Elijah's return to the compound brought comfort to Lizzie, however, he was not the same as he was before. When Klaus returned to the compound with Elijah, he explained that Esther put him under some spell that would cause him pain and misery which he was suffering from now. Klaus assured Lizzie that he would come out of it unharmed and back to normal, but deep down Lizzie knew something was wrong.

Hayley had left to the Bayou in hopes of getting Jackson to help come up with a plan to go after Finn. As Lizzie walked into the room, Klaus groaned in pain as he continued to break through, but the is quickly ripped off of Elijah by a worried Lizzie.

"What are you doing?" Lizzie asked.

Klaus was startled, pants in an attempt to catch his breath as he wipes the blood from his nose.

"I'm trying to enter Elijah's thoughts to wake him. Esther's locked me out." Klaus explained as he gestured to Elijah.

Lizzie sighed, walking over to Elijah, noticing a flower petal-shaped wound on his neck and asked "Is this rash a side effect of the witchy acid trip he's on?"

Klaus frowns and returns to Elijah's bedside to examine the wound more carefully.

"I haven't see this since I was a child. Mikael would return home from battle more blindly temperamental than usual, and my mother would use the petals of a rare merlock orchid to put him to sleep. She would mend his mind with a spell, and then wake him with the roots of the same plant. If she has access to it now, then maybe it also grows in the Bayou. You stay here." Klaus said, turning to the girls looking hopeful.

Lizzie scoffed, rolling her eyes "I'd rather rip your mother's head off."

" Stay clear of her. I mean it, Lola. She already got to you once."Klaus told her seriously.

"I don't care. I care about Elijah and I want to help!"Lizzie stated.

Klaus sighed, understanding their determination to help "I know you do, my love. What would happen if Elijah were to wake and find you a victim of her madness? Elizabeth, please. I know you hate being told what to do for once, please...do as you're told."

"Okay, fine, but enough with talking to be like we're children. I won't go after her. I promise."Lizzie shrugged.

Klaus kissed his wife before he left.

Lizzie muttered quietly once she was sure the Mikaelson brothers were gone "I've learned a few things from your mother. I won't go after her. I'll go after everything that she loves."

Meanwhile, After Hayley's meet up with Jackson out in the Bayou for Oliver's funeral, she came back without him by her side which annoyed her. So Aiden moves onto the second in command since Oliver was now gone. The two arrived to Marcel's loft for a plan along with Lizzie.

"Where is your Alpha?" Marcel asked from the chair he's lounging in.

"Unavailable."Hayley sighed.

"So, you brought Junior Varsity? You know, I'm getting a little tired of you using my place as a den for wayward wolves." Marcel asked, looking at Aiden.

"Well, it was just that we were going to, uh, take down Finn Mikaelson today, and considering how he treated your vampires, I assumed that you would want in on the bloodbath." Hayley told him.

"I'm listening." Marcel said.

Aiden, Hayley and Lizzie sit across from him on the couch.

"Well...It's not gonna be easy. He's surrounded by a pack of juiced-up wolves. He doesn't have a weakness." Aiden trailed, clearing his throat.

"He does, actually! And, I have her on speed dial!" Marcel smirked and pulls his phone out of his pocket.

Hayley and Aiden look at him in confusion as he says "He's got a thing for Cami."

"Klaus will go ballistic if you get Cami involved in this. I mean he like her as a friend even though he would never admit it."Hayley stated.

"Klaus ain't here! And Cami? Well, she's got this thing about people telling her what she can and can't do! I trust you, of all people, understand."Marcel shrugged and looks around the loft before he speed dials Cami and holds the phone up to his ear.

Hayley chuckled.

Josh arrived at the loft to begin help plan a way to handle Finn Mikaelson. He sits along with Aiden on the couch who lays out a map on the coffee table, while Marcel stands looking at it, and Hayley and Lizzie sits on the chairs next to him.

"Cami said Vincent wants to meet at Preservation Hall. But, he won't be unprotected. There will be wolves positioned here and here." Aiden told them as he points to different spots on the map.

"Can we keep this alley open?" Marcel asked as he pointed points to a different location on the map.

Aiden nodded in confirmation.

"Alright, I'll wait there and rip Vincent's head off." Hayley ays harshly.

"Nah, he'll body-jump." Marcel told her, shaking his head.

Cami entered suddenly with a file box in her hands.

"Vincent's head stays on. He'll have a hard time answering questions without it."Cami told them as she opened the box, and the rest of them start to look through it.

"Sweet, it's a big box of dusty old junk. We're saved!" Josh says sarcastically as he stands up.

Aiden smiles despite himself. Marcel starts to go through the contents of the box.

"They're dark objects my uncle left for me. I've been cataloging them according to Kieran's notes. As far as I can tell, these can be used against witches specifically." Cami laughed at his sarcasm.

Marcel pulls a pair of shackles attached to a chain out of the box, and when Hayley sees them, she smirked "Seems like your uncle had some weird kinks."

Josh laughed.

" Ah, I remember these! A hundred years ago, the Human Faction waged a war against the Voodoo Queens. They had a traitor spell these manacles. Slap 'em on a witch, they can't do magic as long as they're on." Marcel said as he sets the shackles back into the box.

"Alright, we're not gonna get the 'Handcuffs of Doom' on him while he's surrounded by a werewolf entourage." Josh pointed out.

"We can just lure him away. I can do that." Aiden shrugged as if it's not a problem.

"Cami, if we do this, you're the bait. Are you sure you're okay with that?" Lizzie asked, worried for her friend.

Everyone looks at her waiting for an answer. Cami looks slightly nervous, but she shakes it off and said "Make it look convincing. The guy's really smart."

With the plan about Finn in action, the group could only hope that it'll actually go through and they can feel Finn into the church so they can restrain him. Luckily it did, and Cami came back to the church safely although she had an ugly looking werewolf bite on her neck. Aiden does his part by talking to Finn while Hayley helps the human carefully leans on the sacristy.

"Well, he bought it. His locator spell will bring him here without the bodyguards." Aiden says after he ended the call with Finn and walks toward the group.

Hayley bites her wrist and drips her blood into a golden cup used for comminion while Cami watches her and said "I always thought having a woman's mouth on my neck would be more erotic."

"You'll heal fast. Let's get all these lights off. Here you go." Hayley chuckled as she hands Cami the cup of her blood, which she drinks to heal her wound.

Aiden and Josh walked away from the girls as Cami finishes the cup of blood while making some faces.

"Okay, tell me the plan one more time." Cami says.

"Aiden's gonna get Vincent to the altar, and then I'm gonna jump him. He's powerful, though, so we only have a few seconds to get the shackles on him."Hayley said.

"Where's Marcel?" Cami asked.

"He's looking for Davina. He heard she was back in town." Lizzie replied.

"Overprotective-dad stuff?" Cami asked.

"If you want to call ripping Kol Mikaelson into a thousand little pieces 'protective dad stuff', then, yeah. That's it." Lizzie shrugged and Cami laughs and blots the blood off her neck with a towel.

Suddenly after a long moment, Aiden slides down the aisle, slamming into a pew and knocking himself out due to Finn telekinetically throwing him. Josh, unable to help himself, vamp-speeds toward Aiden to make sure he's okay, not noticing right away that Finn is storming down the aisle after him. Josh freezes in fear as Finn spreads his arms wide, lighting all of the candles and turning on all of the lights of the church. Josh stands in a defensive position, but Finn easily snaps his neck with a flick of his wrist before continuing to walk down the aisle.

"Camille! CAMILLE!" Finn calls out for the blonde. Hayley appears out of nowhere behind Finn and tackles him to the ground. Finn tries to crawl away but she then appeared behind him and said "First, I'm going to kick your ass. Then, I'm going to take my pack back."

"Your pack? Last I checked, your pack was blindly following me." Finn laughed and quickly stands up to face her.

"You wanna talk about following? How do your mother's boots taste?" Hayley asked then kicks Finn in the face, splitting her lip, but she continues to laugh

"What have you two done with Cami?" Finn asked and Hayley chuckled.

"Beats me. Don't you think it's good that she's away from you?" Hayley laughs sarcastically and shrugs, and Finn telekinetically throws her down the aisle, causing her to end up on the ground.

Finn managed to stand on his feet and said "Hybrids die by losing their head or their heart. And, given the choice..."

Finn screamed out, clutching the side of his head as Lola comes into view giving him an aneurysm with magic. Her eyes darken as her protective instincts immediately comes immediately into play over Hayley.

"Careful, how you finish that sentence, mama's boy."Lizzie snarled.

"Oh well, even better."Finn inhaled a sharp breath, fighting against Lizzie's spell before he laughed "You may be a heretic and strong, but not as much as me."

He begins to cast a spell as he makes a fist with his hand and thrusts it toward Lizzie as he walked towards her "Le specto tre colo ves bestia! Le specto tre colo ves bestia!"

Lizzie's brows furrow as she clutches her chest when she started to spit up blood. The front of her shirt started showing a blood stain as he tried to magically rip out Kiara's heart.

However, Finn's spell quickly stopped when Luke rushed out of the shadows. Luke magically pushed Finn to the ground, stomping his foot against Finn's leg with force as the sound of Finn's bones breaking echo through the church as he screamed out.

"Touch her again and I'll kill you myself."Luke threatened.

Finn grunted as he feels hands pulling him up, his eyes widening as he sees a sinister smile against Luke's face. Before Finn can do any sort of magic to protect him, Luke punched him with force and throws Finn down the aisle of the church as Luke helps his twin sister up from the ground. Cami comes out from behind the alter, slamming the shackles onto Finn's wrists.

He gapes at her, clearly feeling betrayed by her role in this plan. He tries to fight against her with magic, but the manacles are blocking him.

"You would have done the same thing to me, Finn." Cami spat.

Later, at the compound, Klaus arrived home and heads straight for Elijah's room, where he is still sleeping fitfully. Klaus takes out the handkerchief Ansel gave him, and starts smearing the poultice onto Elijah's neck as he said quietly "We were innocent once, Elijah."

Klaus' voice continues to echo into Elijah's dream, where Young Elijah is still running around the forest. He falls to his knees in the clearing, exhausted. In the present day, Klaus continues to treat Elijah's wounds "This bloodlust was forced upon us by our parents, turning us from prey to predator. We're the demons lurking in shadow. We are the savage villains in fairy tales taught to children. But, not for my children . Not for Hope and Theo. In their stories, we are knights in shining armor. Without you by my side, I don't think I can survive my own love for my children. I need you. I need you, brother. The monster in me can only be challenged by the monster in you."

In Elijah's dream, Adult Elijah, still splattered in blood, stares at Young Elijah. Suddenly, modern-day Klaus appears in the woods before Young Elijah and grips his shoulder comfortingly.

In the dream, Klaus echoes, "By the monster in you. Only together can we fight our demons and save our family."

In the dream, Klaus hands Young Elijah a stake before he leaves. Thunder and lightning crashes overhead as he sees Adult Elijah standing nearby, staring at him. Adult Elijah lunges for him, but Young Elijah yells at the top of his lungs as he stakes him in the heart, causing Elijah to finally wake up with a gasp. They're both shocked to see the other, but after a moment, Klaus smiles at him as he said "Welcome back, Elijah."

A few moments later, Klaus enters Elijah's bedroom, where he's getting dressed in his usual suit and tie. He's holding a leather-bound notebook in his hands, and looks as though he wants to say something. After a moment, Elijah turns toward him.

"What is it?" Elijah asked.

" I spent the day with my father. My real father." Klaus said.

Elijah looks stunned speechless, and sits down on his bed.

"Esther brought him back from the dead, believing he could convince me to renounce vampirism. The thought of what I could be, had I been raised by him. Had I been nurtured. This was his." Klaus said as he hands Elijah the notebook, and he opens it to find a sketch of a much younger Klaus inside.

"He knew about the children."He then explained.

Elijah immediately shuts the notebook and rises to his feet, shocked once again.

"I wanted to trust him more than anything in the world. I...I wanted to, but... I couldn't be sure. And, I would never forgive myself if something happened to them because of my selfish desire for a father. So, I killed him. Without hesitation. I killed him." Klaus trailed off, unable to put into words what he did and what he feels.

"You killed them for the children. And whatever innocence remains, we must protect at any cost."Elijah told him.

Elijah walks until he's face-to-face with Klaus and hands him the notebook.

Klaus started to cry and Elijah hugged him in comfort.

Once Klaus had no more tears left for the death of Ansel, Klaus asked "Now, how do you feel, Elijah?"

"The worst has past. Though, I suspect the nightmares are far from over." Elijah answered.

"Well, gather your strength. After the message we sent Mother tonight, I expect hell-fire to rain upon us imminently." Klaus told him.

Marcel, Lizzie and Hayley walked in.

"Well, actually, moves were made while you were sleeping." Marcel said to Elijah.

" It's good to see you vertical."Lizzie smiled.

"Marcel and us each left a gift for you in the ballroom. You're welcome." Hayley added.

Klaus looks at Elijah, who gestures toward the door. As they pass Marcel on their way out, he whispers to them under his breath "You're welcome."

Klaus and Elijah arrive in the ballroom, where they find both Kol and Finn, each wearing the enchanted manacles, which are suspending them from the balcony by their wrists. Klaus and Elijah were very pleased.

"Kidnapping? That's a rather unpleasant way to begin a family reunion!" Kol said incredulously.

"Well, wait until you see how we end it!" Klaus grinned.
