*POV Ruby*
I awoke to the sound of people outside marching, I look outside to see the sun just coming up, it's only 6am, I walk to the kitchen and see a glass in the dish rack, I grab it and fill it with water and take a sip, I walk down the hall to Y/ns room and knock

Y/n: *muffled* come in

I open the door and see Y/n shirtless at his desk, he looks at me

Y/n: oh hey Ruby what's up

Ruby: umm well I was gonna ask why are there people marching outside

Y/n: oh that well it's Saturday so James usually goes and wakes up the recruits and goes on a march then a run, sometimes Damien and Clancy go with him, I usually just stay and do whatever really,

Ruby: oh ok, quick question how did you find me

James: well being honest we didn't, we were looking for files and found you in one of the rooms

I turn around and see James at the door

Ruby: so you're saying that it was just a lucky chance of being rescued

James: no actually, we went for files, those files were ones of all the people the terrorists kidnapped and well price looked over the list and found out that you were one of them

Ruby: so either way, you would have found me

Y/n: absolutely, it's out jobs to help out others, even when we are off duty, we still protect and help

Clancy then came running to the room

Clancy: are we giving speeches...oh I got one

Just before he could continue James grabbed him by the back of his shirt and started to leave

James: alright Clancy lets leave the love birds alone

Clancy: awww, but I wanna make a speech

James: later

With that they both left and James shut the door, I was blushing when James called Y/n and I love birds

Y/n: sorry about Clancy he can be a handful but hey...he's like my own brother and plus he can kick some serious ass

Ruby: awesome

James: *muffled* COME GET BREAKFAST BEFORE I MAKE YOU

Ruby: that was quick

Y/n: dudes a natural at cooking

With that we both left his room and walked to the dining room, I sat down and Y/n sat next to me

Damien: so....you two have fun in there

Ruby: we talked that's it

What I didn't notice was that Y/n was giving Damien a dirty look

James: Damien....shut up

Damien: I'm just saying, Y/n could have gotten laid

Ruby: what do you mean laid

Damien: well I mean

But before he could finish his sentence, James tackled Damien to the ground

James: protect the innocent at all cost boys

Damien: dude seriously

James: it's what we do

Damien: I fucking hate you

With that James got off Damien and he sat down as James went back to the kitchen, Y/n then looked at Damien with a smug look

Y/n: hey Damien, you two have fun down there

James/Damien: I will kill you

Y/n: alright

James then walked in sat plates down it was an omelet with bacon in it and a side of French toast

Y/n: I can already taste it and I haven't touched it

James: good

We all ate and talked, it felt like I've already known these guys for so long yet, I barely know them

*Timeskip 3 hours*
It's 9am and I'm at a helicopter landing, waiting for one, I'm in my regular clothes and I see Captain price walk over

James: ATTENTION

all four of them saluted

Price: at ease boys, now then, I guess this is goodbye for now

Ruby: I guess

James: well it's nice knowing you rubes

Y/n: yeah is great to know you

Ruby: same.....quick question can I know all of your names please

James: that seems suspicious but what ever, James Hunter

Damien: Damien Wayne

Clancy: Clancy Berkhart

Y/n: Y/n Schnee

Wait did he just say Schnee

Ruby: wait...... Schnee

Y/n: yes Schnee, I know it seems weird

Ruby: are you related to Weiss Schnee

Y/n: yes she's my younger sister, do you know her

(Authors note, Weiss and all the other first years are gonna be 18 since Weiss is a year younger then the reader and ruby will be 16 since she is 2 years younger then yang)

Ruby: yeah she goes to beacon with me

Y/n: wait really...she's at beacon

Ruby: yeah

Y/n: sir *looks at price* may I

Price: yes you can go, but the others are coming with you

James: we won't interrupt the reunion, plus haven't seen beacon

The helicopter landed, Y/n opened the door and we all got in at sat down

*TimeSkip 1 hour*
*POV Change Y/n*

Ruby was excited since she got to see her friends and family again, I'm also excited since I can see Weiss again, she might be mad at me but, I'll take it

Y/n: hey ruby

Ruby: yes

Y/n: when we get there don't tell Weiss straight away ok, I want to surprise her

Ruby: you got it

James: alright lads we are close to beacon and it seems that we got a small crowd

Ruby: I see my family, even my uncle Qrow and dad are there too

James: well of course, it's important to keep family close, you never know when they might go

The helicopter landed

Y/n: alright rubes I want you to stay here for a second ok

Ruby: ok

Ruby then hid so that you couldn't see her, we opened the doors and walked out, we were in full gear and had our weapons out, i then see a girl who looks exactly like ruby but older, I think that's summer, the girls how tried to pay James to look for ruby

Summer: did you find her *starts tearing up* please tell me you found her

James then moved out of the way so we had a path in the middle

James: ma'am, I believe she is yours

Ruby then came out of the helicopter with tears in her eyes, we see summer start crying and a smile on her face, she ran over to ruby and gave her a big hug

Summer: oh ruby *sobs* you're back *sobs* I thought I lost you forever

Ruby: I'm ok mom....I'm ok

I then see four more people walk over and hug her as well, beautiful

Ruby: it's good to see you all again

They each let go and I see Weiss walk over towards ruby

Weiss: you idiot, you went out at dark and went missing for 3 weeks, do you know how long I was looking for you, I even called some Atlas soldiers to look for you

Ruby: sorry

Weiss then hugged ruby

Weiss: don't be sorry you dunce, it wasn't your fault

I then see a girl with a bow and four other hug ruby, after a few minutes they let go

Bow girl: good to have you back

Ruby: thanks feels good to be back

Then we see a girl with rabbit ears and a girl with a beret come out and the rabbit girl runs to ruby and pulls her into a hug

Bunny girl: Ruby, you're back, i missed you so much

Ruby: hey velvet, hi coco

Coco: hey rubes

Pyrrha: what happened you were gone for 3 weeks

Ruby: well, I was kidnapped by some terrorists, who took me to their base and wanted info about beacon, but I don't know much and I couldn't understand them, they then tortured me for 2 weeks until these four busted down the doors and killed them all and then took me back to base, were i was unconscious for 1 week

Summer then turned to us

Summer: thank you for saving my little girl

James: no problem ma'am, we always protect and save

I then looked at Weiss

Y/n: so you're Weiss Schnee

Weiss: that's right, at least someone knows me

Y/n: well it would be stupid if an older brother didn't know what his sister looks like

Weiss: wait what

I then took off my helmet and see Weiss start tearing up

Y/n: hey sis

She then hugged me so hard that if I didn't have the exo skeleton, i might be dead

Weiss: I can't believe it's you, after so long

She then let me go and slapped me, saw that coming

Weiss: where were you

Y/n: I knew this was coming, well I signed up for a young recruitment into the American Military, and I signed up and did a test and I passed, i the left home and lived at the base, and trained for so long

Weiss: why didn't you tell us

Y/n: you wouldn't have let me go

Weiss: I mean....yes but still, you could have left a note, we all thought you left

Y/n: well Klein helped me with it, also how badly did you four miss me

Weiss: five

Y/n: five, it's four Weiss....., you, Klein, winter and Whitley

Weiss: and mom

Y/n: really, you expect me to believe that willow, noticed that I left

Weiss: yes and she was so sad when you left she barley left her room

Y/n: I'm finding this hard to believe

The thing I didn't notice was that the yellow haired girl and the girl with the bow were both blushing at my appearance

Y/n: well I'm sorry for leaving, but I made some friends and got pretty famous

Weiss: what do you mean famous

Y/n: well I'll tell you, the man on the far left is our leader James aka Zombie, the man in the middle is Clancy aka Stingray, the man on the far right is Damien aka Nightmare and me Y/n aka Bolt, and we are The Ghost Squad

Orange haired girl: THE GHOST SQUAD

The orange haired girl then ran around each of us and inspects us with the biggest smile ever

Orange haired girl: I can't believe I'm meeting The Ghost Squad, I'm a huge fan

Black haired boy: Nora calm down

Nora: sorry ren

James: how many fans do we have

Clancy: I know tons of faunus respect us

Damien: damn straight

Weiss: so you became a Soldier and a very dangerous one at that

Y/n: yes I did, oh boys you can take your mask off now

*POV Third Person*

James, Clancy and Damien then took off their helmets and certain girls blushed at the boys

Pyrrha blushed at Damien's face, Velvet blushed at James face and Summer and Raven blushed at Clancy's face

James: alright well I think you should introduce us to your friends red

Ruby: oh right, well you know of Weiss Schnee, this is my sister yang same dad different mom, the girl with the bow is Blake belladonna, and we make Team RWBY with me as the leader, the red haired girl is Pyrrha Nikos, the orange haired girl is Nora Valkyrie, the boy with black hair with a pink strip in it is Lie Ren, prefers Ren, the blonde haired boy is Jaune he is Pyrrha's boyfriend (don't worry NIGHTMARE6666 she will be yours soon) and the leader of his team, Team JNPR and lastly the girl with rabbit ears is Velvet Scarlatina, and the girl with the beret is Coco Adel, they have 2 others on their team but coco is the leader of Team CFVY,

Y/n: that's a lot to remember but it's nice to meet you all

Ruby: and this is my mother Summer, my aunt Raven which is yangs mom, my dad Tai and my uncle Qrow

James: nice to meet you four

Ozpin: well we'll well, who do we have here

James: Uncle Oz, how you been

Everyone but James and Oz: UNCLE

James: Yep Ozpin is my uncle, so how you been Oz

Ozpin: I've been swell how about you

James: training and saving a huntress

Ozpin: yes, I thank you for saving one of my students

James: it's our job to protect

Ozpin: that's good, now I have a question for you

James: What is it

Ozpin: would you like to join beacon

James: as wonderful as that sounds, well one, my whole squad is 19 and two we serve the American Army, you would have to talk to captain price about it

Ozpin: i already have, he said it's up too you four

James: well, what do you guys think

Y/n: I'd like to stay, give me more time to spend with Weiss

Damien: be a nice break from that place, plus we get the title of hunters too

James: that's legit my last name, well Clancy what do you think

Clancy: well, I don't know really, I don't have much reason to stay

James: it will get you away from Natalie

Clancy: I'm in

James: alright looks like Ghost Squad will be at beacon for the next four years

Weiss then hugged Y/n

Weiss: yay I get to be with my big brother again

Damien: I never say this, but that is cute

James: the fuck you say....who are you

Damien: shut up James

James: well we are gonna have to go get all our clothes and stuff

Ozpin: actually price said if you all stay you can each get your own dorms and have all your stuff sent here

James: well then, we should probably check out our dorms

Clancy: Definitely

James: oh quick question, ruby how old are you

Ruby: oh I'm 16

Y/n: technically I was correct

James: whatever alright Ghost Squad lets do this
