Alex's POV

I wake up to laughing and screaming coming from downstairs, i turn to riot and i kiss her head as she sleeps. I walk downstairs to see melody and Jake running around while laughing, Jake catches Mel around the waist and lifts her in The air as she laughs "Jake!" She laughs as he puts her down "are you gonna take it back?" He asks "i don't know what your talking about" mel giggles "your not ugly, take it back. Your beautiful and if anyone says otherwise ill brake their skull" he says "thanks" she says "yeah, yeah. Give your big brother a hug you idiot" he says as she hugs him. He wraps his arms around her waist as they hug. I smile as i lean against the door frame "i love you" Mel says "i love you to, dweeb" Jake replies and spring laughs. I feel riot hug me from behind as she rests her head on my shoulder "they've grown up so fast" she says softly "they have" i say with a smile "tag your it" Mel says and jumps over the couch and runs into the kitchen laughing, Jake laughs and runs after her. After a couple minutes Jake comes back in with melody on his back "hi dad, good morning mom" Jake says "morning dad, hi mom" Mel says as she hugs Jake again "hey babes" riot says as she hugs Jake. I see melody glare at riot and i hug her "its ok" i whisper "whatever" she replies "i just don't like how close she's getting to him" she says while glaring holes into the back of riots head. After riot pulls away, Mel pulls jake into a tight hug and he immediately wraps his arms protectively around her "you ok?" He whispers "i am now" she whispers back "i love you" she says "i love you to" he replies "wanna go out today?" She asks him "yeah, Starbucks sound good?" He asks "Starbucks sounds Amazing" she says with a smile. They run up the stairs to get dressed and i sit next to riot. I see her scrolling through her phone and i take the chance "riot?" I ask "yeah?" She asks as she locks her phone and puts it down "you gotta stop favouriting Jake over melody" i say as i take her hand in mine "im not" she says "i love you riot, but its plain obvious. Why don't you love Mel as much as Jake?" I ask "she's lesbian. Its not right" she says "but Jakes gay" i say confused "and im fine with that, but i want spring to have a husband and kids, not a girlfriend" she says "baby, you gotta be happy for her. There are lots of options for her to take when it comes to having kids" i say

melody's POV

I get to my room and i pull out some of Jakes old black skinny jeans, a mayday parade muscle tee, a black beanie and Jakes old combat boots. I throw it all on and i quickly brush my hair and put my nose and lip rings in. I grab my phone, put it in my back Jean pocket and I walk to Jakes Door and i knock "come in!" He calls, i walk in and he's wearing skinny Jeans, a simple plan muscle tee, his battered old converse and a red beanie "hey mel" he says and i smile at him "you ready to go?" I ask "yep" he says. We walk downstairs and make chucks me his green day hoodie, i put it on as he walks to me "bye dad! Be back later!" I call as we walk out "have fun kids!" He yells back.

we walk half way to Starbucks when "hey sexy, show your tits!" A random guy screams at me "go fuck yourself man!" Jake yells back as he wraps his arm around my waist. He growls as we keep on walking "calm it bro, its whatever" i say as i lace our fingers together "no its not melody, you shouldn't have to hear that or be told that. Your only 16" he says as he hugs me "i know Jake, but it doesn't bother me cuz i have you here. Your the best big brother ever" i say with a smile "well, your the best little sister ever, but c'mon we have a Starbucks with our name on it!" He exclaims and i laugh. We get to Starbucks and i order the blue acacia blast with lemonade and Jake orders the strawberry lemon acacia crush, we started to walk back wih our drinks "melody!" I hear the voice of taylor yell. I gasp and turn around as im pulled into a hug "Taylor!!" I squeal as i hug back "gaskarth!" The voice of maddie calls "hey barakat" Jake says as he hugs her "i thought you were still in Hollywood?" I ask him "we just got back and i couldn't wait to see you" he responds and we hug again "I've missed you" i say "ive missed you to" he says. I pull away from Taylor with a smile only to be pulled into a hug by Maddie, i blush and hug back "hey little gaskarth" she says "hi Maddie" i say "I've missed having you around" she says and i blush darker "I've missed you to, you left me alone with that idiot for two months" i say and she laughs "yeah, i won't do that again" she says and i laugh. We pull away and i see Jake pull Tay into hug "hello Taylor" Jake says as he blushes "hi Jake" Tay says as his cheeks burn a dark red and i smile at them "i ship it" Maddie says and i laugh "same" i say as i smile at them

Jake's POV

I hug Taylor and put my chin on his head "I've missed you" i whisper "ive missed you to" he whispers. Oh yeah, tay's my boyfriend of about a year but no one knows. I kiss the top of his head when the girls weren't looking "so, whats the plan?" Maddie asks "don't mind" Mel says "that's very helpful" Maddie says sarcastically and melody laughs "i don't mind either" Tay says as he stands next to me "how bout we go to the arcade?" I ask "yeah!" Mel agrees "that sounds fun" Tay says "ok, arcade it is" Maddie says with a grin. Tay smiles at me then runs to walk with melody and Maddie walks next to me. I see Mel laughing with ben and i smile "she's cute, isn't she?" Maddie asks as she looks at spring with a fond smile "yeah, you'd look pretty cute together" i say as i wink at her and she turns a deep red "shut it gaskarth" she says "just go ask her out, she likes you to" i say "really?" She asks "yeah, she talks about you all the time" i say and she blushes and smiles "maybe i will" she says "outta girl!" I say as i ruffle her hair "watch it gaskarth, don't mess with my hair" she warns and laughs. I look at tay and melody and he has her up on his shoulders, she's giggling and i smile at them "so, hows the relationship with Tay going?" Maddie asks with disappointment in her voice, my eyes widen and i look at her "don't make that face at me gaskarth, Taylor is my little brother and he tells me everything" she says not looking at me "when are you gonna tell melody? She's gonna be hurt that you left it a whole year to tell her" she says and i sigh and look at the ground "i was gonna tell her when Tay first told me, but he begged me not to. You wanna know why?" She asks "why?" I ask "cuz he said you weren't ready. I know he was lying though, i know him better then he knows himself. So tell me, why didn't you wanna tell anyone?" She asks "i didn't want anyone to know" i say "um, i think me and Mel have a right to know" she snaps "she's your little sister and im your best friend" she says with hurt in her voice "what happened to keeping no secrets and always being honest with each other?" She asks with even more hurt in her words "I him sorry Maddie" i say "i don't care, Tay told me and that's all i care about. You should apologise to melody. She's your little sister and you hid something this big from her" she says and looks at spring, her eyes widen and i follow her view. I see spring with an angry look

I quickly go over to them only to have tay pull her into a hug "im so sorry melody, i really wanted to tell you" tay whimpers "no its ok" she says "no its not, your my best friend. I should of told you" he cries into her hair "you did nothing wrong Tay, i promise" she says and runs her hands through his hair "why didn't Jake tell me?" She asks "he didn't want anyone to know" he whimpers "please don't hate me melody" he cries "no, i could never ever hate you Taylor. I love you" she she says as her voice cracks "i love you to" he cries. They calm down and spring looks at me, anger, hurt, betrayal and sadness fill her eyes as she stomps over to me "how could you?" She says "HOW COULD YOU HIDE SOMETHING LIKE THIS FROM ME?" she screams in anger "i-i" i couldn't even form a sentence "im your sister, we're supposed to tell each other everything! You had no right to hide this from me!" She exclaims "i-im so sorry Mel" i whimper as tears clowd my vision "why? Why did you hide it from me?" She asks "i-i thought it was the right thing to do" i whimper as tears fall down my cheeks "why? If you told me i would of been fine with it! And i still am! But why hude it from me?" she asks again . I pull her into a hug "im so sorry Mel" i cry "its ok" she whispers "stop crying you idiot, your gonna make me cry" she laughs as she wipes my eyes "im sorry melody" i say again "Nah, its cool. At least Tay can can hold your hand in public now" she says as Tay hugs her from behind and she smiles. Tay walks to me and laces our fingers together and i smile "i love you" i say and he blushes "i love you to" he says with a smile. I cup his cheek and i connect our lips, he kisses back with a smile on his lips

Melody's POV

I smile at them and i glance at Maddie, she blushes and looks away and i smile. I move closer to her and i lace pur fingers together, i glance at her to see her looking at me "what?" I ask "y-your holding my hand" she squeaks and i smile "yeah" i say and she smiles. i let go of her hand and wrap my arm around her waist, bringing her closer to me. She rests her head on my shoulder and i smile "Awwwwwwww" tay says as he looks at us and i smile at them "its so cute!" Jake says with a smile and i laugh "she's adorable, i couldnt help myself" i say with a shrug. Maddie looks up at me and i kiss her forehead, her cheeks turn pink and i smile.
