Jack's POV

"Um... Can I get everyone's attention please?" I asked, waving my hands about awkwardly. All eyes were on me. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

"Everyone, I'd like to apologise for everything that's happened. Now then no one cut in and say anything, all right?! In a way, I'm the one that caused all that happened. If I just hadn't went out that night, if I hadn't be caught, if I hadn't let Pitch do what not to me, take control of me, which made you misjudge me, my acts, broke some relationships and trusts. I helped the enemy achieve their goal. You may say it's not my fault, but I do hold some responsibility of it, and I feel guilty. From the bottom of my heart, as cold as it may be, I'm sorry." I said.

A random "aww" travelled throughout the room. Some looked at me with a smile. Sandy gave a thumbs up.

"Sorry but I gotta say it, it wasn't your fault Jack." Hiccup said.

"Yeah, it could have happened to anyone." Merida added.

"Shake it off, we accept your completely unnecessary apology." Eugene gave me a friendly punch.

I smiled at the rest and sat back down beside Elsa. She looked at me with a smile, holding my hand. "You did the right thing, even if it was unnecessary." She said and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"Glad I got that out." I let out a sigh of relief.

Ever since we got back, we've been wrecking out brains to figure out how to rescue Big Hero 6. Not only that, we need to figure out how to stop The Nightmares. Now that they've gotten what they wanted, which I, unfortunately, gave it to them.

When I was under the spell, I was trapped in my own body. I could see everything happen around me, but I couldn't stop it. Back when evil me had broke Elsa's ice flower, a part of me broke as well. Still, we don't understand how we are able to communicate in our minds. This ability seems on and off, for some reason.

"You know what?" Anna stood up. "I'd say we go with our Plan B."

"We had a Plan A?" Aidan asked.

"Remember our Plan B to rescue Jack and Hiccup? To go out in the open and shout at the top of our lungs to attract The Nightmares' attention. I don't think we can wait much longer. I have a bad feeling of what their gonna do with their upgraded selves." Anna replied.

"She's right." North said. "I feel it, in my belly!"

"That's true. They've been here for quite some time, waiting for this moment for so long. But we also need to know, what are they scheming? Why not just come for us? Why did they leave us back then? Why didn't they finish us off?" I wondered.

"Exactly, why did they do that? I just can't make any sense of it." Elsa sighed.

We had stashed our items to form the key back home somewhere safe, we're quite sure that The Nightmares won't find them. Even though we haven't found everything to assemble it.

Pitch, what on earth are you planning? What are you gonna do? Barge in? Finish us off all at once? One by one? Just to show yourself off? Brag you have more power than us? Then what? Go to Earth?

"Earth." I accidentally said out loud. Then it struck me. "EARTH!"

"What?" Everyone asked at the same time.

"They're headed to Earth!" I said frantically, falling out of my chair.

Ethan and Darrel came running in, drenched.

"What happened to you?" Aidan asked.

"Uh... I don't know." Ethan replied.

"Who puts a bucket of water on the roof?! Water came pouring down on us." Darrel explained.

"There was no bucket, we didn't see it!" Ethan said.

"Then what? We got drenched magically? Water came out of nowhere then?" Darrel demanded.

Ethan rolled his eyes. "I swear all this had something to do with you-"

Something caught my eye, a portal. "The Nightmares!" I exclaimed, running to the door. Everyone else followed me.

Outside, I saw The Nightmares, conjuring a portal. "Ah, so nice of you to join us." Gothel looked at us.

"What are you doing?!" Hiccup asked, panting.

"Just finishing some business." Drago replied casually.

"So much for Plan B." I heard Anna mutter.

"Hey! Where's Big Hero 6?" Tooth demanded.

"You guys ain't going anywhere until you give them back." Bunny added.

"Sorry, I'd love to stay and chat, but we've got stuff to do." Pitch said and jumped into the portal, followed by the rest of The Nightmares.

"After them!" Elsa pushed her way through and leaped in.

"Well, what are we waiting for?" I asked, flying towards the portal.

It was black for a couple of seconds, then I flew out like something had shot me out of the portal. I landed safely but then North fell on me. Elsa quickly dragged us out of the way before we piled up.

"Where are we?" Cleo and Isabelle asked at the same time.

"It's freezing!" Merida said.

"Are we in another world?" Olaf asked.

I looked around, wide eyed, then looked at the Guardians. "Home." Tooth said.

"We're in Burgess!" I couldn't believe myself.

"Where?" Rapunzel and Aidan asked in confusion.

"This, is where we come from." Bunny explained.

"The gateway?" I heard Olaf.

"Oh wow this is so cool!" Darrel exclaimed.

I looked back, we were standing right in front of the gateway. Oh how I had missed the steps that glowed, that was fun. Back when we were all so curious, wondering what lied behind the gateway, the glowing leaves, the sky that was half night time and half sundown... Snap out of it Jack, you got other stuff to deal with. Still, how in the world did I not notice we were at the gateway the minute I arrived?!

"So... We didn't need to assemble the items then?" North asked in confusion.

Toothless growled, we saw The Nightmares headed off in a direction. "No time to waste, let's get them!" I flew up.

"Get on Toothless!" Hiccup instructed.

"Hey! Pitch! Stop!" I yelled. "Wind, faster!"

We chased them all the way to the frozen lake, the lake that I had once drowned. We were actually home. I still couldn't wrap my head around it.

I blasted an ice barrier, blocking The Nightmares from going any further. "Running like cowards?" I mocked.

They finally stopped and stood there. The rest of us arrived, we all got into position, ready to strike them.

"So you've decided to follow us, not surprising." Hans scoffed.

"Why have you come here?" I asked. "What's your purpose?"

"You know the reason why, all of you know!" Mor'du snapped.

Pitch chuckled, playing with his nightmare sand. "Oh Guardians, if you hadn't made things complicated by going into the gateway, we would have finished this by now, quick and easy. But, the lot of you are just so nosy, can't mind your own business."

"As if we'll let you terrorise Earth with your nightmares. That's exactly why we're Guardians." Tooth said.

"But now, thanks to the accumulation of all your fear and anger back then, I can do that easily, you Guardians don't stand a chance." Pitch said. "Oh that sweet fear, your auras were totally overloaded. Especially you, Jack. You should've seen yourself, you let fear completely take over you. You were so afraid, afraid of never being able to be free, afraid I was going to achieve my goal, afraid I would kill your loved ones right in front of you, afraid that you would be the one to blame for all this. Your fear, was extremely strong."

"Yeah well, I'm not afraid anymore." I cut in.

"Oh, but you will be. All of you will be." Pitch smirked.

Nightmare sand began forming in front of each of The Nightmares. When Pitch's was brought down, it revealed a person, I couldn't believe my eyes.

"Jamie?" The Guardians and I said at the same time.

"Sven?" Kristoff and Olaf gasped. "Grand Pabbie?"  Elsa and Anna said.

"Mom?" Merida said.

"Pascal?" Rapunzel said. "Maximus?" Eugene said.

"Mom? Astrid?" Hiccup said.
