Having stopped and looked at my expanding profile, by that I mean my Wattpad one of course, not my reflection (although...nah, let's not go there) I decided it was in need of rescue.  

Now please don't get all excited, this is not entirely new. Well, depending I suppose on how many of my works you have read of course, it may indeed end up fresh words for your eyes, I don't know. 

To date, I have written 7 individual short stories including my recent efforts for the  "500-word-weekend-writein" and one small collection. As such, my list of scribblings is growing rapidly and I do not want it to become too cumbersome to scroll through. Therefore, I am transferring those stories to this one book. New material, however, will be added as this collection grows.

I will not delete the originals for some kind people took the time to comment and even vote for them, plus some HAD to be created separately at the time for inclusion in particular contests. But, I now want these creations to be under a collective title rather than continuing to grow across my profile.

Now, as you will know, if you have cast your peepers over my work, some are Fanfiction (namely Warcraft), others general fiction, paranormal and I have even dabbled a little in poetry (which I have not shared until now in this book, mainly because it is not really my forte, but still...).  

I pondered whether I should just throw everything in willie-nillie or categorise them within these pages and I have decided to choose the former option. Brand new stories will all start appearing after chapter 15.So, if you have read some already you may prefer just to skip over and move to ones which are new to you. 

This collection, however, will serve as my platform for all short story efforts from now on, unless I need to make an independent one should any future contest rules deem it mandatory. Once said contests are over, then any outlying stories shall be transferred into this book. With that in mind you will find story 11 in this collection "missing" - the contest it is entered in stipulates it is a stand-alone story. It will become part of this collection once the results are in.

Anyway, I have rambled on long enough explaining all this so please, sit back and enjoy (hopefully) what lies through The Gateway and feel free to comment or vote should you consider the stories deserving.
