Eugene's POV

We all decided that simply waiting for an answer at Big Hero 6's hideout wasn't going to help us. So, all of us went out into the open. Good, now we have a better chance and finding Jack and Hiccup. If we have to attract The Nightmares' attention to get us to their hideout, so be it.

Elsa explained that she had once been able to communicate with Jack in the mind, but she couldn't now. I'm getting worried that he's really trapped inside himself. How are we going to break the spell? I've been convincing myself that we could reverse it, but this is Pitch's doing, I'm sure he's made it permanent with all the magic he has now...

Aidan closed his eyes for a moment and started walking somewhere. It was like he was listening to something or someone to tell him where to go.

"Where's he going?" I asked Cleo.

"Aidan's being Aidan." Cleo simply replied.

"I'm asking The Voice Of Nature for information of our abducted friends." Aidan said.

"Yeah, yeah, it's just your fancy name for the voice in your head." Darrel rolled his eyes.

"Just because you can't hear it!" Aidan snapped. "The Voice Of Nature can help me find stuff."

"Aidan, I get it that you love nature, but that doesn't mean there's some nature voice talking to you or helping you out." Darrel rolled his eyes again.

"Hey, remember we got lost back in the woods?! The Voice Of Nature helped me out with that! It told me where to go." Aidan protested.

"That was just your navigation skills, there was no voice helping you out." Darrel said.

"How dare you disrespect... Why you-" Aidan said.

Isabelle quickly stopped the two from getting into a quarrel. "Cut it out you two! All of us have our own unique or weird abilities, and I don't think you want me to list some of them out, Darrel."

North was checking out his snow globes, whispering some weird gibberish. The snow was swirling, but didn't show a place.

"If we've never been there, then neither your snow globes or my tunnels will work." Bunny said.

"I know, I was just testing, hoping." North sighed.

Tooth flew up. "Mid air huh? But why specifically mid air? Why couldn't they create the portal on ground?"

"I was wondering that too." GoGo nodded.

"Come on, think! This mid air thing could be our key." Tooth tapped her chin. "What if it isn't a portal? What if you need to be in a specific place in mid air to transport the lot of us to their hideout? What if it would conjure up something, not a portal, that leads there?"

Everyone thought but we just couldn't think of anything. Strangely, it made sense to me but I just couldn't figure it out.

I looked around. "Where's Olaf, Ethan and Aidan?"

"Following The Voice Of Nature, I suppose." Cleo shrugged.

"It might be worth checking it out, we should follow them." Merida suggested. "We need all the help we can get, even if it's from nature itself."

"You actually believe all that nonsense?!" Darrel was taken aback. "Seriously, Aidan's cuckoo with that voice in his head."

Merida shot a glare at him. "There's something called Will O' the Wisps where I come from, it led me to my fate. Think it's nonsense? Think again."

I felt uneasy, if Merida was gonna punch Darrel, we are all gonna be in serious trouble. Damn it Darrel, stop annoying her.

Tooth flew left and right, thinking. Then she went to Toothless. "Are you sure that you can't sense Hiccup?" Toothless kept quiet.

"Why don't we just follow these coordinates, our last pinpoint?" Honey Lemon suggested.

We all let out a mutual sigh and followed. Any piece of information is good enough, please... Baymax engaged his scanners as we walked around.

"Um, we kinda left Aidan, Ethan and Olaf behind." Elsa broke the silence. "Perhaps we should look for them first?"

"There's no need, there they are!" Anna pointed off to a distance.

It was such a coincidence that those three were standing at the exact coordinates Hiro had. Aidan insisted it was The Voice Of Nature that helped him.

"So... What now?" Rapunzel asked.

"We continue thinking about that mid air thing." Tooth said.

Hiro got on Baymax's back. "We'll just check out what's in the sky, just in case. Toothless, mind coming with me?" Toothless nodded in excitement and they took off.

Honey Lemon was looking at her tablet, frustrated. "Come on... I'm sure part of the smoke bomb touched them! Why can't I trace them?!"

"Calm down, we'll find them, one way or another." Fred said.

Elsa created a few ice spirals until it formed a circle, resembling a portal. None of us knew where she was going with this, whether she was actually able to create a portal, even so, would it lead to where we want to be?

"North, could you perhaps toss your snow globe into the circle?" Elsa asked.

"Um... Ok?" North took a snow globe out and tossed it in.

"The Nightmares' lair!" Elsa said. Unfortunately, the snow globe didn't do anything, it fell right through. Thankfully Olaf and Ethan managed to catch it in time.

Elsa let out a sigh of despair. "I managed to create an arrow that led me to The Guardians, why won't it work now?"

Toothless, Baymax and Hiro came back down. "Any luck?" Isabelle and GoGo asked.

"No." Hiro shook his head sadly. "I'm beginning to believe they really are in another world."

"They don't say so." Aidan muttered.

"Who?" I asked.

"The Voice Of Nature. Jack and Hiccup are here, we just have to figure out how to get to them." Aidan replied.

Cleo squeezed Darrel's arm tight before he said anything. Darrel glared at her.

Elsa stopped with her ice portal. "I trust Aidan, I too think that they aren't in another world. We just need a special way to reach to them."

"Like a hidden passage?" Wasabi suggested.

"Great, it's invisible then." North sighed. "Where do we begin?!"

Ethan walked in a circle. "I don't know... Something about the mid air got me intrigued... A way of transport into the air... Something that lifts you up? With the help of nature?" He fell silent for a few seconds and stopped walking. "A... Tornado-AHHHHH!"

Ethan started screaming, all of us turned to him. A tornado appeared out of nowhere, and he was in the middle of it! Soon, the tornado started swooping us into it, one by one! We ran for our lives but the tornado was chasing us, sucking us into it. Even Toothless! In the end, I couldn't outrun the tornado as well and got sucked into it.

Surprisingly, none of us were flung out of the tornado, we were somehow kept inside of it. And perhaps the exact centre of it.

I looked up, there was a black spiral forming. It seemed to be sucking the tornado into it, which includes us. I'm pretty sure all of us were screaming, even though I could barely hear myself.

Something hit my face, it was Olaf's arm. Then another thing, his carrot nose. Olaf's body parts were swirling in the tornado, surprisingly his body of snow is still intact, just his arms and nose are flying everywhere.

Toothless passed by me and I quickly grabbed onto his tail. Then I slowly made my way to his back. The others saw me and tried doing the same, holding onto each other.

At last we went into the black spiral, which looked like a portal. Is this what we've been looking for? I wondered. There's absolutely no time to think of anything in this tornado chaos.

When we went through the black spiral, it was completely darkness and eerie silence. Suddenly, the tornado stopped and disappeared, everyone fell down.

"Well, well, lookie what we have here..."

I looked up, it was The Nightmares.
