Hudson
I'm Hudson. My dad is Hansle. He was a pretty bad father. He left me in the woods when I was four. I wasn't supposed to be left yet. Lucky for me I had a great sister named Grace she wasn't thrown out, but she came out to me and her and I ran off.
Eventually we stumbled upon Alana and Cindy. Alana had long smooth flowing blonde hair. Her eyes looked so pure. She looked so kind. Little did I know that she was actually dying on the inside.
Cindy still looked hurt. She looked like she was ready to give up. We were freshman when we met. We've been friends ever since.
Alana let us live with her and her parents. Cindy probably would have done the same, but she was rarely at her own house.
Grace woke up and saw us sitting on the couch. She was in that stage were she was practically still asleep.
"Alana, did you get any sleep last night? I bet you were freezing." She asked.
"Well at first I was, but then someone offered to share to share their blanket with me." Alana responded.
"That was nice of Cindy."
"It wasn't Cindy. Once that girl is asleep nothing will wake her up. I'm still debating on whether or not Arura is her real mom."
"Yeah I guess coconuts are pretty cool. Elemelephants are cooler though."
"What?" She turned and looked at me confused.
"She's really drowsy. She's practically still asleep, she's dreaming still even. She knows when your talking to her, but it takes her a while to register what you actually said. Just wait she'll get it." I whispered.
"Wait. If it wasn't Cindy. Then it was Hudson. Oh my goodness you two snuggled. You're a couple." Grace said excitedly after a little while.
"Yeah we are." I said. I turned and looked at Alana, smiling at her slightly.
I looked into her eyes. She looked happy and peaceful. That exact moment was when I realized that I was in love with Alana. She was wearing old sweat pants with a plain baggy t-shirt on. Her hair was messy and all over the place, but in that moment I loved her more than I thought possible. She was herself. I loved herself.
Grace left the room to get some food. I turned to Alana and prepared myself for anything she was gonna throw at me.
"Wanna go somewhere?" She asked.
"Like were?" I asked.
"I don't know. Just not here."
"Sure."
"Alright let's leave Grace and Cindy a note." We both wrote down a "professional" letter telling them what was going on. It read:
Dearest friends and family,
We have gotten very bored of sitting in a quiet motionless room. So we have so elegantly fell out of the window. We have no clue as to were we are going we just know that we're going somewhere. Try not to miss us to much, give consuala our best, and have fun.
Sincerely,
Hudson and Grace
Just like the note said, Alana and I fell out of the window and ran in no particular direction. When we stopped we found ourselves in a forest. I was terrified of forests. They were the homes of witches.
I grabbed Alana's hand in a search for comfort.
"Hey Alana. Let's get out of here." I whispered.
"Why? This is awesome." Alana said. I looked at her in panic.
"Let's just go."
"Oh. That's right. You're afraid of forests. I'm so sorry." She kissed me then dragged me out of the woods.
This time we stopped at an ice cream shop. We both sat on the same side of the booth. She ordered a vanilla ice cream cone. I don't even remember what I ordered.
"I'm so sorry. I got distracted and I completely blanked out. Can you ever forgive me?" Alana begged.
"Alana. I can't forgive you if you did nothing wrong. I know that you love forests, and you don't have to keep track of everything I do. It's fine." I responded.
"No it's not fine. I should have remembered that you're afraid of forests."
"I've only told you that once. And only for a brief moment too. A lot has happened since then. I would never expect you to remember something like that."
"So you promise you're not mad at me."
"Promise." She smiled then kissed me.
A girl from school who was waitressing there, walked by us and sat down in the empty side of the booth. Susey White. The daughter of Snow White. She's the most popular girl at school, and ironically enough she was very selfish.
"Hey Hud. What are you doing here?" She cooed.
"Don't call me that, and I'm eating ice cream with my girlfriend." I responded. Only my friends were aloud to call me Hud.
"Girlfriend? Her? You had a choice between me or her, and you chose her?"
"You weren't one of my choices. I don't want to date you and I never will."
"Ugh. But I'm so much prettier then her."
"No you're not. Come on Alana let's go." I paid for the ice cream and left.
