To a Gay Bar

Zach and Miles were the only ones that wore something different.

Miles wore a black leather cat suit which showed his every curve and Zach wore a simple black leather shirt which he tucked in his leather trousers. The actor didn't waste any more time before he got his compass out and asked everyone to follow him.

Nathan didn't mind. He was tired of being the leader after those four or rather five days journey to the side of the forest they were in.

They were walking across a log and Nathan had decided to just follow and keep the questions to himself.

After letting off some steam in his room, he couldn't handle looking at Doug so he stayed at the back which was far away from him.

Nathan had a good view of all their butts and even though they looked hot, he was starting to get amused by it.

Ramus wore the cop outfit which didn't look all too sexy on him but Brian in the playsuit covered up for that.

This part of the forest was not as dense as the part they originally came from and it made the walk less annoying because there weren't no heavy leaves slapping them in the face.

This part was filled with thin trees, little rocky caves, not much miniature animals like Raccoons or squirrels but it had bugs. It was a better place to live in than the place they lived in first.

Nathan caught John staring at him but he quickly looked away before he could make sense of that so he ignored it.

Everyone was walking with their partner except Michael who was chatting with Dave and Nathan, who preferred to be alone. Alone to think but it was getting annoying when all he wanted to know was what John said to Doug.

Did Doug say he liked him? Did John really mean what he said? Did Nathan have a chance?

Much more questions came pouring into his head none stop and he began to panic, losing the will in him to make any move on Doug.

However, all that seemed to settle down when they started to hear music. It was loud and extremely familiar. It made Nathan feel a bit relaxed for some reason but that was probably why music was made.

The men found themselves at the top of a hill and looked down at the stream whose source was from the waterfall up ahead. And that was when they saw where the music was coming from.

They ran down gently so they won't roll of the steeply hill and got to the bottom safely.

Nathan got to the stream, fetched a hand full of water and drank it. He didn't even know he was that thirsty until then. A couple others came to join him as he started to pour water on himself. He felt relived to have the cold water soaking his sun kissed skin because the leather was making him really uncomfortable.

"We will just head up to that bar over there and when you are done, try and catch up." Zach nodded at them and it was like he and Nathan had some kind of mutual agreement.

"Sure. I'll take who's left over."

Zach nodded vigorously then said to the men behind him, "First to get there gets to dance with one of the strippers." He started to run but when the men made no move to run after him, he stopped then turned slowly to them, clearly irritated. "Why is no one running?"

"How are we going to get up there?" Brian asked, pointing at the bar that just happens to be at the top of the waterfall.

"We climb?" he shrugged, "It's not exactly high."

"You want us to climb?" Marc rose a brow at him. Nathan watched the fuss silently and a thought came to him when he noticed the hill they came down from led directly to the bar.

Standing up, he walked between the angry man and the stressed men and said, "How about we just climb back to the top of the hill and go all the way from here," he pointed at the place they came down from and trailed his finger to the bar, "all the way to there?"

They noticed the path and Miles was the first to say anything, "That is smart. Why didn't we think of that?" He smiled at him and Nathan blushed.

He managed a smile back at him and turned to Zach, "Wanna take the lead?"

Zach narrowed his bushy brows at him and said, "Of course." He gave him one last look before walking back to the hill.

The rest of the men shrugged and followed him. All except Nathan and Doug.

Nathan sat on a rock, pulled his trousers up and ducked his legs into the water. He tried not to notice Doug but how can that be possible when he came to sit beside him, their bodies practically rubbing against each other.

Nathan stayed silent and just stared out into the woods, hoping the other would either leave or start the conversation.

Doug sighed and picked up a stone then said as he looked at it, "John said he loved me."

The shock and pain he had felt that day John admitted it hit him again but this time with a lot more pain than shock. "But he also said he wasn't ready for it."

When Nathan didn't say a word he continued, "He said he wasn't ready to have any romantic or sexual relationship with a man."

They both fell quiet and Nathan was starting to feel the tension in the air. "And you are telling me this why?" He glanced at him and Doug threw the stone.

"I just thought you should know." He looked him one last time before leaving the rock to follow the men.

Nathan knew he wouldn't be able talk about it later and he felt guilty about this morning's incident. There would be no better time to talk to him than now. Plus, he did say John was a bit out of the picture.

"Doug!" He shouted when he saw that the man was half way up the hill.

Doug turned and rose a brow at him, "What?"

"I'm sorry for my crappy attitude before and back at the cabin when I told you to leave. I didn't mean all that."

"It's fine. See you at the bar." He turned to continue climbing.

Nathan started to panic. He didn't want him gone. If only he had paid attention to him when he talked about John. John!

"I'm sorry about John but I guess it's normal." He quickly said, hoping he would bite the bait.

Doug froze in his step then slowly turned to him, "What about it is normal?"

"He's in denial. He still doesn't want to believe that he could be attracted to a man." He answered and beamed when he saw Doug approaching.

"Then why did he admit it? Why did he make me feel like I was wanted only to drop the bomb that he was scared? Tell me, Nathan," he stopped in front of him and rose a neat brow at him, "Why?"

Nathan didn't know so he shrugged and said, "I guess it just fitted the moment."

"Just fitted the moment?" He crossed his arms over his chest and narrowed his eyes at him.

They both stayed quiet and just stared at each other. Nathan felt like he was drilling holes in him and if he didn't do anything soon, he'd be dead.

"H-How about I buy you a drink?"

Doug looked taken aback by his question and smiled nonetheless, "Is that like a date?"

Nathan knew that line very well. A friend of his had always told him that if he should ask a woman out and she replies with that line, he should always say yes. It makes him look confident and ready for a challenge. And many girls like that in a man.

"Yes. It's a date." He grinned at him and Doug smiled.

Who knew it would work on another man too?

They could feel the heat the moment they entered the bar. And a shocker was, there were people in the bar. Not just Marc and the gang but people they have never seen before. All wearing something with leather.

Some were dancing on the disco light dance floor, some were laughing freely in their table and having a good time and others were being dirty at a corner.

Nathan felt like he had entered a 21 and above bar where not just men but kids were behaving crazy. He felt like he was back in Johannesburg, where he could go out and find a tailor shop right beside the bar and a candy store across the road. Sure, there were no women but a bar with crazy people dancing and being high was a bar with crazy people being high.

It reminded him so much of home and how much he had missed it.

"So about that drink." Doug brushed his shoulder against his and a pleasurable chill went through him making him blush.

"Right this way." He said then led him to the bar, beyond glad he had a chance to be with him alone again.

I saw some people got confused with with the ships. So I want to clear it up.

When this book started it was supposed to be Nathan x Michael, Marc x Dave, Brian x Ramus and John x Doug.

But like you all know, my characters have their own mind. Now it is Marc x Dave, Brian x Ramus, John x Doug x Nathan... *gasp* is that a threesome?

Then what about our other baby Michael? *sigh*

What in rainbow's name is happening on that island?
