Still one day?! I heard Ruby groan. How do you know that? Diamond asked. I brought a calendar and a wristwatch with me smarti pants. Diamond stuck her tongue out. Look! Crystal screamed. I see meteoroids and other planets! We all ran to the small window next to the mini tv. I saw nothing in the pitch black middle of nowhere. What? Where? I asked. Up there dummie! Crystal yelled at me in my face, spit going everywhere. Oh. Now I see it! Space is so beautiful. I heard Diamond say. She looked so dreamy even though I can't be sure since she was sticking her face to the window not letting any of us see. The next minute none of us were looking out the window. I am so bored! I said looking up at the ceiling trying to count how many stains there are. I'm hungry. Said Crystal. Can we go see what mom and dad are up to? Diamond asked. No! Stop whining! Ruby said. Dad told me I am in charge because they went to get our breakfast in the main office! She was really red now. No one said a word. It felt like an hour till mom and dad came back holding 6 juices, 3 huge melossas (which are a type of blueberry as big as a melon, at least that's what my sister's book says), 4 tickling breads and 6 cheese sticks. Yum Ruby and I said at the same time. Jinx I said right after. Ruby can you please hold this for me? My mom asked. My sister nodded. That's one. I said. Rubyyyyyyy said Crystal to annoy me. One more. Ruby. Diamond said. Her face not seen since it was covered with her book. Really!!! I asked. Ha! I heard Ruby say. We all grabbed food and shoved it into our mouthes. Murff fa fro? Diamond asked stuffing her face with tickling bread. The bread probably tickled her badly because she was now coughing. After watching her drink lots of juice and my dad slapping her back so she would feel better, she started to say, I tried to ask you why you took so long dad. There was a really long line for food and we met many people so we started to talk and ya. So you let is suffer here? Doing nothing and being tortured by Ruby? My Crystal said. I began to laugh. How she said it was so weird, especially when Ruby made an angry face at her.
Two weeks had passed and we were almost at Earth. My sisters and I made many new friends, explored the area and the best part of all, I completely forgot how sad I was about leaving Gem. We made a club and discovered new planets we had never seen like a planet called Neptune and Saturn. Days and nights had passed until we got natural light from a really big star called something like the Sun. And before anyone had noticed, we were already landing. The really old speaker lady came on telling us to press the red button again. My family did as were told and we got to the planet Earth! We said by to our space friends and we got to this unusual airport.
