The Trial of the Broken Bond

*The Girl's POV*

Silence....

Constant silence.... that's all I heard.

No voices...

No friendly barks....

......

Nothing.

I have been sitting like this for.... thirty minutes? No, the pain in my chest says longer. Maybe an hour, yeah that's it.

Ah, who cares. I'm just talking to myself so I can remember I can hear stuff still.

.........

My eyes hurt. I don't think I have blinked yet, have I? Of course I have. They are just irritated from the tears. Yeah, just irritated.

Not lonely.

My eyes can't be lonely, they will always have each other.

Side by side, exploring the world together...

Forever...

But not me.. I'm alone.

Again.

The silence, it screamed at me. Shouting at me in a constant reminder that I was alone. I had no one. Marble was gone...

Her friendly bark.

Her voice always reasuring me in the darkest of times.

Her stories of flowing grass on the rolling hills were everyone was free.

Gone....

All gone....

.......

It's cold in here. I'm shaking now, it's really cold.

My fingers are numb...

My fingers... their never alone..

They have each other...

Together forever....

Roaming the world....

*Jeff's POV*

She's still sitting in the same position as yesterday. She hasn't spoken a single word and she just... sits there! Staring at the wall constantly!

She HAS eyelids, and yet, they haven't moved yet! Not a single blink. Not a sliver of movement. The only way we know she is still alive is she started shaking when E.J. lowered the temperature in the mansion to see if she would react. Of course, Smile forced him to raise it again at the sight of the shivering girl.

He seems really uptight since that other dog died. Can a dog even get uptight?

Oh well. He's never been this way before, and lately it's starting to worry me.

Yeah, me. Jeff the Killer is worried about his little pooch.

I shake my head. Gah, who am I kidding? It was another dog like him! He must feel horrible and wanting revenge. He might kill humans, but never his own kind. Cats, squirrels, rabbits, even kids!

Looking at the door, I see him still laying there, fast asleep were Slender was the night the dog, Marble, died. He hasn't been back since then.

I smirk at the thought of where he is.

Turning away from the hidden window that shows the girls room, I head towards the living room, needing someone to bother since Slender wasn't here.

Ah, as usual, I spot Ben sitting on the couch playing his games. "Hey, Elf boy!" I shout, earning a controller to the head as I approach the couch. "Now you can't play!" I laugh, shutting my mouth as I watch him continue to play the game with nothing in his hands. A smile formed on his lips as I came around towards the front of him. "It's my game, idiot. I can control it without a controller."

That's when Slender returned.... "Oh God, Slender!"

*Slender's POV*

*A few hours before*

Finally, I found their base. I have been searching through the forest for the men responsible for the girl's injuries and Marble's death.

It wasn't as easy as I had planned. They really knew how to hide their homes well. Gazing out from the tree line, I see the rather large base with at least seven huts and a large building near the head of the tiny village. It was quite grand, with engravings in the wooden pillars and a large doorway.

People swarm the streets, and yet, most never looked towards the large building and not all were human.

No, this place was filled with different species, men with horns, women with tails and children with spines sticking out of their arms and back. This place was filled with unknown pastas! I have never in my life seen so many unknowns and I never knew so many could exist.

A large crash directs my attention back to the large building. Another crash. Suddenly, the large doors crash open. A man comes flying out of the building and crashes into the filled street, barely missing a few people.

He shakily stands, his teal shirt ripped up and his dark blue jeans soaked with blood. His messy brown hair bobs through the crowd as he runs past them, shouting "Everyone! Get inside! Get inside now!" He need not to say it again since everyone in the street was rushing towards the nearest building, his face flashing through the crowd, showing me who he is.

"Herobrine?" I whisper to myself. He has not shown up around here in a while, and I was quite surprised at his appearance here. Was he the one who hurt her? My tentacles slowly came out at the thought, but quickly retract when another man steps out of the large building, causing me to grimmace. "I should have known."

The man standing in front of the large doors had horns sticking out of his head and blood red eyes. His black hair was ruffled and he wore an army like uniform with his arms showing off his muscles. His eyes watch Herobrine with anger as I notice the blood trickling down his head.

"Zalgo.." I mentally slap myself as I say his name, for no sooner that I spoke, his head whips in my direction. I teleport away, and arrive at the foot of the village where Herobrine was still running towards the woods. Out of no where, startling even myself, black tentacles shoot out from the ground behind him and wrap around his ankles, tripping the man and causing him to slam into the ground.

Groaning, he begins to stand as Zalgo walks closer to him, eyes burning with anger. For once, I think Herobrine was scared, his white eyes glowing brighter as he walks closer.

Suddenly, laughter echoes through the clearing. Gazing behind the man walking towards him, Herobrine shouts, "Now, Pinkamena!" as a creature stands at the doors now with a large object in her hand.

Zalgo ignores his shout and raises his hand, a knife gleaming in the light until a whirring sound came from behind. "Get Pinked!" The creature shouts, and bullets fly out of the large object.

Shocked, I quickly teleport to the lying Herobrine while Zalgo was distracted, grabbing his wrists with my tentacles and quickly teleporting away, hissing as a bullet grazes my side. Appearing in the woods, opposite the gun fire, I set him down and grasp my side. "I was not expecting you to be here, Herobrine," I say, a slight edge in my voice as the man stands up and watches the creature with the large machine gun laugh while she continues to fire at Zalgo.

"Neither did I, actually. I was with Pinkamena when we stumbbled upon this place and Zal- him," he corrected, gesturing towards the man slowly approuching Pinkamena as bullets sink into his skin. "Tried to destroy us right off the bat." Turning away from the gaming ghost, I watch as Zalgo continues on, getting uncomfortably close to Pinkamena, who I could now see was a pink pony with a straighten pink mane covering half of her face.

Suddenly, Zalgo jumps up, knife raised and ready to kill the pony.

Eyes wide, she gazes up, attempting to raise the gun, but she was to slow.

Reaching out, I appear in front of her and grab her quickly as I feel the knife come down on my back, causing me to shout out in pain as the blade dug deep into my back, grazing my spine and blood pouring out the wound as I teleport away. Arriving near Herobrine, I wrap my tentacles around his wrist and teleport again, further away from Zalgo.

Arriving deeper in the woods, I fall to my knees, pain searing through my body as the blade moves with each breath I take. "Slender!" I hear someone shout, I think it might have been Herobrine, for the voice was male.

Roaring in pain, I feel the blade retract from my body as hoofs push off my back. On my hands and knees, I look up into the face of Herobrine, his eyes brightly shining in worry. "I-I will live." I say, shakily.

As I begin to stand, I hear a russtle in the woods and before I can turn, pain flares through my gut as a large, black tentacle slams through my back. Gasping in shock, I feel my body get lifted off the ground as laughter rings through the forest. "Looks like I finally will have my way with the pasta's."

"R-Run, just r-run!" I shout out, my tentacles wrapping around Zalgo's neck and catching him by surprise. As his tentacle retracts and I fall, I quickly teleport away, surprisingly arriving back at my mansion.

As I begin to faint, I hear who I believe to be Jeff shout. "Oh God, Sleder!"

********************

*The girls POV*

Voices....

Movies...

Games....

I hear something, I hear people....

A shout here....

A shout there....

"But, I-I'm alone...."

No, you are not alone anymore. A soothing voice reassures me.

I...

I'm not?

No, child. I am here with you, and so are the pastas. The voice says once again. It sounded...

Familiar...

As I sit there, staring out the window at the sun filled forest, I hear a crash in the living room and a single shout that made my eye twitch.

"Oh God, Slender!"

Somethings wrong. I can feel it. I can smell it.

Blood, lots of blood.

Suddenly, the building shook. If this was Slender's Mansion and he created it, will it be destroyed if he died? The ceiling above me cracks in response. He's dying...

Slender is dying.

Somehow, that cracked me, my postion slips and fear crashes against my body. I felt cool metal form against my neck, but I ignore it, knowing it was my necklace.

Quickly, I jump off my bed just as a large chunk of the ceiling crashs down on the bed, completely destroying it. Racing to the door, it flings open to reveal a startled Jeff, and by startled I mean he screamed. Sliding out the door, I quickly race down the hall and turn left at the end and race up the stairs, following the blood trail.

Making it to the top, I continue to run down the hall until I see a large piece of the ceiling falls. I wasn't having any of that!

As it falls, I hop over it and once another piece begins to fall, I use my momentum and slide under it, ignoring the pain in my arm as it slides behind to keep me sitting up. Making it to the other side, I take a sharp right into a room with blood puddling on the ground.

My eyes widen at the sight before me as I slowly walk up, the starled Ben and E.J. jumping back. Coming to the side of the bed, I gently grasp the hand of the barely breathing man, his suit torn and soaked in blood. Resting my other hand on his shoulder, I whisper to the shocked boys, "Get out of here." My eyes stay locked on the mans head as they shake their heads and walk to my side.

Watching him closely, I feel my green eyes begin to water as warmth fills my chest. A soft light emits from my neck, but I ignore it, the only thoughts racing through my head being, I'm not losing you, too. You saved me once, now it's time to repair the favor.

I continue to consentrate, ignoring the rocks and walls crumbling around us. As the light above us shatters, I feel the large slab over head begin to fall and the boys at my side shrivel down in fear.

I close my eyes as I feel a new energy pulse through my body.

When I open them again, I continue to stare at Slender's head as the slab slowly halts directly above our heads.

**************

*E.J.'s POV*

He can't be....

But the fact that the woods were fading and the buidling was crumbling to pieces told me he was.

Slender was dying.

"Zal-He really did it." I say, standing in shock by Slender's bed, Ben right next to me.

"E.J., what's going to happen to us?" He asks, his tone causing me to turn towards him in shock. He never sounded like that, he always was thinking as everything as a game. And yet, he sounded....

Scared.

Not as scared as he was about to be, as I slightly yelp in shock as a girl walks towards us. He did as well as he turns and sees her. She looks concerned as she walks over to the bed side.

I just stood there with Ben, shock still evident on our faces. How was she moving!??

She kneels by the bed and grabs Slender's hand while her other hand rests on his shoulder.

"Get out of here." She whispers, never looking away from Slender's barely breathing body.

Both Ben and I were not going anywhere, and we shake our heads, going to stand by her side.

We were all going to die. Right here.

The room seems to brighten, and as I look over, I see something around her neck glowing. The light is soft and strong, burning a bright blue. The light above us shatters and as I look up, I gasp as a slab of ceiling begins to fall towards us. Shrinking down, I look up to see what the girl would do. She closes her eyes as her necklace seems to brighten. When her eyes open again, I hold back a gasp.

Her eyes are no longer green, but they are a burning, bright blue, with a blue smok slightly coming from her eyes. Her hair was slowly turning white, starting from the top, but as it continues further down, it slowly fades to a bright, blood red. Suddenly, the slab stops, nearly touching her head. Lifting my head further, I watch as everything begins to fall back into place. I look at Slender's body to see it nearly fully healed.

She was healing him!!

How?!

I guess it's that necklace, because the minute his body was fully healed, her necklace stopped shining and she stands.

As she turns and heads for the door, Jeff arrives there just in time as she had began to fall forward. "Woah!" He shouts, catching the girl.

"S-Sorry." She said, eyes barely open. "Just..... tired is all."

Jeff, bewildered at the fact that everything was back to normal, slides his arm under hers and helps her back to her room. "It's okay. C'mon. Let's go."

Now that shocked me.

Jeff was never nice to anyone, except Smile!

Watching them as they went down the hall, I slightly snicker until I hear a familiar voice try to speak.

Slenderman was waking up.

*************

Sitting just outside the window, blood red eyes watch in intrest. The eyes bob up and down as their owner slightly chuckles. "I knew that kid had power, but not that much."

Then....

They vanish. The only way someone would know anything was there was the swaying of the tree while there was no wind.
