//Max's POV//

I followed Y/n up the staircase in her big ass house.

"Jesus Christ why is your house so damn huge??" I asked.

"My mom's a doctor and my dad's a lawyer."

"Damn."

"Yeah, it's cool I guess."

She pointed to a door across the hall, "That's the bathroom, in case you need to go."

She then led me to her room, "and this is my escape from the world."

(Ok since i don't feel like describing a room and yellow is my favorite color and Pinterest is my best friend and this is my story sooo..)

"You're room is just so..you."

"Bad?"

"No, it's cute, like you," I winked at her, wanting to get the same reaction like before.

As I knew she would, she hid her blushing face in her small hands.

'Too adorable.'

I sat on her bed, resting my head on my hand, "so you think hiding your face will keep me from knowing how flustered you are?"

"Shut up!" She hissed, flopping on the bed next to me.

She then groaned loudly, "fuck school, fuck my life, fuck my parents, fuck it all."

"And it only gets worse," I pat her on the shoulder.

"Except you, Max, you're cool," She turned her head to face me, her eyes puffy.

"Thanks, Y/n. You're cool too."

"So, what do you want to do if you don't want to work on homework?" She asked sitting up.

"I thought you wanted to take a nap," I stated.

"I do, but I don't want to make you bored so.."

"I'll take a nap with you, then," I laid down next to her, our faces close together.

"You sure?"

"Yeah, I'm tired myself. Once we wake up we can do something else."

Y/n closed her eyes and sighed, "Wake me when I'm dead."

"Same for me."

She actually fell asleep before me, her soft breathing was cute to watch, after all.

I smiled and I ruffled her hair, softly enough to not wake her.

"Too cute," I mumbled as I slowly began to fall asleep.

I woke up realizing I wasn't in my room.

I then noticed I had Y/n in my arms, her face buried in my chest.

I smiled as I watched her sleep, her body twitching ever so slightly.

Why did I adore her so much, I don't know.

Why I was so protective was an even bigger question.

While I was thinking I got a text on my phone.

I also looked to see the time was around 3, so we weren't sleeping for that long.

It was from Neil.

And that's when I put my phone back down, and when Y/n decided to wake up.

"Hey, sleepyhead," I turned to her.

"Ugh...what time is it??" She rubber her eyes.

"3:11" I looked at my phone.

"Oh we still have time."

"A lot of time. I didn't think you'd wake up for a while, sleeping beauty."

"What can I say? I was tired," She smiled as she sat up.

"Was I a comfy pillow?" I asked, trying to get her flustered again, since it made her shy and it was cute.

"W-W-What do you mean??" Her face went red.

She began to nervously play with her hair, which was absolutely adorable.

"I mean," I leaned in, putting my thumb on her chin, "Did you like sleeping with me?"

And yes, I tried to make it sound as dirty as possible.

Y/n jumped back, "sHit I- I- did bUT LIKE WOW yOu-"

She then started stuttering incomprehensibly causing me to laugh.

"You're such an ass, you know that?" She crossed her arms.

"Aww, don't be mad at me tiny, I just like to see you so shy, it's cute."

"You're so mean.." She sighed and turned away from me.

"I wouldn't turn your back on me if I were you," I smirked.

"Yeah, or what?" Y/n scoffed playfully.

"I warned you, Princess."

"w-wait what did you call me-"

"Here comes the tickle monster!"

"wAIT NO STOP—" Y/n tried to stop me before laughing when I got her.

"Too late!" I faked an evil laugh.

"pLEASE, MAX, STOP ITTTT—"

Y/n was rolling so much that she fell off the bed and I came tumbling after her, causing us to land in a sort of...suggestive position...
