What can she do?

She hid behind the kitchen counter as she took out her phone.

Sasuke!

She called him as it only lead her to voicemail. She texted him various times only to not have a response.

She gave up and placed her phone into her back pocket. There was a ring at the doorbell which she couldn't hear. She placed her head to the floor to feel any vibrations.

This time she felt the vibration of the doorbell as she slowly crouched towards the door. She took a deep breath before nodding to herself and standing up to look through the peephole.

She saw a tall man with rugged clothes that looked way too baggy on him. He looked familiar but she couldn't tell where she had seen him before.

He had suddenly looked up at the peephole which caused her to stumble back out of fear.
Nearby Beach
Izuko looked over to the phone that was sitting across her. Sasuke had walked into the changing room with Itachi as they were changing out of their swim clothes.

It vibrated again.

She looked around before taking it and looking at the name appear on the screen.

She didn't know what to do as the phone started vibrating again and her name appeared on the screen.

"Tsch." She sucked her teeth as she cleared his notifications and put his phone on Do Not Disturb.

"What were you doing with my phone?" Sasuke appeared behind her soaking his wet hair on a towel.

"Oh nothing, I was just moving it." She said as he looked confused and picked it up. As he was about to unlock it to check if she didn't anything, she threw herself at him causing his phone to fall.

"Izuko?" He said as she looked up him.

"Oh sorry, I thought there was a beach ball coming." She laughed nervously as Itachi and Izumi appeared laughing and holding hands.

"Looks like they got along, also." Izumi laughed at the sight of them being on top of each other.

"As if." Sasuke pushed her out of the way and dusted the sand off himself.

"Well, thanks for being here Sasuke, Izuko." Itachi smiled.

"Yea." Sasuke sighed as he dreaded to go home.

"Yea, you can go home now." Izumi smiled.

He took that as a sign and walked away but not to then hear footsteps behind him.

"Sasuke, lets go to an arcade." Izuko persisted him.

"I really rather go home." Sasuke replied.

"Oh come on, just for a while." She persuaded him as he finally agreed and they went towards one.

They had spent a whole 2 hours playing games as Sasuke had finally had courage to check the time. He noticed 3 missed calls and 5 messages from Hinata.

How did I not hear this?

He saw the top of the corner had the Do Not Disturb sign on as he was confused, remembering he had not turned it on.

He unlocked his phone to see more messages that he did not remember receiving.

Sasuke, someone is here.

Please hurry home.

I don't know what to do.

I'm scared.

Sasuke, the power went out. I'm so scared.

They're at the door now.

He scrolled the messages as his heart began to race. He checked the last message she sent as it sunk to in his head.

Sasuke, I'm sorry for earlier. It's all fine now.

"Sasuke? What's wrong?" Izuko appeared behind him as he looked at her.

She was on my phone earlier.

"I have to go." He passed her as he ran out through the game machines.

"Sasuke!" She called out but it was not enough to stop him from leaving through the doors.

He arrived in 10 minutes stat. He noticed the door was half opened.

"Hinata?" He called out and walked further into the apartment.

He walked up towards her room where he saw the everything was packed up.

"Hinata?" He walked towards the bathroom.

He saw her curled into a tiny ball inside the tub with her head resting on her knees.

"Hinata." He hugged her as she looked up to him and clinged onto him.

"Scared." Were the only words that came out of her mouth.

"It's okay baby, I'm here." He hugged her.

She pointed to the guest room as he noticed and walked towards it.

He opened the door to see a man sitting there as he got up to look at him.

"Uchiha." The man spoke.

"Who are you?" He said as Hinata appeared behind Sasuke.

"Hello, I'm Hiashi Hyuga."
