Scene 4
April: *puts the basket in the table and sits in front of it* *gets the golden bottle and looks at it* Is this real gold? *opens cap* *will be surprised when mist comes out from the bottle*
Magus: *coughs* Finally I'm out of there. *coughs again*
April: *eyes widens* Who are you?! What are you doing here?!
Magus: *faces April* I must be asking the same questions, milady.
April: Mi-what?
Magus: *looks at the bottle that April is holding* Y-you freed me?
April: I what? *confused then figures it out* *looks at the bottle; eyes widens* Y-you mean you were inside?!
Magus: Yes, milady. I'm afraid you are right. Thank you for granting me my freedom. *tries to run away but fails*
April: Where are you going? Wait. Are you a genie?
Magus: *eyes widens* How did you—
April: So genies are real after all. Does that mean you can grant me wishes? Because I freed you? Huh? Huh? *eyes sparkles*
Magus: What are you talking about?
April: *disappointed* So the stories about you are just tales after all.
Magus: *confused* what stories? Do you mean you know genies exist? *whispers again* Oh no.
April: We know genies. But we don't know they—you—exist. We read about them in books.
Magus: *whispers* Oh no! This can't be. I must tell the queen about this exposure.
April: So, is it real you can do magic of any sort? *curious*
Magus: *whispers* Nobody must know that I am here. *speaks to April* Can you keep a secret?
April: *nods immediately*
Magus: If you'll help me find my parents, I can grant you three wishes.
April: *eyes started to sparkle again* Three wishes? Sure! Where are they?
Magus: They are-- *interrupted because he heard someone approaching* Someone's coming.
April: *flustered* Oh no! That must be Madam Carp. I need to hide you, quick! *points at the displayed dresses*
*Magus hides at the rack of dresses*
Madam Carp: Are you talking to someone?
April: S-someone? How come? I-I was just.. right! I was just talking to myself to entertain myself *laughs uncertainly*
Madam Carp: You've gone crazy. *shouts* You may take the fabrics inside.
*some men holding lots of cloths appear and put them in one place*
*one man will talk to Madam Carp*
Cloth man: They were exactly as you ordered. They cost 200 rubies.
Madam Carp: 200 rubies?! How come the price became that high? I ordered last week and it was only around 170 rubies.
Cloth man: The economy is down, Madame. You can't blame us for pricing the fabrics that high.
Madam Carp: Can't you lower the price for me? I'm a loyal customer after all.
Cloth man: I am sorry, Madame but if you can't pay the exact price, I'm afraid we need to pull them out. *signals his men to get the fabric*
Madam Carp: Wait. *pulls money from her pocket* Here. 200 rubies.
Cloth man: Thank you, Madame. *leaves with his men*
April: Are you bankrupt, Madame?
Madam Carp: What?! You! *hits April* How can you say that?
April: I'm sorry! * Madam Carp continuously hits her* I'm sorry, Madame!
