Hiccup's POV

With everyone present, Jack was nowhere in sight. We couldn't wait any longer because the five need to go to school or they'll be late. I couldn't shake the feeling that this book isn't going to solve our crisis that easily. Nothing has ever been easy. Oh no, what if it's another riddle?! I've had enough of those!

"Since I have no powers, I don't think I should go." Merida stated.

"I think only Elsa, Olaf, North, Bunny, Tooth, Sandy, Rapunzel and Eugene should go. There's eight of you, it'll be easier." I suggested and patted Toothless' back. "Then finally Toothless. He's too hard to sneak in without drawing too much attention."

"And the rest of us can go find Jack." Kristoff added.

"Great idea." Anna nodded. "He better have a good explanation when we find him, he's got all of us worried sick!" 

"So Aidan, lead the way please?" Tooth asked.

"Most certainly." Aidan smiled. "How about we take you guys through the back of the school? It'll be easier to get to the library."

I walked over to Elsa and handed her the book. "Be safe." I smiled at her. "Good luck to you all." I couldn't help but stare at her mesmerising blue eyes, she was really beautiful. 

"Thank you, good luck to you too." Elsa smiled back, taking the book. It took me a second to release my grip. I was still in a trance just looking at her. I can't stop myself. 

"All right, let's get to it!" Eugene put his fists into the air. 

I waved goodbye to them as they headed towards Alternia High School. I silently prayed for all of them, but mostly Elsa. Please be careful and come back safe. 

"Honestly, I wished I could go with them, I wanna find out how they get their powers back!" Anna confessed. 

"We have our own matters to attend to. Come on then, where should we start? Hiccup?" Merida turned to me. 

I snapped out of my thoughts. This is embarrassing. "I have no clue where to start." I blurted out.

"Come on, let's think. If you were Jack, where would you go?" Kristoff asked.

"Kristoff, we're in another world, we have no clue where he might have in mind!" Anna replied.

"How about we just explore around first? Maybe Jack left a clue." Merida said.

"That's a good idea. We kinda look like we belong here, right? Well, except for you, Hiccup. Maybe we need to find you some normal looking clothes." Kristoff pointed at me. 

"To me, it's normal. I'm a Viking, after all." I said. "I'll just keep a low profile!"

"Let's go in pairs. I'll go with Kristoff, you go with Merida. Meet back here in an hour." Anna said quickly. "Ok? Settled! Let's go Kristoff!" 

Anna didn't give us a moment to react. She said it so fast and quickly pulled Kristoff away. Kristoff waved goodbye at us. I looked awkwardly at Merida. We shared a moment of silence. 

"Well then, let's go lad!" Merida gave me a nudge. "We got a person to find."

"I wish there was a map for this place." I muttered as I walked along.

"Just go where you think you should." Merida smiled at me.

Merida's POV

I'm actually with Hiccup! Oh my gosh, I am trying to look as normal as possible. I look like a total weirdo right now, don't I? Darn, what's going on Merida? You're changing so much ever since you met this boy. I can't explain myself. Ah I can't stand it, I am in love with Hiccup!

There I admitted it! Now all I need to do is to actually say it out loud, but it'll be awkward. Come on Merida, you're brave enough to do that. But still, I never thought I'd fall in love in another world. I never thought I'd fall in love at all!

I like the way that Hiccup is so courageous and adventurous. Dragons were a threat to his home before, but he managed to actually tame them! Me? I'd kill the first bear I see without hesitation. It takes a lot of effort and bravery to tame a wild beast. This is one of the qualities of Hiccup that I admire.

I couldn't even focus on the search for Jack. This situation is needs more attention, I scolded myself. All I did was follow Hiccup, looking here and there occasionally, but not paying a lot of attention.

"So, what's life as a princess?" Hiccup asked.

"Uh... Terrible." I replied. "It ain't good at all. Like, there was this one time where there was this event to find a suitor for me."

"Do tell." Hiccup grinned, ready for a story.

"Well, as a princess, I gotta act like a princess, which is something I'm totally not. Mom always wants be to behave like a proper lady. The way I dress, the way I speak, etc. So let's just say that something happened, I got so angry that I did something that changed my whole life. Sorry, I don't want to mention it." I explained.

"It's all right, we all need privacy." Hiccup said.

"What about you? Do you have a suitor?" I couldn't stop myself from asking.

"Well, yes. Her name is Astrid. But we fought and that's how I winded up here." Hiccup replied. "I too don't want to bring up the subject."

Now why in the world would she want to fight with a perfect guy like you? Does she not know how a appreciate someone like you? I asked in my mind. Until my leg hit something and snapped my out of my thoughts.

"Wait a minute..." I muttered, bending down. It was a wooden staff. One that I'm sure I've seen before.

"This is Jack's!" Hiccup exclaimed, looking at it. "He must be nearby then!"

"No, something's not right." I said. "There's no reason Jack would just drop his staff here like that."

"You mean... This was the spot where he vanished?"  Hiccup asked.

I nodded. "I have a bad feeling that something had happened to Jack here."

"You don't think..."

"Jack got captured?"  I continued. "Think about it, Jack went wandering around last night, what if he was seen by the wrong people? What if they had taken him?"

"Are you saying that The Nightmares have Jack in their possession?" Hiccup asked.

"It's my best guess." I said.

"You make a good point. We're in front of Alternia High School right now, Jack could be somewhere I'm there right now!"

"I know Hiccup but what can we do?! There's only the two of us and we don't have magic or whatsoever to know exactly where he is!" I argued. "Come on, we gotta show this to Anna and Kristoff."

"Say no more." Hiccup nodded and we quickly headed back.

Anna's POV

"I suggest that we charge into the school!" I said after Hiccup and Merida told us the situation.

"Anna, it'll be safer with the rest." Hiccup tried to calm me down. "We should wait-"

"Who knows what they're doing to Jack right now, he could be killed!" I cut in.

"Anna, if we charge into the school, we could get ourselves caught as well." Kristoff said.

"Perhaps we should made a police report." Merida suggested.

"And what will that do? Remember that the authorities couldn't do anything because of their powers?" Kristoff reminded.

"I know who might know." I rubbed my hands gleefully and quickly went into Tiana's Palace. "Tiana? Tiana?"  I called out, looking around. A few people looked at me.

"I'm here Anna." Tiana walked towards me. "So, how's it going? Any help needed?"

"I wanna know, other than you and Naveed, did anyone else volunteer to stay behind this world?" I asked.

"Yes, they call themselves Big Hero 6."
