The Start of something New

*The Girls POV*

My head was aching. No, that was an understatement, it was KILLING me. I need to open my eyes, but I really don't want to. What I remember doesn't feel real, and I think it was a dream. There's no way that I could have saved him, and I think I'm scared to see myself surrounded by rubble and.....

Bodies.

Shaking my head (which was not a good idea), I slowly open my eyes. The blinding light was causing me to blink rapidly as I sit up quickly. If the building collapsed, then there shouldn't be light!

Holding my head, I lay back down, wincing in pain. "That was NOT a good idea." I mumble quietly to myself as my head throbs. Opening my eyes again, I find myself staring at someone with pure white eyes and a large smile on his face. "No, it wasn't a good idea at all." Shouting, I raise my fist and 'accidentally' punch him in the face, jumping out of the bed and getting in a fighting stance.

He was rubbing his nose and had a large grimace on his face as he turns towards me. "Geez, chick. That really hurt!" He glares at me, his eyes brightening a bit. "What was that for?" He shouts, crossing his arms. I slightly relax. "I.....sorry. I thought you were going to hurt me or... something." I drop my guard, something twitching in my hair. "You weren't going to, were you?" "Well, if I was going to, I would have already!" He shouts, rubbing his nose.

His head slightly spins, and I tilt my head, my hair twitching again, thinking it was actually just him, but then the whole room flips. Stumbling, I feel my back slowly begin to fall, but I never reach the floor as two arms slide under my own and hold me up. "Woah, hold on. I gotcha." I feel my stomach wanting to retch, but it had nothing in it, so I cough instead. "Th-Thanks...." I say as he helps me stand up. The thought of my stomach being empty masked the sickness and made my mouth water. I'm pretty sure my gut growled as well since his eyes glow as he laughs. "You sound like you are hungry." I nod and wrap my right arm around my stomach, groaning as it gurgles again. "Just... a little..." I lie. I could eat a horse!

"Well, might want to close your eyes." He says, causing me to turn to him in curiosity.

Note to self: Do what someone tells you to when they are helping you.

Suddenly, the world actually spins before reshaping itself into a...

Living room?

Gazing around, trying not to puke, my hair twitching uncontrollably again, I find myself now standing in front of a couch with four people lounging on it.

Well three people and a husky.

As my head reels, I feel multiple arms grab me and multiple voices shouting the some what same message.

"Woah! Careful!"

"You alright, chick?"

"Hold on, we gotcha!"

"Careful! Let us help!"

Opening my eyes, I spot everyone from the couch now surrounding me, which causes me to slightly jump back. They all take a step back as well, slightly shocked about how well I was moving. "S-Sorry... I-I'm not used to so many people being.... well worried about me.." They all seem relatively shocked, the one without eyelids and having a carved in smile slightly shocking me as his eyes seem to get wider. The kid that looks like Link walks over, his face unreadable. I feel fear start to consume me until he finally speaks. "Well we should be worried about the one who saved us."

"Wait... what?" I am royal confused. I didn't save anyone, did I?

Another person, this one with a white mask with feminine features walks over. "You don't remember, do you?" As if it wasn't obvious, I shake my head, reaching up to try to stop the twitching in my hair. "I remember the building was crashing down, and Slender..."

My face obviously did something different, because everyone's eyes (even no lids over here) went wide as they stare at me. I feel something grow inside of me, and the coolness of metal on my neck and chest tells me my necklace has returned. "Slender." I say, my voice barely above a whisper. The last time I had saw him, he was.... "Where is he?"

"Hey, chick. It's alright, please calm down." The guy that helped me comes into view again. I feel anger for some reason, which is then replaced with irritation. "My name isn't 'chick', white eyes. It's Alisa." I say, fists clenched. "And I didn't ask if he was alright. I asked. Where. Is. He?" I could feel the heat rising off my body, but everyone else must have as well because they all begin to back off. "H-Hey ch-Alisa! Please, calm down! I-I can take you..."

"Child, I am alright."

Instantly, I feel the heat vanish from my being at the sound of Slender's voice. Gazing around, I see a tall figure standing at the base of the stairs, slightly slouched over and leaning against the wall. His face was scrunched up in pain, but he looks worried as well.

I rush over to him, leaping over the couch as if it was nothing. Coming up to him, he continues to watch me with worry evident in his features. I inspect him, ignoring the feet racing away from us. Claws scrape across the ground and I feel fur brush against my legs. The husky was now standing next to me, but I didn't care.

Slender seems to be alright, I couldn't find any bruises or cuts. "I am only sore, child. Do not fret." He says, using his free hand to rest on my head, sliding it down softly onto my shoulder. I gaze up at his face, something probably changing in my features since his lack of eyes grow wide (is that even possible?). "I can tell you are in pain, Slender. But, I need to ask you a question. Why is everyone looking at me like I'm different?"

Slender seems to be confused until he sees my confusion at his confusion. "Come, child. I will show you." He slowly starts to make his way back up stairs when he almost falls back. Already being behind him, I place my hands on his back to steady him. "Easy there, Slendy." I say, slipping under his arm and holding it up to keep him balanced. "Thank you child." He says, as we continue up the stairs, the husky following.

Reaching the top, a memory crashes against my vision of the ceiling falling and I see a faded version of me rushing through and sliding under the debris. I slightly stumble back, catching Slender off guard and the husky quickly steadies the both of us. Shaking my head, I gaze up at the tall man, who was now watching me carefully. "I'm... fine. Sorry, just had a flashback." He nods his head and we continue on, turning into the room my silhouette did. As we reach it, I walk over with Slender to the bed and gently set him down. He groans and slumps over slightly, the husky bounding over and laying next to his feet.

"Now, child. Come here." He said, softly patting the next to him. I didn't realize I had started to walk away until he said so. Sitting down next to him, I watch him carefully for any sign that he was lying about just being 'sore'. His hand gestures in front of him, and when I look, I feel my blood run cold at the sight. It was a mirror. I could see his hand reflecting itself. His arm went back up to his body and I could see his head. That isn't what made my blood run cold. The husky watching me with it's crazy eyes through the mirror isn't what made all my blood freeze.

It was my own reflection.

My hair wasn't brown anymore. It was red at the tips and the further up the hair strands, it fades to white. My eyes were not green with the white background. The iris of my eyes were a bright blue and they sat in a pool of blood red. I had ears poking through my hair. They were large like a foxes, but slender and had streaks of red in them. Slowly I stand, reaching up and feeling the ears. That's why my hair kept twitching! I think to myself as I pet them, feeling the touch go through my whole head. I shift my hand away from my ear as I feel a tickling sensation.

"W-W-What.... happened?" I ask, slowly turning towards him. He straightens up slightly and huffs from the strain. "To be honest, I do not know. All I can remember is saving Herobrine and Pinkamena from... Him." Still shocked, I don't register that he never said a name. "He attacked and I was close to death. I do not know why he would attack me, since I am the creator of these woods and the mansion and if I die, they will disappear and the pastas will be left without any place of defense." He lays his head in his hands and sighs as I sit down next to him, still wide eyed and shocked. "Anyways, after making it back to the mansion, I remember waking up here, the roof having a crack before it completely fixes itself as if nothing happened."

I feel a hand slip under my chin and softly push my face upward until I am staring at Slederman's head. "They said you were here and your necklace glowed. Afterwards, when they looked at you again, you were like this and I was fully healed." He says, wincing as he turns towards me a little more.

"Not fully healed." I whisper, rubbing my arm in embarrassment and defeat. I swear I hear a chuckle from him before he hisses in pain. "Child, I may be sore, but I have no injuries on my being anymore because of you. Do not count yourself short on your abilities. You cannot be upset at not being able to cure something you had no knowledge of being able to cure." I gaze up at him and the white skin on his face is stretched like a smile would be if he had a mouth.

I smile and slightly laugh. "I guess you are right." I say, mentally laughing as I speak like he does. I hear a rustle and gaze over to see he has lay down. His face seems to scrunch up, but he makes no sound at the movements. Sighing, I stand up and walk over towards his head. Reaching my destination, I squat down and rest my head on the bed near his head. "I know you need to rest, but when you wake up, I really badly want you to answer a few questions I have." His head tilts towards me, and I feel like he's watching me with amusement. I think he already knows what I want to ask him, but he sighs and twists his head back to facing the ceiling. "May I hear one of them before you leave?" He asks, and I know for sure he already knows what I'm going to say.

"How can you even see?"

I hear a laugh and I know it's him as well. He rests his hands on his gut, clasped together. "That would be a rather confusing topic to explain, but I will try my best." With that, I laugh and pat his shoulder before standing to leave. "Sleep well, Slender."

"I shall try, child." He says, as I close the door and head back to the kitchen. I'm still starving, and I am only focused on that until a bark startles me to the fact I almost fell down the stairs. Turning, I see the husky trot up behind me, a large, human like smile on his muzzle. "Thanks, boy?" I ask, not sure if he was a boy. The dog nods and I smile, heading down the stairs. He stays next to me the entire time like I might fall again. I like the feeling of having another dog around, even if it's not Marble.

At the thought of her, I feel dizzy and nearly fall down the last set of stairs, the husky barely able to slide under me and keep me up right.

"Thanks again, boy." I say, holding my head. Now matter how hard I try though, I stand and immediately get dizzy again. This time, the boy with the carved in smile catches me. I barely hear him ask if I am alright before the spinning world turns dark and I fall unconscious.
