he said from the door.

"Indeed", I replied  laughing.

                      Daniel's pov

         As I got back I could swear that something is wrong with her, I could see she was really worried about something but refused to say.

     She is a sister I never had and I really love her as that sister, I really can't stand seeing her like that.

    I will make sure I find out what is wrong with her.
