*A month later*
January 4th

James and Paige are leaving the air port as they just landed in Newark, New Jersey and get in their rental car and start to leave.

James: You want to do anything before we go to the hotel?

Paige: Not today that jet lag sucks and I'm just extremely tired babe. I just want to get to the hotel and sleep for like ten days.

Paige chuckles a little as she smiles at James.

James smiles a little and holds Paiges hand while he drives and kisses it making Paige blush.

James: I love you.

Paige smiles and kisses James's cheek

Paige: I love you too.

James smiles as he continues to drive and holds Paige's hand.

James: I'll probably go to the gym if they have one. If they don't I'll just stay in the room with you and we can watch TV and maybe order some food?

Paige: I like that idea.

James smiles as Paige leans over and kisses his cheek as he continues to drive and pulls into the parking lot.

James: I'm right behind you babe.

James smiles at Paige as they get out and get their bags and start to walk into the hotel as they see a few other AEW wrestlers waiting.

James: Hey Tommy (Malakai Black) what's going on?

Tom: Apparently the rooms aren't ready yet. They said it would be a thirty to hour wait.

James nods as he looks at Paige and smiles at her.

Tom: They did say the bar is open and they're gonna keep it open for a while for us at least until the rooms are ready.

James: Alright bro. Me and Paige are just gonna go to the bar until the rooms are ready. Take care man.

James and Tom do a bro hug as James and Paige put their bags down near other peoples bags.

They start to walk to the bar and see more AEW wrestlers there as they sit in a booth and order some drinks.

James takes a sip of his drink and has his arm around Paige.

James: Hopefully after we get to our room we can just rest then tomorrow is Dynamite.

Paige: I just wanna sleep. I'm so tired!

Paige chuckles and James smiles and kisses her head.

James: I know you are babe. Just we need to wait.

Paige takes a sip of her drink before smiling at James.

Paige: How did I get so lucky?

James: I ask myself the same question every single day.

Paige smiles as they both lean towards each other and kiss softly as James puts his hand under Paige's chin as she smiles into the kiss.

They both pull back and look into each others eyes as James smiles and kisses Paige's head.

James: You don't seem very tired.

Paige giggles and smiles at James.

*The next morning*
January 5th

James wakes up to an empty bed and looks around as he smiles and hears the shower going.

James grabs his phone and looks at it seeing that it's half past ten and he gets up and stretches as he gets dressed and hears the shower turn off.

Paige walks out dressed and finishes drying her hair as she smiles at James and kisses him on the cheek as James smiles and leans down and kisses Paige softly.

James and Paige pull back from the kiss and smile at each other.

Paige: We should probably start leaving before we decide to just skip Dynamite and stay here.

James: Yea we probably should. Please lead the way babe.

Paige puts the towel back in the bathroom as she walks in front of James who smiles and grabs his keys as they start to leave the hotel.

*Later that day*

James is sitting on a production box listening to music to get himself ready for his match as he has his gear on.

Paige is getting her make up done and smiles in the mirror as she looks at herself

Paige: It looks great thanks.

James walks to where Paige is and smiles at her

James: Damn you look amazing babe.

Paige giggles and smiles as she has James lean down and kisses his cheek.

Paige: I love you babe.

James smiles and kisses Paige's head making her blush a little bit.

James: I love you too.

James looks and sees the person who just finished Paige's make up taking a picture of them and they chuckle a little.

James and Paige start to walk around the arena and go to their locker room and smile at each other as they sit down and James puts his arm around Paige as she lays her head on his chest.

James: So how you feeling? First Dynamite of 2022.

Paige: I'm confident that it's all gonna go good. Especially your parts on this show. Because soon maybe we'll both have gold.

James chuckles as he smiles and holds Paige's hand and kisses it making Paige smile up at him.

James: That would be nice. I mean if Tony has that much confidence in me it's his decision. That would be awesome though.

Paige: Well you don't know babe you might win a championship soon. I mean we have a few big events soon like Beach Break.

James nods a little as Paige kisses his cheek.

Paige: Besides I know whatever happens you'll do amazing.

James smiles as he kisses Paige softly who kisses back and wraps her arms around his neck. They continue the kiss as James puts his hands on Paige's hips making her smile into the kiss before they pull back.

James: We should probably get ready for the show shouldn't we.

James chuckles as Paige giggles a little and nods.

Paige: Yea we should.

*Midway through Dynamite*

JR: Ladies and Gentlemen up next we have a match with two men who have two very different styles.

Tony: You're right JR as up next we have Matt Sydal taking on James Fatality!!

Matt comes out and gets a good amount of cheers as he poses and puts his finger to his head.

Justin: The following contest is scheduled for one fall (ONE FALL!!) with a fifteen minute time limit. Introducing first from Clearwater, Florida weighing in at 185 pounds Matt Sydal!!!

Matt gets on the top rope and poses again as he hears the crowd cheer him and he smiles a little as he gets in the ring and takes off his jacket.

JR: Matt Sydal ready for this match but he must have forgotten who it's against.

James walks out and looks around as he gets booed and he smiles a little as he starts to walk down to the ring.

Justin: And his opponent from Atlanta, Georgia weighting in at 345 pounds he is the Genetic Monster...James Fatality!!

Tony: The presence of the arena changes when this man shows up and it's scary!

James grabs the ropes and steps onto the apron as he takes off his jacket and steps over the ropes before posing in the ring and getting booed loudly.

JR: And the fans don't seem to like this man!

James laughs as he hears the crowd boo and he goes to a corner and waits for the bell to ring.

Tony: Matt is gonna have to try and use his speed to possibly have a chance here.

The bell rings

James and Matt circle the ring and as James goes for a move Matt ducks it and goes behind James and hits him in the leg trying to make him fall but James elbows Matt sending him to the mat.

James grabs Matt by his hair and pulls him up as he does a biel throw across the ring and laughs a little.

JR: James Fatality laughing. He just seems to enjoy this!

James sees Matt starting to get up and grabs him by the head and hits a over the head suplex before he start to walk around the ring hearing the crowd boo him.

James: Sorry what was that!?

James grabs Matt by the arm and throws him to the ropes and goes for a lariat but Matt ducks it and hits a drop kick to James making him back up and Matt runs at him before James does a back body drop making Matt go over the ropes and land on the apron and James turns about is kicked in the head making him back up.

Matt grabs the ropes and goes for a springboard DDT but James stops it and holds Matt as he lifts him up into a suplex position and holds him there moving his arm and flexing before hitting the suplex and pinning Matt

1...2..

Matt kicks out and James chuckles

JR: James Fatality almost happy that Matt Sydal kicked out. He wants to inflict more pain to him!

James pulls Matt up and hits a lariat and holds onto Matt as he starts to fall and pulls him up and hits an exploder suplex before kipping up and smiling.

James runs and hits a springboard moonsault off the ropes and stands up as he grabs Matt by the throat and pulls him up hitting a chokeslam and looking around as the crowd boos him more.

Tony: JUST END THE MATCH JAMES!! YOU'VE HAD YOUR FUN!!

James waits for Matt to get up and as he does he kicks him in the gut and lifts him up hitting a Fatal Bomb and pinning Matt.

1...2...3

The bell rings

Justin: Here is your winner James Fatality!!

James stands up and calls over to a ring crew member to give him a mic and as he gets it he looks around.

James: Cut my damn music!

As James's music stops he smiles

James: Now if we all could just look at my record right now one more victory was added and I have never lost a one on one match my whole time here in AEW but I'm not in the main event of this Dynamite facing Kenny Omega for the AEW World championship but Bryan Danielson is. A man who just got here and immediately got a championship match? Bring that camera in I want everyone at home and backstage to see and hear this.

A camera gets closer to James as he smiles a little as the crowd boos.

James: What the hell has Bryan Danielson done in this company since he showed up? Nothing at all. What have I done? Beaten everyone in front of me and have never even been close to losing a match. Now in the main event I don't care who wins the AEW World championship because soon it won't matter because it'll be mine and I will show that I am the most dominant force not just in AEW but in the whole wrestling world.

James drops the mic and gets out of the ring walking up the ramp as he hears the announcers talk about the next match and he gets backstage.

James walks around and goes to his locker room to change and put on some different clothes as he changes and leaves the locker room and walks around the arena passing people.

*Elsewhere in the arena*

Britt Baker, Rebel, and Jamie are doing a promo.

Britt: Listen I don't care who my next opponent is I don't care who TK has me face at Beach Break I will walk out champion because this is the era of D.M.D.

Britt has a cocky smirk on her face as Rebel and Jamie are smiling as well with Jamie looking at the AEW womens championship as the promo ends.

Britt: Hey Paige your monster is walking up here.

Paige smiles and turns around as she walks up to James and kisses his cheek as James smiles a little and kisses Paige's head and she sits on a production box being close to eye level with James now.

Paige: Your promo was good babe.

James: Thanks but your match on Rampage will be even better. You're awesome in the ring.

Paige smiles and kisses James as he kisses back and they smile into it and James holds Paige's hand as they pull back.

Paige: So we gonna leave now and go back to the hotel?

James: Well I actually have one more thing to do tonight after that we'll leave and go to the hotel and get some food.

Paige: Sounds good to me.

*Main event*

Bryan Danielson and Kenny Omega has been going on for close to thirty-five minutes as they are both starting to feel the effects of the match and are getting exhausted quickly.

Bryan hits a kick to the side of Kenny's head making him fall into the ropes and grab them to hold himself up and he sees Bryan run at him and he hits a forearm making Bryan back up before he goes behind him and tries to hit a german suplex but Bryan lands on his feet and runs trying to hit a knee strike but Kenny ducks and Bryan hits the corner and falls down holding his knee.

JR: Bryan Danielson may have just injured his knee badly!

Kenny starts to walk over but the referee backs him up and Kenny starts talking to ref saying how Bryan can probably continue

Tony: You're right JR! Bryan may have injured his knee and what's this!? JAMES FATALITY IS COMING THROUGH THE CROWD!!!!

James Fatality jumps over the barricade and pulls Bryan out of the ring and hits a Fatal Bomb on the floor outside the ring and picks up Bryan Danielson and rolls him into the ring as he backs away from the ring.

JR: THAT SON OF A BITCH JAMES FATALITY MAY HAVE JUST COSTED BRYAN DANIELSON NOT JUST THE MATCH BUT THE AEW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!

The ref finally backs away from Kenny who sees his opportunity and runs over pulling Bryan away from the ropes and pinning him in the middle of the ring.

1...2...3

Tony: NO!!!!

The bell rings as Kenny gets up and grabs the ropes to stay up and is handed the AEW World championship.

Justin: Here is your winner and STILL!!!!! AEW World champion Kenny Omega!!!!!

JR: Thanks to that monster! That...That son of a bitch James Fatality!!! Kenny Omega is still the AEW World champion!!

James laughs as he's on the top of the ramp and hears the crowd booing both him and Kenny making him smile as AEW Dynamite ends with the camera going from James to Kenny in the middle of the ring with the AEW World championship.

*Later that same night*

James and Paige are sitting on the couch in their room as Paige is laying her head on James's chest and smiles up at him and kisses his cheek making James smile and hold Paige close to him.

Paige: I love you babe.

James: I love you too Paige.

James kisses Paige's head making her blush a little and close her eyes.

Paige: Let's go to sleep babe. I'm so tired.

James smiles a little as they get up and go to the bedroom.
