Day 2

A/N: I want to read a lot of comments and see a lot of votes!! ;)

When I woke up today, the boat was moving and we were going to our next destination. The morning went by rather quick, we had breakfast, more like a brunch. Harry was telling me about some things that he needed to solve back in England so he wasn't going to be around much in the morning.

I decided on spending the day away from the sun, my skin is a bit sunburned from yesterday and this trip is only beginning. I grabbed one of the books I brought and spend the rest of the morning reading. When it was time for lunch, Harry was still somewhere else and I noticed that we were arriving to our next stop.

I finish eating alone, but I have to say I do miss his company. I stand up, taking my plate from the table and into the kitchen, even though I know I shouldn't do it.

"Miss Frances, let me help you with that." Rachel comes right away, but I move the plate away from her.

"Don't worry, I can wash it myself." I say, giving her a smile. "And call me Frances, the 'Miss' title makes me uncomfortable."

"Sorry, it's just etiquette." She says, giving me a smile.

"Where are you from? I can't quite point out your accent." I ask while I start the water, taking the sponge on my hand.

"I'm from Sydney, well, I was born there but I have been all over the globe since I was a child. My dad is a captain." She says to me, her beautiful tanned cheeks turning into a smile. "So, my accent is from everywhere I guess."

"Wow, that's amazing. It's very unique." I compliment her, finishing on the plate and starting with the glass. "And you have been working in boats all your life?"

"Since I can remember, I used to do different things but I think I enjoy serving people." She says placing her elbows on the counter. "Well, not all the people, to be honest. But it comes with the job."

"Some bad experiences? I have time to hear them." I say, finally finishing washing. I dry my hands and stay behind the counter.

"Well, I don't think I should tell you, it's not professional." She smiles shyly, I shake my head.

"Hey, I'm just trying to have another friend around. I'm spending two weeks in here. I need a friend." I say, placing my elbows on the counter as well.

"Okay. But you can't tell anyone. Specially not to Mr. Styles." She says, lowering her voice.

"I promise." I give her a reassuring smile.

"Well, as you may know, the owner of this boat has a lot of celebrity friends and he always let them use the boat." She starts saying, I already feel like I like her. "One time, we received this family that I'm not going to name, but they are all girls."

"The Kardashians." I instantly say, she moves her hand over her lips sealing them.

"I'm not saying the name. But, they were incredibly disrespectful." She says, with a shrug. "One of them even told my manager that she didn't want to see me around because I made her feel uncomfortable."

"Uncomfortable?" I ask, that's really stupid.

"It has something to do with my hair, that one of them wanted exactly this tone." She rolls her eyes, and then continues. "Then, one of the days I went to my room and I found all the wet diving equipment on my bed. My room was dripping with water. It was them, they did it as a 'joke'."

"They didn't-" I gasp, shaking my head.

"They did." She sighs, giving me a smile. "They had to dismiss me for the week, so I lost that week of payment."

"Wow, I'm so sorry. Stupid celebrities." I shake my head, feeling sorry for her. "I'm sure they were the Kardashians."

"I'm not saying the name." She chuckles, standing straight now. "I guess you're used to celebrities, too."

"Not really. Do I seem like the kind of girl that spends her vacations in boats like this?" I laugh, shaking my head. "Hell no."

"But, you're dating Mr. Styles?" She tilts her head to a side.

"We're not... We're not dating." I say, even when a smile traces my lips. "I mean, we are kind of figuring what is happening between us. That's why he said he wanted a little getaway with me."

"Did he planned the trip for you?" She asks in awe, moving her hand to her chest. "That's like the most romantic thing I have ever heard."

"Really? I... I guess I never seen it like a- romantic... Gesture." I frown, biting on my bottom lip.

"The most romantic thing someone has done for me is buy me cup noodles and let me use their Netflix." She says with a straight face, it makes me laugh. "So, yeah, taking you on a trip to different islands is actually pretty romantic."

"What are you girls talking about?" We suddenly hear a voice joining our conversation.

I chuckle, Rachel instantly moves one step away from the counter and fix herself, going to her previous attendant position. We almost got caught on our girl talk.

"Just hanging out here. Bonding." I say a bit quick, so she can relax a little bit.

"Yeah, sir. Just talking." She says, her hands knotted behind her lower back. "Would you like something to eat?"

"That would be great, thank you." He says with a sigh. "I'm starving."

"I'll be right back with a plate for you. You can go take a seat." Rachel says, excusing herself and going into the kitchen. She gives me a smile before leaving this side of the kitchen and I response with one as well.

"What was that?" Harry asks, taking a step backward towards the table.

"Nothing. I think I just made a new friend." I say, following him to the table.

"Hm." He sits in the table outside, I sit with him.

"How are you? How did everything go back home?" I look at him. He looks great today, but I notice his hair is a bit of a mess. I can picture him running his hand through his hair a thousand times to be like this.

"Not that good. I'm really stressed. My manager is putting a lot of pressure on me." He moves his eyes down, his expression changes into a frown. "He doesn't support my idea of a break."

"But it's your decision, he only has to accept it. Right?" I actually don't know much about his job, being an artist and such.

"It's not that simple. He sees the big picture, not only me." He explains to me, turning his eyes to me. "He sees the press, my reputation, fans, numbers, the rest of the crew behind me. It really stresses me, because... I don't want to think about it right now."

"Well, we don't have to talk about it. Okay?" I move my hand and touch his arm, giving him a smile. "Let's just focus on having a great time."

"Sounds great for me." He slowly smiles, I mentally move my fist in the air in celebration. I like to bring his mood up.

While he eats lunch, at four in the afternoon, local time, I tell him about what I wanted to do later. Since we arrived to St. Barts an hour ago, I want to go see the town and have a walk around. He agrees with me, telling me it would be great to leave by six, just in time to watch the sunset from the boat that is going to take us to the shore.

We spend the rest of the afternoon in the third deck, away from the sun. We are sitting together, his head using my legs as a pillow while I run my hands through his hair. We are quiet, but I think he needs silence right now.

I take this moment to look at him just because I know that he is not going to notice, his eyes are closed. I run one of my hands to his face, tracing his features with my finger. To his forehead, then to his slightly big nose, his cheeks and his lovely mole on the side of his mouth. He suddenly grins under my touch, it brings butterflies to my stomach.

"Don't stop." He says with a husky, slowly voice.

I smile deeply, moving my finger along his face again, making paths over and over. After a moment, I trace his lips. I can feel my beating accelerated. I move my finger over his top lip and then the bottom one, he slowly opens his eyes to find me looking back at him. He sits up, supporting his weight with only one arm.

He slowly moves one of his hands to my face, running his thumb on my cheek. He half grins, moving closer to me and placing a peck on my lips. He separates after just a second, resting his forehead in mine.

"Uh, sorry to interrupt, sir." We hear a male voice from the sliding doors. We both turn to look at Derek, our bodies still very close to each other. "The boat will be here in twenty minutes."

"Thank you, Derek." Harry says, with that he leave us. He looks at me, running his thumb on my cheek one last time. "Come on, let's go get ready."

We go to our rooms. I change into a black dress and black flip flops. I decide to do something with my hair because its a bit frizzy, I guess its from the salt in the air. I only apply mascara and run chapstick over my lips. In no time we are in the smaller boat going to the shore. They leave us in a marine and we walk ourselves to the town.

It's really cute. Small but beautiful. All the shops and restaurants are located in small places between the streets. Every store in here screams designer, I doubt I can cost any of that. We walk side by side, Harry has his glasses on even when the sun already went down.

"Oh, look! A Drift store! Let's go inside." I say excitedly, finally something I'm familiar with. I take his arm and go inside, he smiles following me.

I walk all around the shop, it's full with different things. Clothes, toys, shoes, hats, souvenirs, everything. I stand in front of the glasses, trying on different ones. I start with the ugliest, very outdated.

"What do you think?" I try on a set of pink rimmed glasses that has a cat-eye finish.

"Pink is not really your colour." He says, pursing his lips. He takes them off my face and grabs another, taking a set of green ones, they look so big on my face I look like an alien. "Now you're ready for the runway."

"They are awful." I laugh, taking them off me. "Here, try this one."

I give him white round rimmed shades. I thought he was going to look horrible but, it actually looks good on him.

"It's not fair. They look great on you." I say, moving my body weight to one leg.

"I think Saint Laurent has similar glasses. I kind of like them." The word rolls out of his tongue with ease, he looks at himself in the small mirror, I roll my eyes.

"Unbelievable. Well, I'll buy them for you." I take the glasses off his face, walking to the cashier.

"You don't have to buy me anything, I can pay them myself." He jokes behind me, while I do the line of three people.

"No. Please, let me. I can barely cost anything on this island, let me buy this for you." I say, giving him a smile. "Please."

"Okay. With one condition." He gives me a smile in response. I listen, raising an eyebrow at him. "You let me get a picture of you with the glasses on."

"Deal." I roll my eyes at him, finally getting first in line to pay.

We ended up visiting some other stores, I see his mood going back to his usual self and I like seeing him this way, so I play along, even when he wanted to go into all the designer's stores. We have a little fun, we try on hats and play a bit. I actually talk him into buying a captain hat, he just looked incredible wearing it.

After paying for the hats and for some reason, cuban cigars, we leave the store and walk around. I suddenly notice his quietness, and with that his mood dropping. I frown in confusion, trying to get his attention back to me.

"Hey. What happens?" I ask while he stops in front of a store, avoiding my gaze. "I thought we were on the same page of having a good time?"

"It's not that." He says with a serious voice, he then sighs. "There are paparazzis following us, don't- Don't turn around."

"Oh." I stop moving, still looking at him. "Let's not pay attention to them, okay? Look at me."

He does, I give him a smile.

"I am having a really good time with you, let's try to not think about them." I take a step closer to him, locking his arm with mine. "What do you think... About grabbing some ice cream?"

"It sounds good." He says, his lips in a tiny smile trying to keep with his good mood.

We find our way to the gelato store and once he's inside, I still notice him looking back. He hugs me from behind, while I look at the countless flavors in front of me. I order a pistachio cone with chocolate chips as topping. He doesn't order anything, after I pay we walk out of the store and he says he's tired, that he wants to go.

While we walk our way back to the boat, this time I do notice the paparazzis following us. He starts walking even more quick, now holding my hand trying to fasten my pace. His face is consumed in a complete frown, I haven't seen him like this before.

"Is that your new girlfriend, Harry?"

"What's her name?"

"Harry, stop for some questions!"

"What happened to your band?"

We hear them shouting towards us but soon enough we arrive to the boat, he throws our bags to one of the chairs and sits down, giving a signal to the guy for him to drive away. I sit in front of him, I still have the cone in my hand, I barely touched it.

Once we arrive to the yacht, Derek help us with the bags and I thank him. Harry just passes by him rudely, taking all the stairs to the last deck. I apologize for his rudeness and go right after him. This is the first time I see him like this, well, second. The first time was long ago when I first met him.

Obnoxious celebrity, I thought back then.

I arrive to the last deck and there he was, his body on one of the couches, his phone in his hand typing furiously on it.

"Harry?" I say, trying to gain his attention. He eventually moves his eyes to look at me, his face is serious.

"What?" He asks, more like a spat.

"Are you okay?" I ask, even when my question seems very stupid right now.

"What do you think?" He stands up, throwing his phone to the couch. "We were followed by paps the entire time, while we were trying to have some alone time. So, I'm great, darling, thanks for asking."

"You don't have to act this way. I barely even noticed them-" I say but he cuts me off, turning to look at me.

"Because you're not the one they are following! You're not used to them, of course. It's a fucking pain in the ass." He says loudly, running a hand through his hair. "Fucking bloody morons."

"I'm just saying that if you focus on something else you can actually have a good time." I say, a bit louder for him to listen. "You're giving them way too much attention."

"And what does the princess thinks I should do? Huh? Pose for them?" He yells, bringing one of his eyebrows up. "To answer their questions? Is that what you want?"

"God, you're so obnoxious sometimes." I say, getting a bit tired of all of this. "I really did not miss that part of you, we're all back to the beginning."

"What do you mean?" His voice lowers, but its still defensive.

"Look at the way you're acting! Just, look at yourself!" I technically yell. "All I was trying was to have a good time with you, to walk around and have fun. But no, you decided to act just like the way you did before I met you. Obnoxiously."

"Well, guess what, honey? That's just me being me." He says with a smile, a devious one. I huff, walking right pass him. I'm tired of all of this.

"Where are you going?" He suddenly asks, I turn my face to look at him.

"Somewhere else away from you. I can't stand you right now." I say truthfully, taking the stairs down.

I arrive to the first deck, I go outside to the front of the boat, feeling the light breeze on my cheeks. I take a deep breath, I have never liked fighting but I can't stop it when someone acts like that.

It takes me back to the day I met him. At first I did thought he was like this all the time. Spatting at everyone that crossed his way, all I knew about him was that he wasn't friendly with anyone and I never expected him to turned out the complete opposite. When he's with me, he is a total different person.

I just want him to be that person, his truly self, with me. I don't want to see him upset over things that don't matter.

After some minutes, I hear steps behind me. I keep looking forward, my elbows resting on the rail of the boat.

"I'm sorry." I hear his voice behind me, I take a deep breath. I don't want to fight again. "You were right, I was acting... Badly."

I turn around, looking at him. You can clearly see his face changed just in some minutes, he was fuming minutes ago and now he looks like a sad puppy.

"I just have one question and I want you to be sincere, okay?" I look at him, his green clear eyes looking at me. "Why do you give them so much attention? It's not new to you."

"I just don't like them. Just that." He takes a step forward, I have to move my face a bit up to still look at him. "And... It's the first time they follow me when you're around. It pissed me off even more."

He rests his hands on my waist, I give him a smile.

"You were worrying about me?" I giggle, that's really cute. "Harry. I was the one telling you to not pay attention to them. It doesn't matter to me."

"I know, I'm sorry." He says, placing a kiss to my forehead. "I'll try to behave if it happens again. I promise."

"Now, that's the Harry I know." I say, moving my hand to his face, caressing his cheek.

"What can I say... I'm a complete different me when I'm with you." He says, placing a kiss to my cheek. "You're my little anchor."
