she hates coffee.
It's warm.
Whatever it was that he was laying in.
It was warm.
He had never felt more relaxed in his life.
"Sasuke-kun, please wake up."
That voice.
He have never heard it before.
It was calming.
He suddenly felt his eyes opening slowly only to see grass in his face.
He suddenly noticed skirt cloth which caused him to look up at a blushed face.
"W-What do you think you're doing?" He raised himself up from her laps.
She merely shrugged her head to her arm as she could have not carried him for the broken arm she had.
"Oh right, I'm sorry." He sighed rubbing his head as he remembers what happened to him.
I hate getting train sick.
He lifted himself up and then held a hand out to her. It had been a while since they had returned to their old hometown.
They began walking together until they reached an old traditional wooden Japanese home.
The door slid open revealing a woman similar looking to Hinata as she greeted them with a small smile.
"Hinata! What happened to you?!" She held her face softly noticing all her scars and bruises.
"She was in an accident, she saved a kids life." Sasuke said making his presence known.
"Oh I'm sorry I didn't notice you there! Who might you be?" She held her hand out for a greeting.
"I'm Sasuke Uchiha, I'm your daughter's friend. Wanted to make sure Hinata got here safely." He shook her hand but looked away.
"Why aren't you a gentleman!" Hinata's mother smiled as Hinata shook her head at how innocent her mother was.
Her mother watched as the sun was starting to set.
"Why it's getting really late, you both must be tired." She said as she took Hinata's suitcases.
"I've already laid out a futon in the guest room." Her mother said as Hinata nodded.
Hinata signed with her free hand for Sasuke to follow her.
When they slid the door they noticed a futon..the only problem is...
There's only one!! They both thought as their faces heated up a little.
"Oh I'm sorry, Sasuke-kun. I didn't know you were coming so I only had only had one laid out!" She said behind them which caused them to turn around.
"It's fine, is there another one I could maybe have?" He said.
"I'm sorry, I only have one. Well it's not like you guys can't share, right?" Her mother put her hands together as she was pleased with the solution.
Mom, please stop. Hinata said to herself.
Suddenly the phone rang which caused her to leave them alone.
They walked into the room while closing the door behind them.
"Well I'll take this side. Better not kick me in my sleep." Sasuke said as he laid down and covered himself.
Geez, this isn't even you're home. Don't act like you're in charge. Hinata crossed her arms as she also laid down on her side to fall asleep. They face away from each other.
3:13 AM
So heavy..
He felt something lay on his chest which caused him to wake up. His eyes opened only to see an arm over his chest. He looked over to her as she had taken off the blankets and was in an awkward position. He lifted himself up while removing her arm and putting it back to her. Her body quickly arranged itself to where she was sleeping on her left side, one hand under the pillow and the other bent near her chest and face.
The light from out of the window reflected on her pale Snow White skin and her moonlight colored hair.
It's almost as if she resembled a princess.
He stared at the small smile that suddenly crept on her face.
I wonder what's she dreaming about. He thought to himself.
He suddenly felt dehydrated.
He put on some slippers as he crept over the futon and her body trying his best not to wake her.
He made it to the door where he slid it open then quietly behind him.
He walked around in the darkness of the house until he stumbled next to a drawer in the hallway and saw something about to hit the ground. Scared he might have almost woken up anyone he caught it before it landed.
He looked at as it was a picture frame. Inside was a picture of Hinata with a man, he could not see the rest of his face.
He put it back as he made his way to the kitchen and flickered only the light only to be startled by Hinata's mother staring out the window.
She turned around with a coffee mug in her hands.
"Sorry Sasuke-kun, did I wake you?" She placed her cup of coffee on the table.
"No,actually I was afraid to have waken you up to ask for a drink of water." He laughed nervously.
"Oh no, please help yourself. There are cups in the cupboard by your left." She said to him as he did as told.
"My, you've gotten nicer Sasuke-kun." She said which caused him to stop what he was doing and look at her.
"I'm sorry?" He said bringing the cup closer to his lips hoping he wouldn't have to answer.
"Why are you with my daughter, Sasuke?" Her voice turned serious.
"I'm not sure what you're getting at here." He took a sip of the water.
"I know who you are. You bullied my baby all throughout elementary." Her voice cracked which caused him to look down on himself.
"And you have the nerve to come here today? You're so lucky she has a big heart." She said as tears formed in his eyes.
"It didn't bother you at all, did it? It didn't bother you that she would come home crying that she hated everything about herself, that she didn't want to go to school anymore, it didn't bother you at all?" She wiped her tears.
"I want to fix that." He quietly said.
"It might be too late for that." Her mother looked down to the floor.
"If I could go back in time and change everything I swear I would do it in a heartbeat."
"She needed you Sasuke, and you left her." Her mother said to him.
"I didn't want to leave her. I couldn't control myself, my father had just died." He said.
"Was it that bad that you couldn't have taken 15 seconds out of your day to tell her that you were leaving and not keep her hopes up?" She got up from her chair.
"Where were you for the rest of those years, Sasuke? No, as soon as she found a bit of happiness you decide to pop right back in."
"I heard what had happened to her." He said.
"So what? You only come when there's an emergency?"
"If I could-"
"Stop saying if I could and do something about it!"
Her words hit him like a truck.
Suddenly the alarm went off indicating that it was time for her to go to work.
"I'm going to work, please make Hinata breakfast." She said as she rushed to the shower.
He washed their dishes as he headed back to the room where he saw her laying in a comfortable position.
He pulled her into a hug.
While he ran his fingers through her long silky hair.
Something he hadn't touched in forever.
"Sasuke? Let's go to a cafe." Sakura pointed to a flyer on the school bulletin board.
"Isn't it wrong to promote a cafe on a school bulletin board ? It's only for clubs & events." He said to her.
"What? And a grand opening isn't an a event?" Sakura smiled as she held his hand and walked away together.
"Not a school one." He said.
"Don't be such a downer, I know you love coffee!" She laughed as he stopped thinking for a moment as he remembered her expression.
That's right, Hinata hates coffee.
"Sasuke? What are you smiling at?" She said as he hadn't caught himself smiling at the memory of her adorable disgusted face once she took a sip of it.
"I hate coffee too." He said.
