As the two continued to stare at each other, the wolf finally notices his hand was still gripping on the girl's shoulder. The wolf gasped before lets go of Ella and took a step back. "I'm sorry, it's just...I-I didn't know who was walking here at this time and.." The wolf stuttered with his head hanging down. "Oh no, it's okay," Ella said, waving her hands like it wasn't a big deal. "Why are you out here?" The wolf asked as he looked at the girl. "Oh, I was just returning to my dorm room," Ella replied with a smile. However, the wolf saw that Ella's crystal blue eyes were puffy, and her rosy cheeks were stained from her tears. "Are you okay?" The wolf asked with concern. Ella was confused at his question at first until the wolf used one of his hands to wipe a stray tear away from the girl's left eye.

"Oh, That? That's just allergies. You know since summer is coming and-"

"Are you Ella?" The wolf asked, making the red-haired girl stop. Ella gawked at the wolf until she let a giggle. "Oh, is it because I'm the only human here named Ella?" She said with a dry tone. "No." The wolf answered, making Ella look at him with confusion. "Its because Tem wouldn't stop talking about you." The wolf said Ella's breath was held. This wolf knew who Tem was...Does that mean he was also Tem's friend? "I'm sorry that I have to ask this now but, What's your name?" Ella asked with her blue eyes shining thanks to the light of the moon and stars. The wolf just gazed at the girl's eyes 'Are all Humans eyes that blue?' The wolf thought.

"Legosi..." The wolf answered as his tail start waging back and forth. "Nice to meet you, Legosi-san," Ella said before she gave him one of her beautiful smiles. Then suddenly Legosi smelled something...it was the scent of honey and roses...and it was comforting.

The next day, Ella and Legosi are now at Tem's memorial. Ella carefully placed a bouquet of beautiful daisies on the floor as she and Legosi got on to their knees. 'Tem, I hope that wherever you are, your okay. I promise I'll find the person responsible for this and make sure that person won't hurt anyone else.' Ella promised quietly. While Legosi was remembering the last time he talked to Tem.

~Flashback~

Tem was looking down at the love letter he worked so hard on for his first love Els. Tem sighs in disappointment just before he puts the letter back in his locker and closes it. Legosi was on the other side looking at Tem with curiosity. "Putting it back yet again," Legosi said with a bored tone. Tem got startled by Legosi's direct comment, "The timing felt off. It's fine! When the time comes I'll tell her how I feel about her. I can't let Ella down after she gave me a big speech." Tem said with a smile. "Ella? You mean the Human?" Legosi asked he has heard of the rumors about the girl. "Yeah, she's my Best Friend! I really want you to meet her, she's a little shy but she's a great friend." Tem said with a bright smile.

~Flashback End~

'Tem, I've told her for you and I met Ella. You were right...' Legosi eyes wandered to Ella who kept her eyes closed. When Ella opened her eyes again she saw that Legosi was staring at her. The girl's cheeks started to have this burning sensation that made her feel even shyer. She didn't know what to do, so she just gave the wolf a small smile. That smile must have been contagious because Legosi was smiling as well. 'She is shy.' Legosi thought to himself.

"Ah! It's Louis!"

The two turned their heads around to see a tall red deer wearing the school's uniform and holding a bouquet in his hand. The red deer kneed beside Ella as he placed his bouquet next to her's. The two knew who this deer was but a little differently. 'Looks like Louis-san hasn't changed a bit.' Ella thought as she remembered the time when they first met. They were both so very small and shy of each other. Ella giggled at the memory before she turned her attention to her new wolf friend "Legosi-kun," Ella spoke making the male look at her. "I'm gonna go to my club now if I don't Haru-chan will chew me out for being late, I'll see you later," Ella said with a smile before she got up. "Okay..." Legosi muttered as he watched the girl walk down the halls. "You shouldn't stare at a lady for too long. It's considered rude" Legosi turned his head swiftly to see Louis was giving the wolf a strict look. It was going to be a very interesting day for the young wolf.

Ella was soon just outside of the girl's dorm rooms and she finally found Haru. "There you are!" Ella said with her hands on her hips. A snow-white dwarf rabbit turned her attention away from the flowers she was watering and towards the human girl. "Ah! Ella-chan, where were you yesterday?" Haru asked as she went back to watering the flowers. Ella grabbed a spare water can and started watering with the rabbit. "I just needed time by myself yesterday...I'm sorry Haru-chan." The girl apologized. Haru looked at the girl with pity look on her face, she knew the alpaca that was killed the other day was Ella's best friend. "Hey, its okay Ella. Listen, if you need time for yourself just let me know." Haru said with a smile that made Ella smile as well.

Suddenly, a bunch of notebooks fell on the flower bed that made the girls jump in fright. They both looked up to see two girls laughing at them. A dark grey cat and a brown squirrel were laughing from a balcony "Sorry, are you both okay? The wind blew our stuff out of our hands!" The squirrel said with a sly smile. "You two are okay, aren't you?" The cat asked with fake concern that turned into a devious smirk. "Why don't you get one of Haru's boys to help you out." The cat said before they laughed at the two girls who just sighed in exhaustion.

Ella looked up at the laughing hyenas with a glare. "Will you two Hyenas give it a rest! You acting like children and its bothersome!" Ella shouted but stopped when she felt a small furry hand on her wrist. Ella looked down a Haru; who was shaking her head. "I'm fine Ella-chan," Haru said with a smile before the rabbit glared at the other girls. "There's nothing they can do to hurt me!" Haru yells before she and Ella saw something big being pushed over the balcony.

It was a MATRESS!!!

Haru and Ella quickly dodged before the mattress could hit either of them. "Why don't you and the freak take that to another room." The cat said as they laughed and then disappeared. All Ella and Haru could do were stare up at where those girls were in disbelief. "Idiots" Haru muttered while Ella just nodded in agreement.

Ella and Haru were both carrying the mattress with the fallen textbooks on top. Of course, do to the uneven dispersion of height and strength between the two. It took longer than expected to get the mattress up three flights of stairs. Once they go into Haru's room, they saw one of her roommates sitting on her bed and doing a crossword puzzle. They finally put the mattress on the bed Haru waked over with irritation on her face. "Hey, Sally, if you were here, you could've stopped them!" Haru scolded while Ella was fixing Haru's bed. "That girl's pretty mad, you know. You should stop being so stubborn." Sally said without even looking up at Haru. "It wasn't even her fault Sally!" Ella quickly defended. "It doesn't matter now, you want to eat with us?" Haru asked the chipmunk. "With the two of you? I'll pass." Sally said while Ella just glares at her. "Haru I'll get the food while you find a place for us to sit okay," Ella said as she dusted off her skirt. "Okay, I'll meet you down there in a minute," Haru said just before Ella went out the door.

It was already sunset, Ella and Haru were outside of the cafeteria eating their dinner. Ella chose the herbivore meal today because it was her favorite dish; vegetable soup with a bread roll and apple juice. The reason why they were eating outside of the cafeteria is that everyone wouldn't let Haru sit with them due to rumors. Yet, it didn't matter to them, "At least the sunset is pretty..." Ella said before she was slipping the rest of her soup. All Haru did was nod her head in agreement as she was eating her meal. Until another rabbit came towards the two girls with the laughing hyenas. This rabbit was a harlequin rabbit but her fur color split in half from her head down. Most of the time Ella would quietly call this rabbit two-faced. "Impressive, you manage to keep the little freak wrapped around your little finger, while the whole schools against you." Two-faced said with a smirk. "It's dangerous don't you think, a predation incident just happened here, and a rabbit of your character is all alone with the freak," Two-faced said making Haru and Ella stop eating.

Ella and Haru got up from the edge "If you have time to spread rumors about me, why don't you make things up with your boyfriend while you're at it." Haru said with a smirk. Two-faced and her goons looked at the dwarf rabbit in skepticism. "Huh? What makes you think you can say that? You're the reason why we-"

"He was the one who kissed her, Two-face." Ella snapped with a glare that made the girl look at her with fear. "If you would just shut up for at least half a minute then you would know how much of a scum bag that boyfriend of yours is!" Ella yelled while the harlequin rabbit looked at the red-haired girl with pure hatred. "Now if you will excuse us," Ella said, before Two-faced tripped Ella's foot, making the girl fall over the edge and on the ground. "Ella-chan!" Haru shouted in concern before she ran passed the girls to get to Ella. Then suddenly Two-Faced splashed water all over Ella, soaking her white uniform and red hair. "Listen here, you little freak, we were the same breed couple of the endangered harlequin species. And your little friend destroyed a pure breed couple, not that the last member of an extinct species could understand the importance of that." Two-Faced said with a sneer. "Now, why don't you be a dear and join your ancestors in heaven," Two-Faced said before she and her followers left Ella and Haru alone.

"Are you sure, you'll be fine by your self?" Haru asked on the other side of the stall. Currently, the two are in the girls' restroom with Ella's damp uniform hanging over on the stall's door. "I'll be fine Haru-chan, I already told that to Papa's guards," Ella said with a sigh. All Haru did was just sighed at her friend's stubbornness. "I'll see you in the morning. Good night." Haru said with a grateful smile. "Goodnight," Ella replied before Haru went through the exit door.

For a few hours, Ella just sat there waiting for her clothes to dry. Ella got up from her seat and she touched the damped white cloth. 'It's dry enough to get to the dorms.' she thought to herself before she slipped on her uniform. Once she left the stall Ella noticed her reflection in the mirror. The human girl walked towards the sink and took in every single detail of her appearance as she thought about the incident from earlier. 'She's right about one thing...I am the last member of my species. Heck, there's no record of human beings left in existence. But I won't let that stop me from living my life!' Ella declared silently to herself.

Ella stepped out of the girl's restroom to see it was already dark. Feeling a slight chill she hugged herself for warmth as she tried her best to stroll through the darkness.

Meanwhile, Legosi was pacing back and forth in front of the Auditorium. 'If anyone finds out, will the Drama Club be disbanded? Will I get suspended?' Legosi frets as he continues his pacing. Why was he here at this late hour one would ask? Well, after Ella left for her club actives Louis asked Legosi, no...more like forced him to stand watch while he helps the stand-in actor for Tem's part. 'Please hurry up, the teachers have been patrolling a lot more since that incident.' Then Legosi heard something in the distance that made him jump. However, he couldn't see where the sound originated from. Until he saw a tiny grasshopper near his foot.

The wolf bends down and carefully picks up the small creature "What are you doing here? I guess the same goes for me." Legosi murmurs. Legosi continues to gaze on the small insect until a familiar aroma caught his nose...The scent of honey and roses.

Ella tried her very best to navigate through the dark but, unfortunately, it appears that her species are not nocturnal.

Legosi knew the smell from anywhere "Ella-"

Then suddenly, Ella tripped over on the low steps of the plaza and fell on the ground. "Ow!" Ella cried out as she slowly got up from the ground. Just below her knees, her legs were scraped up just enough to draw a bit of blood.

Once the scent of blood hit Legosi's nose, it felt like his entire body was on fire. Like something deep inside of him was taking control of his body. A growl escapes from Legosi's lips, alerting Ella as she turned her head towards where the growl came from. The red-haired girl was standing there, shaking like a leaf in the center of the plaza. Her hands clenched on the white fabric of her school uniform. As she stared at the eyes that were once gentle and curious, now filled with hunger and lust. The two stared at each other until Ella took a step backward. Then, Legosi let out a menacing growl that frightened the girl. As she was about to make a run for it, Legosi pounced at Ella. The two spiraled to the ground until Legosi held the girl in his chest. 'Tem...is this how you felt? When you encountered a beast that was about to devour you?'
