... Than Just Your Life

It couldn't be.

I was so close.

She was in my grasp. I held her in my grasp.

I could have saved her had I only moved faster. Realized it sooner.

I shake my head. I can't think of that right now. He was still here, standing in front of me. Of us. The rest of the group had arrived and circled around to stand behind me, confused at the scene until they were by my side. The crater from the impact was at an angle, and only from my point of view could you see it all.

There he was, standing in front of us, one hoof firmly planted in the back of Alisa's body in the center of the crater.

I was so close, and now she was gone. I couldn't read her mind. It was quiet.... too quiet almost. For two souls living in one being, the silence was deafening. I could feel the rage in me build. My static was not going down anytime soon.

No, I couldn't control it right now. He took her away from me. I treated her like family because, through time, I had grown to love her like a daughter. Now....

I stand. I can feel my tentacles emerge from my back even more. Nearly all of them were out, and I could feel each one move. He finally turns towards me, a wicked grin on his face. On his body. Everywhere. "I didn't know you could even feel such an emotion anymore, Slenderman." That is the only thing we will most likely ever agree on again.

I can feel something crawl onto one tentacle, and before He can react, I throw it forward. As I feel another entity touch another tentacle, I launch it forward as well, straight towards the killer himself. Jeff flies past his head just as he moves out of the way, but his blade meets his cheek for a moment. EJ's scalpel grazes his side, making the indention from Alisa's bite a little larger as he also flies past.

I keep this movement going, and the pastas that are thrown land on the ground behind him, and dart back into battle. It was clear he was trying to leave, but after I finally run out of things to throw, I launch myself at him and barrel into his gut. I slam him into the ground and each tentacle begins to punch him in the face. This rage in me was startling, but as I began to give it a focus, it became a power I did not know I had. However, I needed to control it. I was starting to think things that could lead me to harm others.

Suddenly, pain emits from my stomach and I feel the air rush pass me. I quickly teleport near the other pastas, but the momentum from my flight follows, and I slide to a stop just a few inches from them. They look battered and bruised, and I finally realize that, of course, this thing would not have come alone. If he needed so many people and creatures way back before she snapped, he would definitely need nearly four times that.

And indeed that is what he brought.

They must have emerged while I was entranced with harming him and only him. That is why I need to focus, control this powerful anger inside. I cannot allow myself to get distracted again. It poses the chance of losing someone else.

The monster before us laughs.

"You can't beat me, Slender! You never could!" His face twists into a smirk of victory. "Give up. She's gone! You can't save her anymore!"

"ntoeogn"

I shake my head. Something spoke, but I couldn't hear it. It was distorted, scrambled.

But familiar.

I glare back at him. I could not beat him on my own, but I was not alone this time.

Yet, neither was he.

However, I could feel anger behind me building. It starts with Jeff, but it seems all the others are feeling the same way. This, unfortunately, makes Zalgo smile. "That's what I hoped for."

I turn back towards him, and I see his army of werewolves and other creatures rushing towards us. Unknown pastas of every sort are mingled in, yielding terrifying looking weapons. However, a few are instantly gunned down, slowing their advance to a complete stop in surprise. I gaze towards my right, and out emerges Pinkamena, her pink mane flying behind her as her large gun blasts into the enemy's zone. As it finally dies down, she turns toward me. "She was a friend! I knew her before you, and she didn't deserve this!" Her glare turns towards Zalgo, and it intensifies. "No one, except you, deserved that."

I realize that I had seen her at the camp before, along with Herobrine, where I suspected Alisa had been kept. I never thought about them knowing each other, but it makes sense. She never spoke of her time there, and I never asked. Speaking of the gaming ghost, he suddenly appears next to me, and I am confused at the look of victory in his face. He gazes up at me and uses his head to gesture behind us. "Do you forget I'm the King of Hostile Mobs in Minecraft?"

An ear piercing roar echoes above us, and a large shadows covers the field. Even Zalgo is surprised as the famous Enderdragon from Herobrine's game crashes down on top of him. He is flung backwards as the beast backs up to join our ranks.

The monster stands again, and glares daggers at Herobrine. He was enraged at this, but just as he advances, making it within inches of us, another blast slams into him, and a three headed floating skeleton-like creature appears on our left. Zalgo crashes through his own army, leaving an obvious line in the middle. Noises like vwoops, growls, and hisses roll from the tree line behind us. Clanking of bones joins in the band, and I do not even have to look to know what has come to fight. The bright eyed ghost winks at me, and I nod in return.

Zalgo growls, and throws his arm out in rage. "Fine! Bring everyone! Everything! You. Won't. Win!" With that, he surges forward, and his followers do what they do best, follow.

I scream in static and charge forward, my own ranks in tow. The possibility of all of us never leaving this field were high, but we did not care.

He killed a family member again.

And this time we won't go silent in defeat. We will fight until we cannot speak anymore.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Minutes turn to hours.
Seconds into years.
It seems like everything slows as we near, and everything grows silent.
Silent until the mad crash of armor covered zombies slam into mutant muts. Arrows fly through the sky and crash a few feet in front of us, killing multiple enemies. A dragon roars as it emits a powerful burst of energy, and the three headed creature blasts away all in it's path.
EJ slices into an unknown pasta, his mask shifting as it's body crumples to the ground and rapidly decays. He turns and attacks again, but a hand grabs his shoulder. He feels something pointed begin to penetrate his skin until a shout tears the object away.
He turns, grasping the shallow wound slightly. LJ laughs in mad glee, but gives a nod to EJ. He nods back in thanks before throwing a scalpel at LJ's head. The clown ducks instantly, and another unknown pasta drops dead. "We're even now!" EJ yells.
BEN wrestles with a werewolf, pinned under its weight.... Or so it thought. Grasping its arms, the ghost pulls it under ground as he phases through the dirt. Releasing it, he emerges in front of it and easily relieves it of it's head with his Master Sword.
Herobrine was on the back of the Enderdragon. A large mutant was shredding through the mobs as if they were sticks, and the Enderdragon was furious at the amount of Enderpearls floating on the ground. It made it roar in rage. However, Herobrine had to help guide it so it didn't attack the wrong side of battle while attempting to mutilate this beast. It was a werewolf that nearly stood the same height as the dragon, but Herobrine, wielding a large diamond sword fused with obsidian dashes forward and launches off his pet. Raising his blade, he gouges one eye of the beast out before quickly teleporting away just as it's clawed hand reaches up to slap him. The dragon takes this chances to latch onto its shoulder and throw it aside.
Jeff and Smile are back to back, in the center of a circle of corpses. They were fighting as a team, and neither were letting the other get in harm's way. Jeff kneels as an unknown attacks, allowing Smile the jump off his back and bite down on the neck of this over-sized creature. It instantly flops backwards, and Smile detaches and rejoins his friend.
Toby, Masky, and Hoodie are madly rushing through the enemy ranks, hacking and slashing as if they were a single being. If one jumped, the other ducked. If one slashed up, the other would slash down. Behind them was a wake of devastation.
Slender and Zalgo were locked in a death grip. Each one was using his own tentacles to attack the other while they were using their powers and fists to try and gain the upper hand. However, it was obvious that Zalgo was starting to gain on Slender. The white faced pasta was previously injured, and had been injured once again.
"no"
Caught off guard by the noise, Slender is thrown backwards by a severe punch to the chest. His static rakes across the ears of the werewolves within a mile, who howl in pain.
"no... nac't...."
He struggles to stand, the noise in his mind starting to make him dizzy. It wasn't making any sense, and it was clouding his judgement. Zalgo was gaining on him again, and he teleports behind the monster, catching him off guard only for a split second. This allows him the slam his tentacles against the multiple mouth creature and send him flying across the battlefield.
"have.... to..."
However, Slender never sees the dust erupt from the impact, and he turns just as Zalgo's face comes into view inches from his own.
"move"
An ear shattering explosion sends both Zalgo and Slender flying backwards. Mobs from Minecraft hiss at the light emitting from this thing that appeared between the two leaders. Enderman scream in protest, shielding their eyes, while werewolves howl in pain from the noise that only they could here. Even Smile could not seem to hear what they heard, as he was fine besides the wounds inflicted from battle.
This seemingly orb of light mimiks the center of a hurricane, all around it the wind was lashing and the clouds were swirling above as well. Lightning crashes across the clouds, and Slender seems to notice something about the scene before him. Something familiar, but it was ever so slightly different. The orb of light was not yellow or white.
It was blue.
Blue smoke was wrapped around it like a snake and swirling over it. Even the sky was lit up in a blue color with each flash of lightning. Zalgo seems to notice this as well and he roars in rage. He rushes forward, forming some sort of "powerball" in his hand. Once he nears the orb, despite the wind slamming against him, he stretches his arm forward to try and touch this thing.
However, another hand breaks from the orb and stops him in his tracks. This hand was pure white, but the nails were long and light blue, as if that was their natural color. The hand turns until it's palm is up under the ball Zalgo had intended to use against it's home. The monster himself seems to still be trying to push it forward, but the blue smoke from the orb begins to wrap around him, holding him firmly in the air somehow, despite being transparent.
The ball in his palm slowly begins to shift colors. Starting from the white hand, it begins to turn purple, but that is only the line to separate the two. Soon the purple rises, and below it is blue. As it nears the center, the color changing stalls, as if it can't go any further. Suddenly, it swirls, making this ball look similar to an ancient Chinese symbol. Zalgo's face seems to... be impressed? At first it was confused, then angry, and now a slight hint of pride was in his eyes, along with the ever so slight tinge of fear.
The smooth pale hand moves again, until it's palm was now facing outward towards the imprisoned Zalgo. Slender and his gang are watching, but it seems only a select few had any idea of what was happening. Slowly the hand moves back into its orb, but before anyone can react, it slams back outward, launching the small orb directly into Zalgo and sending him crashing against the earth. A large ravine is formed as his body tumbles across the ground.
However, the orb of light itself was also destroyed, blasting into a million pieces around the thing standing inside of it.
Or should I say, the girl and the dog.
For a moment, both are seen until another flash of light blinds all in sight. Once it fades, just a girl with feathered wings and deer like legs. Hooves were at the end of each leg, and they were covered in fur, quite similar to her dog form. Her rat like tail with a large tuff of fur at the end was flowing behind her, and her long hair was whipping back and forth. Not only were her wings a good three times their normal size, almost touching the ground at the ends despite them being folded behind her, but the energy she was emitting was confident. Powerful. However, despite all these different things that usually happened when she snapped....
Something was different. It was as if she was not only a few inches taller, but...
Her mind was one.
Slender notices this immediately and can barely contain himself. She was controlling her rage, focusing it almost, using it to control her insanity. However, a slight shift in the wind confirmed his fear.
It was only for a few moments.
But that's all I needed.
All we needed.
We calmly wait in the center of our whirlwind, eyes bright and smoke flowing from them. They were their usual blue in a sea of red, but a slight hint of purple was around the edge of the iris. She had told me it might be a side effect as we merge, and I was alright with that. It judges how much more time left we have apparently, but we wouldn't have the ability to tell until it was too late. Of course, she reminds me that Slender would notice, and it calmed us.
Zalgo was before us, emerging from his early grave a bit sooner than we had planned. However, we were not troubled. We simply began walking forward towards him. His army began to advance, but when they neared, they would collapse. Werewolves would cover their ears while the unknowns would simply fall back as if struck. We couldn't do this too much, it risks us using too much power before we can get rid of him.
Once again, this is easily fixed as he rushes towards us the second he fully emerges from the ground with an enraged battle roar. He was in his normal, full form. He still towered over us, but that did not matter. What mattered is what he finally wanted was going to send him running home in tears.
And that was a monster that could actually withstand him.
As his fist swings towards our face, we easily slip down and twist around. Our hoof makes a sickening crack when it meets his side, and he is out of our sight before we can blink. As we do, he appears once more, aiming lower. We spread our wings slightly, shaking them out. Then, with a single beat, we are a few feet in the air, and he glides under us. He reaches out for our tail, but we had already anticipated that.
Flipping forward in the air, our tail smacks against his face, then as it whips around again, the fur turns sharp as daggers and slashes against his chest and face.
For the first time, we hear him growl in pain.
We smile.
Carefully we land, our back towards him, but out head was turned to the side. One eye could see him easily over our shoulder. The other spotted Slender moving towards us. As he grows closer, we could hear him as our vision starts to cloud red. "Your eyes..."
We only had a few seconds left.
Thankfully, we had done enough damage to make our father stumble once he stood. An unknown holds him up on one side. We say one word to him, keeping a straight face despite the slight glee we had at the sight.
"Leave."
He growls, but the unknown says something that persuades him. Or maybe it was the fact he had seen what he wanted to see, and now he knew what we could do.
If only he knew that we were barely holding it together.
He... nods?
Before we question it, he dissipates into a black mist, and the rest of his crew does the same. They seem to fade into nothing, but we know the truth. It's how he teleports.
Our vision is almost completely red when we feel Slender's cold hand rest on our shoulder. "You need to split, child."
We nod, and the blue smoke from our eyes thickens and wraps around us. Slender removes his hand.
As the smoke softens and vanishes, I am back in my four-hooved form with Marble's spirit separate from my own again. I felt the strain start to weigh on me, but before I can even move, I feel Slender's tentacles lift me up and carefully wrap around me. I gaze up at him with thankful eyes. He... looks sad? But not a sad-sad, like a joyful sad? As if he would be crying tears of joy if he could.
I don't question it. After all, he did watch me die.... again. I blink at him, and when another hand rubs my ear, I turn to see Jeff and everyone else. My family, all of them slightly bleeding from their wounds, but no one seriously injured. They were all happy to see me, and LJ could barely contain himself. I try to speak, but my voice was hoarse again. Jeff hushes me. "You can talk later. Rest now, you mutt."
Slender sighs, then makes his spare tentacles touch each pasta on the shoulder.
"Let us go home now."
