True Lies

Zalgo's face cracks into a violent smile. Wiping the blood from his lower lip, he carefully eases himself up. His eyes stay locked onto my whole being, the feeling making my spine shudder ever so slightly. However, I could feel the new strength flowing through me, and the fear was suppressed. Straightening his stance, he gazes at me with a new found wonder. His body, though bruised, moves as if it isn't even scratched. He slowly begins to walk around me, and for some unknown reason, I let him.

"Interesting.... Similar to my own, and yet so very different."

I huff, feeling my eye slightly twitch. I could feel his presence behind me, where he had decided to stop moving. A wing twitches slightly in response, and I hear something calling out to me.

I ignore it.

The feeling of Him shifts, and I easily slide left to dodge a foot from above. He slams into the earth, forming a small crater. A quick twist, and he aims for my back, to which I turn sideways and step back. His hoof barely grazes my gut, and I make no noise or face. My hands are clasped behind my back as I continue this unnerving dodging process.

Well, unnerving for him.

Every move he made, I could feel it.

It was as if I already knew what he was going to do, where he was going to be, and how hard the hit would feel if it made contact with my body.

I make no face to show worry, fear, ease, or entertainment in this little dance of ours.

I wanted him to sweat. To slowly begin to realize he couldn't lay a single finger on me. My eye twitches again, and I feel my breathing hitch slightly. A voice calls to me again, but this time it slightly breaks through.

"Alisa, dang itwakeup!"

This one thing cause me to falter slightly, and I am forced to duck under his swinging arm. Flowing with this motion, I lean back, bracing myself with my arm. A sonic boom forms as my foot connects with Zalgo's bottom jaw. His head snaps up, and he flies a few feet into the air. Swiftly, I am before him and slam my fist into his face. The darkened sky above me cracks with lightning as my skin meets his scaled face.

He is launched backwards, and crashes into my elbow. A crack makes me smile in insanity. The twitch on my eye moves to my ears. Grabbing his throat with my tail, I lift him into the air.

A cackle suddenly escapes me and I slam him into the ground on my right....

Then left...

Then right...

Then left...

I was losing it, and I didn't care. The voice was calling out to me, begging me to gain control again, and I refused. With one last slam, I roar in laughter. Twirling around, I finally release the broken thing and watch it crash against the darkness I created. Lightning crashes behind me, its blue light brightening the area around us. My eyes are wide and the blue smoke flows from them. Despite the pain I inflicted, the thing before me stands, barely shaking. One leg is obviously unusable, but he continues to use it as if it's completely fine.

I grin.

Maybe I couldn't beat him, but...

I can break him

But, he laughs.

Why is he laughing? I frown, and he stops. "I will take my leave, for now, since my job here is done...." I smirk, then grin, then smile. My eyes widen somehow, and I slowly walk towards him. My wings slowly unfold from my back, making me seem larger. "Why? Why not stay for awhile? I'm not done with you yet, and it is very rude to just leave in the middle of a dAncE! After all," I prepare to launch at him, eyes wide with insanity. "The Shadows call for your Blood!"

Before I make contact with him, he's gone, and I chuckle.

Then frown.

Something is behind me.

With ease, I stand straight, but I don't turn around. The thing calls to me, but my eyes start to only see red, but they want to see more.

More red.

More revenge.

More pain.

It's growing closer, it's nearly here. A large, white hand appears on my left.

It softly grabs my shoulder.

......

"Big Mistake."

*Slender's POV*

Before I can react, Alisa turns on me and pain radiates from my gut. I feel the wind blast past me, and I barely send out my tentacles to stop my movement when my back hits a tree. It wasn't as bad as it could have been, but it made the air in my lungs escape. With a groan, I gaze up, and Smile slides to a stop next to me.

The girl was standing there, her tail on the ground before her until it slowly begins to slither behind her body. Her eyes....

Smile says it before I can, and I growl.

"She's snapped!"

After the knowledge of her bloodline, I was afraid this would happen. The power she must hold, it could destroy any of us unless we get to her soon. She has been in this state for a while, so we have a better chance-

I dive to the side in shock as the tree I was against explodes from the impact. She had launched herself with her wings, and her fist had been heading towards my head. I can barely comprehend what I have just seen before she attacks again. Her tail lashes out, then her foot connects with my jaw, and a fist crashes against my gut.

I don't wish to harm her, so I quickly wrap her in my tentacles, making sure her arms, tails, legs, and wings are secure.

"Alisa! Listen to me! You must calm down and focus! He is not here anymore! You're safe!"

I try to get through to her, but my blood runs colder than it already is as she says nothing. Her ears twitch slightly... Then her head drops. It seems that her body has relaxed, but the power from her only grows. When she does speak, it's not her normal voice that makes the noise. It's grating, harsh, and cold.

"Who said I didn't know that already?"

Her arms and wings burst out from her sides, completely ripping my tentacles in half. The pain is excruciating, and I can barely contain the static from my screams. Her hands fly up to her ears as I fall back, Smile there to catch me. Unfortunately, this angers her, and she kicks us both away with ease before falling on her knees. Her hands are tight around her ears as my static continues from the pain. I try to dull it, as Smile was holding back whines with his ears flat against his head. They quickly perk up, and his eyes are glued to Alisa.

Turning towards her as well, I am shocked to see red and blue smoke swirling around her. It flips her hair around as if it was a toy, and the feathers on her wings are getting torn off. Not only that, but I carefully watch her as she continuously tells something, or someone, "Shut up, shut up, shut up, shutupshutupshuTUPSHUTUP! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!"

A final, rage filled roar escapes her as her head snaps up. The smoke, mixed with her feathers, dirt, and debris from the ground, blasts up, completely removing her from view. The sound of the wind drowns out my static, and my pain is suddenly replaced with worry. It feels like an eternity before the world settles. A soft glow slowly covers us, but it's only a soft one as rain starts to brush against my skin.

I turn my gaze back to where Alisa had been, and I feel my stone heart skip a beat at the sight. Laying on the ground, gut moving up and down in a ragged motion, is this white and black wolf-like creature. It's wings are black with red stripes, and missing multiple feathers. The tail is similar to Alisa's, rat-like until the end where a soft, large tuft of white fur protrudes, the ends fading into black. Instead of paws, hooves are at the end of each leg, and the ears are large like a foxes. A little larger in all honesty. It was obvious who it was, but the change left me wary. It wasn't until Smile gave a slight sniff, then nod, did I move closer.

My torn tendrils hang from my back, having retracted into my back as far as they could for now. The pain was radiating, but it wasn't the first time they had been torn. It's the main reason I only used half of them. Carefully, once I'm by her side, I scoop Alisa up into my arms, shifting her wings so they don't get injured anymore. She slightly hisses, and her eye opens. It's blue iris gazes up at me through the slit eyelid. Her voice is soft, as if it had also been injured, and I barely hear her speak.

"S-Slender?"

I quietly hush her, and she closes her eye. Turning to smile, I nod to him, and he begins to lead the way back through the woods to the mansion. I follow close behind. With the young one cradled safely in my arms, I softly whisper to her and she sighs in response.

"Time to go home, child......"

*gasp* I forgot how much I loved making this story. It's nearing the end now, and that was because I didn't have time to right the sequel to it yet....

But if you guys want one...

I could make it a priority, so let me know!

Anyways,
