At the Mikaelson mansion, Hayley sits on the couch, flipping through a book, and Lizzie sits on the loveseat, looking at her phone. Both girls are talking to Agnes. Over a coffee table, Rebekah sits and types on a laptop. Luke was off with Klaus.

Lizzie was a sweater with a green pant and some boots.

"She already told you Agnes, she  feel great!"Hayley said.

"She's overdue for a checkup."Agnes insisted.

Honestly, the way she was insisting was odd, it felt like she had some ulterior motive.

"What am I gonna do? Pop into the Quarter for a quick ultrasound? A pregnant siphon escorted by a witch? Nothing to see here!"Lizzie asked.

"A lot of women would kill to have a child. It strikes me as odd that you're not taking better care of yours." Rebekah said, midly jealous.

"I know a doctor out in the Bayou, off the beaten path. Now, I took the liberty of making an appointment for you. Tonight, after-hours, just us. Vampires will never get word of it." Agnes explained.

Hayley and Lizzie think for a moment and look at each other. Lizzie rolled her eyes in reluctant agreement.

Lizzie sighed "Okay, fine. Bayou-baby doctor it is. But Hayley is coming with me."

Agnes, Lizzie and Hayley leave the room.

Later on, it was dark and Agnes drove Hayley and Lizzie up to the obstetrician in the Bayou in her car. 

Lizzie turned to Agnes with an incredulous look and asked "This is the doctor's office?"

"Dr. Paige is only this far out because Marcel's men kept terrorizing her patients."Agnes explained, calmly before turning to Lizzie  and said "Go! She won't bite!"

Hayley and Lizzie nervously exit the car and walk toward the clinic. Once they were out of earshot, Agnes calls someone on her cellphone. Agnes frowned before she said "Send them in now and tell them to do it quickly."

Some time later, Dr. Paige was giving Lizzie an ultrasound, and they could hear the fatal heartbeats. 

Dr. Paige said "Your babies' heart rates are perfect."

Lizzie smiled in return "I knew it. They're tough one, like their mom."

Dr. Paige chuckled and hands her a tissue to wipe the ultrasound gel off of her abdomen, which she does. 

Dr. Paige noticed on Hayley's crescent-moon shaped birthmark on her shoulder and she smiled tightly.

"That's a unique birthmark." Dr. Paige stated.

"We're pretty much done here, right?"Hayley asked, reaching for her jacket.

Lizzie gets a text from Rebekah, which reads 'Where are you?'.

"Your blood pressure is a bit high, I've got something for it." Dr. Paige said.

Lizzie watched as she walked away, to where Agnes was waiting in the next room. She texted 'Bayou clinic with doctor' to Rebekah. Suddenly, a wolf howls loudly, startling the girls. Lizzie looked out the window and sees a car's headlights approaching, which makes her suspicious and anxious. Dr. Paige returned with Lizzie's medication.

"Ahh, you know, I'm...I'm actually not that good with pills."Lizzie lied.

"Heh, neither am I, truth be told." Dr. Paige said nervously.

Dr. Paige sets the medicine cup on the table and starts preparing something. A group of intimidating-looking men walk into the clinic and whisper something unintelligible to Agnes. Lizzie turns around to see Dr. Paige preparing a syringe, and the doctor lunges at Lizzie to inject her with it. However, Hayley grabbed her arm and pushed it away from her, headbutts the doctor to disorient her, and then stabbed the syringe into the doctor's neck, causing her to pass out onto the floor.

When the men in the lobby see what happened, they run toward the door, but Lizzie used her magic to shut and lock it before they can enter. One of the men rattles the doorknob as Hayley struggled to open the window to escape. When they finally get in, the two girls have already escaped and run away from the clinic.

The men who raided the clinic were still looking for Lizzie and Hayley in the woods behind the clinic, and they pass them, not seeing that they were hiding behind a tree. Hayley runs up to them and kicked the first man she encounters in the gut before knocking him to the ground. Lizzie jumped and kicked the second man down as well as she snapped his neck with magic. A third man tried to attack Hayley, but she grabbed a knife from his hands and cuts his neck with it as she spins in the air. When a fourth lunged to Lizzie, she waved her hand and he was decapitated with magic.

As Hayley crouches into a defensive position on the ground, her eyes flash werewolf-gold as she looked around for any more threats. A large, burly man descends upon the girls, but before Hayley or Lizzie can react, his neck is snapped from behind by Rebekah.

"Have to say, we're impressed."Rebekah smiled.

"How did you find us?" Lizzie asked.

"Your text got me halfway, vamping here did the rest. Who are they?" Rebekah informed before glancing at the dead men.

"Witches. Warlocks. Whatever."Lizzie said.

Rebekah turned her head and noticed more men with flashlights in the distance and she warned "There're more of them. Run!"

Hayley and Lizzie reluctantly heed her warning. Rebekah muttered to herself "If I had a dollar for every mess my family has got me into..."

Rebekah is then shot in the heart with two arrows which temporarily neutralize her and she falls to the ground. Hayley and Lizzie see the female original go down and watch in horror.

Lizzie and Hayley both exclaimed "Rebekah!"

Hayley was shot in the shoulder with an arrow, which seems to be coated in something that causes her to pass out and fall to the ground as well. Lizzie continued to run away from the men.

Later, Lizzie makes her way back to the doctor's office, hoping to find someone that can help her. Klaus, Hayley, Luke and Rebekah walk outside. When they exit the building, they saw Lizzie stumbling toward her, her clothes tattered and dirty. Lizzie looked dazed as the three Mikaelson and the wolf girl and the siphon boy run toward them.

"Elizabeth! What happened? Tell me what happened."Klaus demanded urgently, his hands on her shoulders.

"I can't remember."Lizzie said, groggily.

Klaus anxiously examined Lizzie for any wounds.

Klaus said "You've completely healed. There's not a scratch on you."

Lizzie blinked "Vampire blood. The babies... they've got vampire blood in them because of you. So now I do too."

Rebekah runs over to Lizzie and wrapped an arm around her protectively.

"Leave her alone!"Rebekah says.

Luke thinks for a moment, before he said "It's the babies. The vampire blood _ Klaus' vampire blood ... in your system. It can heal any wound."

Klaus' eyes widened. Then he smiled, wonder filling his face.

"Your own children healed you."Rebekah said, looking at Lizzie.

Rebekah asked Lizzie and Hayley "How did you two escape? You were outnumbered, unarmed?"

Lizzie said "Not me. But the men were shredded. Not my doing. Unless I suddenly developed claws."

"Definitely not me. I think it was the wolf. It's been following us... protecting us. Maybe it senses the babies." Hayley added.

"The witches were supposed to protect you! When I get my hands on Sophie Deveraux..." Klaus shouted angrily pacing around them.

"It wasn't Sophie. It was Agnes."Hayley corrected.

"Fine! Agnes, Sophie, it's all the same to us! I'll slaughter the lot of them!" Klaus shouted with animosity.

"Not if Elijah gets there first." Rebekah stated.

"Elijah? Did you find him?"Lizzie asked.

"He's been in touch, and he has a plan. All he asks is that we take care of you." Rebekah answered.

"Hey, so... can we go home now? I'd really like to sleep for a few days..." Lizzie said as she stumbled to her feet starting to walk the car only for her legs to give up.

Klaus catches her, lifting her in bridal style.

Lizzie leaned into his chest closing her eyes as she said "My hero."

"Ooh, I've got you, love. I've got you." Klaus told her.

Rebekah, Hayley, Luke and Klaus walk toward their car. Lizzie still in Klaus' arms.
