Anna's POV

Tiana let us spend the night in her restaurant, imagine that! Is this place a hotel? Apparently, they have been doing this for a long time.

"So I guess we'll see you tomorrow?" I said to Cleo.

"We'll meet you here, don't forget the book!" Ethan replied.

"I think it's time we call it a night." Darrel yawned.

"Get some rest." Isabelle patted my shoulder.

And so the five of them went home. Tiana and Naveed led us to a room. "I hope that this will be all right for you?"  Naveed asked.

"Beggars can't be choosers." Tooth winked.

"We can't thank you enough for your generosity." Rapunzel said.

"It's my pleasure, after all, we are all technically related to each other." Tiana said. "We'll let you guys get settled in, excuse us." And they both left us.

"I'm exhausted!" Eugene lied down. "I never thought I'd go through this much in one day! This day is overwhelming."

I noticed that Elsa was looking around with a worried look. "Is something troubling you?"  I asked.

"It's just... I couldn't help but notice that Jack isn't back yet." Elsa replied. "Which is getting me a little worried."

"Ah don't worry about him, he likes to wander off, he'll be back whenever he feels like it. That rascal does what he pleases." Bunny replied with a grin.

"If you say so." Elsa nodded. I know that look on her face. She's missing Jack. Oh my lord my sister is actually having a crush! Elsa might conceal her feelings well, but I can see through it sometimes. I still can't get over the fact that Elsa is having feelings for someone! Is this really happening? Has the gateway led my sister to her destiny?

"Well, let's get some sleep, we have a big day tomorrow." North instructed.

Pitch's POV

I swear that something wasn't right today. I sensed a presence, a presence I haven't felt since...

Back when we were at the school today, when we were just casually walking around, I felt something disturbing. It was a presence, but I couldn't pin on who it was. And by we I mean The Nightmares. We are the most feared group on Alternia, best known for giving people misery. Back when I first discovered this place, I saw a world of opportunities. I saw things and people beyond imagination, most from classic literatures.

I recruited my own gang. After some research, I've found that most of them are from a term called fairy tales. They too hold a grudge towards their enemies, obviously, who doesn't, I convinced them to help me and I will help them. But as you know, I'm Pitch Black. They are no use to me once I'm done with my business. I will be the most powerful one in the end, I will get rid of them once I'm done. I will have my revenge on the Guardians.

Of course like any plan, there's always obstacles. Some enemies that discovered Alternia had severely ruined my plans. That's why they're only five left in the gang. But no matter, I can still recruit the rest now that I know how to make the portal. Are the people of Alternia really that simple minded? Did they really think that we could be defeated? Please, there's more to us than you think. So I'll let the citizens think they're winning, just you wait, just you wait... I have been in this place longer than anyone else who crossed the portal. The Nightmares inflict fear on everyone, and I feed on that fear to enhance my powers. I intend to continue feeding on their fear until I have more power than I could ever imagine, I'd be unstoppable. Then, I will bring The Nightmares to have my revenge on the Guardians.

We rule this world, and I don't intend to let anyone stop me from continuing it. Alternia High School is like our headquarters. We spend most of our time there, obviously we're not students, who the heck wants to learn, our age ain't suitable anyway. Anyway, we get things done our way. Anyone who dares to stand in our way either faces instant death, or we would sometimes throw them into a portal. Who knows where they end up, we don't care. I've lost count on the number of times we've killed people here.

So right now it's dark, my favourite. I give everyone nightmares each night, haunting them, it gives me such pleasure doing so. After all, it is my speciality. No sweet dreams at all.

I go from house to house, giving nightmares to whoever that's already asleep. When I was done with my rounds, I made a stop at Alternia High School. I stood on the roof and took in a deep breath, feeling my powers getting an upgrade. It's a sensational feeling. I looked down and saw a figure below me. You sure are bold enough to be strolling around at this kind of time like that, do you not fear me? I asked in my mind. It's nightfall, no one dares to come out at all, for they fear me. Whoever this idiot is, he sure is asking for the nightmare of his life. He needs to be taught a lesson.

I lurked into the shadows, the darkness is my perfect cover. I looked at him from behind. He had white hair, and wore a blue hooded sweater. Wait... Hold on, something isn't right. That's a bit too much for a coincidence. I got closer to him and that's when I got a good look. Before I could stop myself, the words slipped out from my mouth.

"Jack Frost?"
