"Hey, you leave Adrien alone, you nosy old man!" Natalie yelled at him.

"Now, go before I call the police on you!" 

    "Natalie, why can you not leave the old man alone?"  Adrien asked.

   "I am sure he was harmless."

    Adrien wondered what the old man meant by what he told him. He pulled out a rag and dusted the lamp off.

   "Tell me you had not planned to keep that junk."

   "It is not a piece of junk. It is a treasure, and yes, I decided to keep it."

   "Fine, I will be upstairs, then." She went to her room. 

      Adrien heard what sounded like tears. Strange, there is no one else in the room. He searched for the source and discovered the noise came from the lamp. He jumped and backed into a corner as he saw steam rise from the object. It was a bright pink color.

     "Whoa, it is rather extraordinary."  

     Adrien stood there in shock. His lamp turned out to be special after all.
