Mina's Pov

I was at home locked in my room in the corner as was trying not to cry because of what happens around this time of day. I was shaking as my dad walked in and turned and lock the door. He walked up to me and I looked up as had bruises and my face was swollen on one side.

"Have you learned your lesson?" He said.

"Y-yes." I mumbled.

"What did you say!?" He said yelling now and slapped me. "What have I told you about speaking up!" I was shaking as was looking down.

"I-I said yes..." I said louder.

"Good." He said and left I was happy but then there was a fire in my room I ran for the door but it wouldn't open I looked around and sat in a corner far away as heard my dad drive away laughing.

"Help!" Was all I could say there was no way out and I started to cry as krpt yelling help. When someone knocked on the door.

"Anyone in here?!" They said i knew it was papa.

"Yes!" I said they tried to open the door and noticed it was locked.

"Can you unlock the door?" They said.

"N-No..." I said.

"Is the fire infront of the door?" He asked.

"Yes!" I said and the fire was about to touch me and it burned. "Ah!" I said.

"We will be right there stay where you are!" They said and soon I passed out and they came back to the fire around around me and I was bruned alittle because was swollen of red marks. they put out the fire and checked my pulse and it was there but faint and took me out side to the hospital car and they took me to the hospital with a oxygen mask on me.

"Everything will be okay." The nurse said and my eyes closed. I woke up in the hospital and looked around as a news report came on.

"A girl was found in a house fire burned but not dead how lucky is this child the police are still trying to figure out how it started and why she was bruised also." The News person said. I turned the tv off wincing and a police officer came in.

"Hi how are you." He said.

"O-o..." I started but my voice failed me and I winced.

"Okay maybe questions later then." He said and left and told a nurse I needed water they got me water and I was glad.

~Time skip~

It was the day I could leave I was met by a cop.

"Okay who started this fire?" He said.

"I dont remember." I said

"Who has been abusing you?" He said.

"I dont remember..." I said.

"Okay thank you." He said. When I left I went to a forest finding water I went in and it felt nice and then there was a roar.
