Unfortunately, I woke up with a headache and a stuffed nose. Do you know what that means? Yeah, I'm sick. I have a good feeling I know who is responsible for this. Annoyed I got up and found my way to the kitchen because I had no strength in me to yell for no one to come to my assistance.

Upon arrival I meet Milo.

Milo POV

"Serafina, mi amor, I need a pain killer my head is killing me" I woke up feeling sick like never before. If I didn't take this pain killer, I wouldn't make it through the day.

"Alright papi, let me check" she said searching for it. Then miss universe walked in and as she saw me she folded her arms.

"What are you doing in here?" As I was about to answer she cut me off "You know because of you I'm sick now"

Sighing "I don't have the energy for this right now" waiting for Serafina "whatever, me neither" I ignored her.

"Serafina, I need a pain killer" Serafina looked up with the pack of pain killers and realized it only had one left.

She looked at me and then at Franchesca "Serafina.." Franchesca looked at her expectantly "It's just that he asked for it first..."

" And who do you work for?"

"But it's just that he looks like he's in desperate need of it"

"Serafina!" Franchesca yelled and Serafina jumped "Ayyy the doorbell is ringing." And she ran out of here. Leaving the painkiller on the counter.

She looked at it then at me. I did as if I was going to race for it and she flinched. "I'm a gentleman"

"Princess gets what she wants" I said before walking off.

Franchesca pov

I couldn't help but feel offended at his statement. He made it sound like I was spoiled and I'm truly not.

I took the painkiller and, on my way back I see Serafina walking back "Who was at the door?" knowing very well I didn't hear the bell go off.

Looking at me confused she said "Que?" (what?)

"You said the bell went off." She came to realization.

"Ohhhh yea yea, I think it was those silly little kids pulling pranks on us" she waved me off and walked away quickly.

"Mhmm" I said not believing a word she said.

I walked up the stairs to my room and I called Bella on the house phone.

Once she picked up I asked "Do you think I'm a princess?" she took a while before answering "What? Where is this coming from?"

"I just want to know if you think I'm a spoiled princess because I don't think I'm spoiled I'm more misunderstood or fortunate"

It took a while for Bella to answer "Hello?" Out of nowhere she starts laughing until she's wheezing. When she realized I wasn't laughing with her she stopped and said "Oh you're serious?"

"Girl you are the most spoiled girl I know" I frowned. "What do you mean?"

"Come on Franchesca. You do as if you're about to die when your phone is taken away and then bam daddy gives you back the phone. Gotta say he's a bit stricter since you've been to jail. Kuddos to him" I scoffed at that statement.

"Look at how you treat the people who wake up bright and early to clean up after you and cook food on a daily basis. You treat people like they are below you if they are not near your standards or as rich as you. You forget that those people are humans too. While they are struggling to make it you sometimes treat them very poorly." I sighed that was a lot to take in.

"How long have you been feeling this way?"

"I don't know it's a been a while" A little in shock "Why didn't you tell me anything?"

"Well honey I didn't expect you to understand"

"Now I feel bad, you must hate me a little"

"Ohh I don't, everyday we're growing to understand a lot of things and I just prayed and hope this would've been one of the things you'd learn. I don't hate you one bit. You're a human just like me. We're allowed to make mistakes just as long as you learn from them."

I felt so convicted that I ended the call with Bella and just reflected on everything she told me and the times I took my staff for granted.

I took a shower and freshened up before going back in my bed.

Out of nowhere the phone rings again. I pick it up and its my dad "Mi amor, como estas?"

"Hii daddy I'm fine"

"Great to hear baby, so I'm going to be back tomorrow. I had to take a quick flight out baby"

Sighing. "so you're leaving me home alone again"

"Yea but tomorrow ill be home you'll be fine. I know you will. I love you"
"I love you too" he hung up and I just threw myself back on the bed.

This man. Feeling bored I got up to look out my window. As I'm staring out the window, I see Milo stooped low rubbing his head.
I actually felt bad that I took the last painkiller. I went down to see if he was okay. From afar I can see that he was laid out on the grass. In shock I sped up and rushed towards him.

"Milo! Milo?!" I shook him but he wouldn't budge. "Serafina!!" He was really hot when I touched his skin.

She rushed out once she saw him on the ground. "Guardias!"
The guards came rushing in "help me!"
"Bring him to the guest room"
"Watch his head!"
Oh my God, what if he could die?
Oh I am going to be grounded for life.

I followed behind them and entered the guest room.
I felt so lost I didn't know what to do. I'm just seeing Serafina, Delvina, Maria and the other maids coming in and out.
Delvina was just belting out instructions.
"Should we call a doctor?" I asked "yes call doctor Sanchez"

I pick up the house phone and I call doctor Sanchez. "Bueno"
"Doctor Sanchez it's me Franchesca Donovan"
"Umm I have a worker who's passed out he's very hot"
"Hot?"
"You know what I mean his skin is very hot like he's overheating"
"Okay, did he have anything else wrong with him?"
"Ummm" I turn to Serafina "Serafina why did he need the painkiller?"
"He had a major headache just like you" now remembering that earlier she said that he looked like he was in desperate need.

Facepalming myself mentally.
"He had a major headache, I think he was feeling sick like I am. But it didn't have anymore painkillers so he continued working in the garden"

"Alright, to bring down his temperature remove his shirt and place a wet cloth on his forehead and on his neck as well."

"When he wakes up give me a call and I'll be on my way. Give him water and some painkillers if his head still hurts while I'm on my way"
"Okay"

"For now let him rest, he probably did more than he could while feeling sick"

"Alright thank you doc I'll call you when he's up"
"He said to let his rest but when he wakes up to give him a call"
"Also Delvina bring a bowl of water and a cloth we're going have to bring down his temperature" she rushed out to get the things I asked for.

"Serafina, take his shirt off"
"Excuse me ?" She responded confused but also shocked.
"Doctors orders"
"But ... But"
"Serafina, if you can't do it, get out!"
She zipped her lips and sat quiet.

She pulled his shirt off and for a minute she seemed to be in awe.
She hesitantly she touched his chest "he's really burning up" I rolled my eyes.
He began to shiver so she covered him with the comforter
While I went to close the window and the door to ease his shivers.

"Got the things" Delvina walked in.
"Alright I need to get some painkillers from the store and somebody call his mom and let her know he'll be sleeping over."

"Should I tell her why?"
The thing is I wasn't sure if he would want to let his mother know.
"Tell her he's working over time because we have an event or something"

I look back at Serafina and she's like fawning over him and she was making me so annoyed.
"Serafina, can you make a soup for me please"
"But then who will do this ?"
"I will"
"But you don't like him.."
"Serafina, go make my soup please, either way with you fawning over him nothing will get done"
"But-"
"Serafina! Oh my gosh you're making me talk a lot these days just do as I asked Por favor" she really had me annoyed.
She got up and left.
Once they left me alone with him, me being me. I was hesitant on helping him.
Sucking it up I did anyway.

While squeezing out the water of the cloth every time I laid it on his skin I took the time to admire his face and his skin.
He is handsome.

Wait what? What am I saying? We can't stoop low Fran. Treat them like a human being but we're not lowering our standards.

Continuing until I got tired. I sat back in the chair. Serafina walks in with the soup I asked her for. God bless her heart. She then stands there watching him.
"Thanks Serafina, you can go now"
She nodded and left.

I ate my soup and my eye lids began feeling heavy. I did what most Latin related people would do and I grabbed the vicks and rubbed it over his chest and his forehead. I did it for myself too cause my nose had been running and headache was returning.

My dad use to do this but also put potatoes under my feet when I had a fever. With all the energy I had within me, I went to the kitchen. No one was here.

So I took a big potato and peeled it myself. Put it in a bowl and I went in my dads room and finessed a pair of socks.
I walked back to the room and I placed the potatoes under his feet. He moved at the coldness of the potatoes but he didn't wake up.

Once I finished, Delvina came back with a cup of water and the painkillers.
"Gracias" she nodded and left.
I sat in the couch near the bed and I fell asleep.

In the middle of a deep sleep Milo jumps out of his sleep and yells "mama!"
He scared the crap out of me. I turn on the lamp near me. As tired as I was I walked over to him. I realized he was half up and half asleep.

"I need to tell my mother I'm here" he whispered as he held my hand "It's fine, I already had someone call her"
He nodded lightly and closed his eyes. Turning back to leave.
He said "wait" which was merely a whisper.
"Can you sleep with me? I'm hot but I can't stop shivering" his statement woke me all the way up.

"Say what?"
"I can't stop shivering"
"Then cover yourself more in the sheet and the comforter"
"Please"
He looked so vulnerable and so desperate. I couldn't help but give in.
"Fine" he looked relieved "but not one word about this to anyone" he nodded.
"I mean it" he put his hand up "I promise"
Hesitantly I climbed in next to him. I was so hesitant about all of this. I've never done this before except for with my dad.
He just pulls me in and wraps his arms around me.
In shock I'm trying to wrap my head around this. "Don't think about it too much" he whispered. "Just hug me"
"I need your warmth" it's just the way he said that made me want to give him the necessary warmth so I hugged him.
I felt this sensation I've never felt before.
Within a matter of seconds I fell asleep.
