*Slender's POV*
It has been three weeks since I brought home the girl and her dog. Neither have woken up and only one of them seems to be making progress in their recovery.
Only one.
The thought torments me. They both have to survive. Eyeless Jack continues to reassure me, but in his mind, I can tell he is lying. Sitting at my desk, my hands are the only thing keeping my head from slamming into it. How could I save them? How can I save them both? One thought races across my mind, but I dismiss it quickly.
"They are not ready for that yet." I whisper to myself. My wounds, though they were deep, have already healed. The scars barely show on the outside, but on the inside, I can feel pain that I haven't felt since Sally first came. This girl seems..... different. She wasn't deathly scared of me, like the men were at my appearance, as they had scattered like the roaches they were. Preying on a young girl and her dog, just to mercilessly kill them in the woods, alone and cold.
That's what you do for a living, Slender.
My concious was getting on my nerves. Mine was different. I did my job alone, rarely taking my proxies or the other Creepypasta's with me. These men had their best dogs and weapons to go against her.
Raising my head, I feel a curious thought prob my mind.
"Why so much firepower against one girl and a dog?"
Standing, I walk towards the large windows behind my desk, hands clasped behind my back in deep thought. There were at least twenty men, some hiding in the woods in case anything went wrong.
"But what would go wrong?" I asked myself. They also had over double that amount of those werewolves with them, once more, a large amount of them hiding away in the woods.
Lowering my head in defeat, I hear the door slowly creek open and soft steps come my way. Barely turning my head to the side, I spot his blue mask before anything else.
"Yes, Eyeless Jack?" I say, hope lingering behind my words.
"Slender, you might want to go to the girls room."
Turning around, I watch the boy carefully, his mask slightly moving as he seems to smile.
"She's waking up."

*The Girls POV*
Warmth covers my whole body in a soft cocoon. Afraid to open my eyes, I slowly move my arms around, hissing in pain as my right one throbs. Searching around with my left, I feel soft blankets over my body and a cushion mattress below me. Shocked, I open my eyes, slamming them shut as a bright light blinds my vision. Groaning, I tilt my head away and hold back a shout of alarm as a man seemingly teleports in front of me.
Slightly jumping out of my skin, I hiss in pain as multiple wounds throb and my head screams in protest. A cold hand gentle settles on my forehead, causing my eyes to open again. "Child, it is alright. You are safe here." It was that man from the woods!
Releasing my head, he lets his hand dangle at his side. Following his arm up, I find myself staring into the same blank face as the night before...
Or was it the night before last?
"You have been unconcious for three weeks." Blinking, I stare in utter and complete shock and confusion as he answers my questions. "H-How did you....."
I swear if he had a full face, he would be looking at me with amusement in his eyes. "I might have looked at you like that if you were one of my proxies asking me that question, child. You are human and know not of what I can do, so I would mearly tell you how."
This time, I just stare at him, dumbfounded beyond belief.
Tentacles slowly slither out from behind him, my eyes widening in fear and.... well.. intrest. Never seen that before in my entire life! As they reach out, I hear a chair's legs skid across the ground slightly until they lift it up and set it gently behind the tall man.
"Let's start off with introductions. I am Slenderman, and this is my Mansion." He said, gesturing around the room. Gazing around, I take in my surroundings with awe. The room was huge! There were large windows on one side and giant dressers against the wall with the door out. Another door was on the far wall, which I guessed was the closet. The curtains looked silky soft and light and the lights above my head were very bright, obviously. The bed I was on was up against the wall, perpendicular to it I should say.
"I am the leader of the Creepypastas that live here." I stifle a laugh. Is that why he's tall like a noodle? I think before mentally slapping myself. That was rude. He saved my life and Marble's li- "Marble." I whisper, eyes wide.
His head drops away. Clearing his throat, he looks back. I could feel the tears already beginning to show. "She is in a room nearby, but, child," He stops, raising his hand and wiping away an escaped tear. "She may not make it." I could feel my heart shatter. She has to make it. She just has to!
"We are doing everything we can, young one. Her wounds are very deep." He sighed and stood up as a loud crash suddenly erupted from outside the room.
Muffled yelling could barely be heard as Slender turns towards the door, anger seeming to emit off of his body. As he begins to walk towards the door, it bursts open, a large dog covered in bandages skids around the tile floor before rushing toward my bedside. My heart melts as the large black dog, with brown paws slides around the bed before jumping up on the left side where there was just enough room for her to stand.
Letting out a soft bark, she begins licking my face in worry and excitment. "M-Marble?!" I shout, trying to stop the hyperactive tounge with my good arm. As the muzzle finally retracts, I find myself looking deep into the brown eyes of my friend. "Marble! Y-You're alive!" Letting out a large bark, she nuzzles my neck and lays down, her head resting on my chest, right below my neck.
Her tail was wagging so much, I laugh at the thought of it flinging off. The sound of footsteps alert me to Slender's arrival at my bedside. Rubbing the dogs head with my left arm, I look up at the man, slightly ticked. "You said she might not...." Deep breath. "Make it." He seems to be upsett about something, but he just shakes his head. "I apologize. I must have misheard. Excuse me." With that, he dissappears, completely.
Shaking my head, I felt my eyes droop as Marble licked my chin one last time.
She's alive. My girl is alive.

*Marble's POV*
The girl is clueless. I want to keep it like that for as long as possible. She doesn't understand what is going on right now, and she won't until I die. I think to myself. Raising my head, I feel a pinch on my side and something cutting into my fur, but I can't physically feel it. Not right now, anyways. My body is unresponsive to any pain. Standing up, I jump off of the girls bed, not even ruffling the sheets. Slowly, I descend to the floor and when I land, my claws don't make a sound.
Looking behind me, I watch as the girl's breathing increases.
I can feel it, too. And that's why I have to leave.
Three days have past since I first ran in, or most of me did. I remember waking up in this place in my normal body.
The pain I felt...
The blood dripping everywhere....
I remember my side, it was ripped opened and you could see my inards torn to shreds.
I remember my bones scattered on the blood soaked ground.
I remember..... everything.
Reaching the shut door, I shiver as I continue to walk through, my whole body phasing through the wall. Opening my eyes, I feel my spirit begin to fade as I look at Slender. "Take care of her, will you?" I ask the slumped figure. He was fast asleep against the door, one knee up to his chest and head leaning against the door. The only way I know he is asleep was his breathing; it stays constant the whole time.
Walking away, I feel my strength drain from my body as my feet slowly lift from the ground.
I could feel her scream before she ever opens her mouth.

*The Girl's POV*
The nightmare continued, Marble's mutilated body layed at the feet of a large man with horns sticking out of his head and spikes protruding from his arms. His eyes were red and he had jet black hair.
On my knees, I feel my emotions collapse as my eyes snap open, a chill rushing down my spine.
N-No... No, it's not real. It can't be true. N-No, no! I won't believe it!
I reach behind my back to feel for the warmth and comfort of her thick fur coat to hit cold, damp air. Shaking, I feel her presences slowly slide away, the strain crushing my heart. As my heart continues to fight for her to stay, I could feel the bed tremble as I shook, sweat dripping off my body.
Then suddenly.....
It stopped.
The strain....
The bond...
Snapped. I feel nothing as I lay there on the soaked bed, blood starting to pour out instead of sweat. Wrenching myself up, I scream at the top of my lungs as pain smashes against my heart. The lonliness returns, the pain of being alone, every feeling I had before I met her catches up to me and crashes into my mind as one, causing pain beyond belief.
I was screaming so loud, I didn't notice the doors bash open and a tall figure scoop me out of the bed and craddle my blood sweating and shaking body. "N-No. No, no, no. It's n-not t-true! N-Not t-t-t-true!" I shout, tears streaming from my eyes as Slender slowly sits against the wall, holding me close and whispering things I couldn't understand. I was shaking so much.
I'm alone.
She's gone.
I'm alone.....
****************
*Slender's POV*
She stopped screaming a while ago, but now, I think this is worse than her constant screaming. I had sat in the room with her for a while, trying to comfort the child as the strong bond between her and the dog was broken.
We knew this would happen...
Now, she is just sitting in there, eyes wide and knees to her chest. She seems to be in pain from the movement, but she is ignoring it.
I don't like this.
Not even Jeff and Smile have a bond that strong. How is that possible? She's a human and Marble is.... was... just a dog.
"Right?" The thoughts race across my mind, but I shake them away. I will never get the answer's I need from the child. I should not worry about that now anyways. Very few have made a bond like that. Those who have, when they broke....
Neither survived.
Once again, I shake my head. I must not dwell on those thoughts. We will help her through this.
Turning, I walk away from her room. I needed to get my mind off of these thoughts.
There was only one way to do that.....
Maybe I can get my answers, and help the girl.
Grinning, I teleport away, arriving at the spot I first met the two.
"Time to meet the one who harmed the girl and the dog."
