dark.
He set her down on the floor as he unlocked the door to his apartment.
Throwing her arm over his shoulder as he lifted her up. Her feet dragged upon the surface as they came to the hallway. He looked at the stairs and then back at the living room.
"No way in hell, will I ever let you in my room." He said to himself as he walked with her into the living room.
He laid her down onto the couch. Reaching over to her to touch her forehead.
"Well you don't have a fever." He said to himself.
Maybe she's just tired. He thought.
Then again what would a deaf person be tired of? He then proceeded to lift himself up not knowing what to do.
With the little force she had left she lifted her finger to her school backpack.
"Do you need something there?" He said as she nodded.
He scrummaged through her bag as he found a bottle of pills.
Take 1 every morning, huh? She must've forgot then. He sighed, opening the bottle as he took placed one in his hand.
"Get up." He told her as she saw his lips moving but was too fast for her to able to read them correctly.
He sighed as he gently lifted her up.
"Open." He said slowly so she could understand him.
Opening her mouth, he placed it in. Realizing he forgot water, he ran to kitchen to grab a glass.
He handed it to her as she swallowed the pill along with it. Slowly feeling her body going to normal.
She took out an iPad as she wrote the words Thank You, I'll be going now.
He read them and shrugged his shoulders.
"Have it your way." He said as she lifted herself up from his couch and gathered her belongings.
She walked to the front door and put on her shoes.
Be nice to her. A memory of his flashed through his mind.
She walking towards the door now.
Be her friend.
She started unlocking it.
Don't run after her.
She was taking a step out as the sunset was shining through.
Don't.
And she closed the door.
He sighed, as he walked to the window of the other side of his apartment to see her walking. It wasn't until he noticed a man lingering around the corner of the lamppost.
He started walking behind her as soon as she passed him.
He don't know what hit him. But in two seconds flat he had his coat on and walked out the door.
As soon as the man started lifting his arms he felt a kick to the stomach which had stunned them both as Sasuke moved out of the way making him fall to the ground.
They looked at Hinata in shock as she had knew he started following her but how?
While the man was on the floor, Hinata stepped onto his stomach with one foot as he gasped for air.
Just who the fuck is she? He backed away a bit.
She took out her tablet as she wrote: can you call the police?
"S-Sure." He stuttered still a bit stunned from the events from earlier.
The police arrived shortly along with a certain someone.
"I'm glad you remembered how to defend yourself, Hinata." The boy hugged her as she hugged him back.
It's nice to see you again, Kiba-kun. She signed to him as he smiled.
"You've gotten taller since the last time we spoke!" He patted her head.
You're not too bad yourself. She smiled at him.
Since you're in town, why don't we go to dinner or something and catch up? He signed.
I would love too! She signed back until their conversation was interrupted when Sasuke grabbed her wrist.
"What she means is that she would love too but has to go home now." He said to Kiba.
"I don't know if you noticed but she almost got attacked by a man." Kiba crossed his arms.
"I don't know if you noticed but she defended herself." Sasuke smirked as Kiba was left speechless.
He took Hinata by the wrist as they walked away until they reached the stop light that is when she forced herself out of his grip.
"What?" He looked at her.
She crossed her arms and looked away from him.
"Are you mad at me?" He laughed.
The light turned red which meant it was their turn to cross.
"Come on." He started walking halfway until noticing she wasn't following him.
"Seriously?" He turned back as he waved a hand in front of her face.
"The light is red, idiot!" He said also crossing his arms to mock her.
Unfolding her arms she looked at him with the most adorable angry face.
So annoying.
"Fine, have it your way." He lifted her by her knees and carried her over his shoulder as she panicked.
He laughed at the way her feet kicked him.
Putting her down once they reached her street.
"What happened to all that fight you had in you earlier?" He said slowly.
She scoffed and walked away towards to her house.
"Yeah! You're welcome, you know!" He yelled putting his hands in the pockets of coat.
Walking more and more into the dark of the night.
Until he bumped into her again.
"Sakura." He smiled.
"Sasuke-kun." She said serious-like.
"What are you doing here late at night?" He wondered.
"Naruto and I have a date." She blushed while saying his name.
"You must be really happy with him, huh?" Sasuke looked down.
"Yes, he's the best boyfriend I've ever had. No offense." She said awkwardly.
"None taken, I'm glad you're happy." He lied.
"Thank you, well I better get going now." She ran past him but stopped.
"Don't forget our deal." She yelled.
He walked away where he saw the boy from earlier sitting on a bench.
"And I thought you were her overprotective boyfriend." He laughed while drinking the last bits of his canned soda.
"So what's the deal? You aren't using Hinata to get with that girl, are you?" He crushed the can.
"I don't think it's any of your business." Sasuke crossed his arms.
"It is my business.. Hurt her and
I'll kill you."
