The truth

Sorry this chapter is short, it is quite good though.

Tina sat in her room hugging her bear tightly. Great big tears poured out of her eyes and down her face. The door creaked open.
"Daddy?" Tina asked as she raised her red wet eyes. Her mother felt a strain on her heart when she heard that word.
"No honey, it's me." She said. Her daughter buried her face in her knees.
"I don't want you. I miss daddy." She said erupting into even more tears. Was she really going to do this, was she really going to tell her the truth, that her dad will never come back. She changed her mind, she can't tell her! She will have to lie.
"I'm sorry I shouted, I'm not angry at you." The little girl buried her face deeper. "Stop crying, look you're getting Coe Coe all wet." She reached out to her daughter's bear.
"Coe Coe likes to be wet." Tina mumbled as she pulled Coe Coe closer.
"I know why your upset, I'm sorry, you didn't do anything wrong. I just miss daddy too and when you talk about him it makes me sad." She got some tissues and wiped her daughter's eyes.
"You're not cross?" She said as she lifted up her head to look at her mother.
"Of course not honey! How could I ever be cross with you?" She said as she ruffled her hair. "Let me see that smile!" Tina giggled. "There we go, come on let's go to the park huh?"
"Okey mummy." Tina sniffed as she grasped her mums hand and was led down the stairs.
