"Layla hold my drink girl it's about to get lit up in here" Amanda's party was too lit. This is an amazing pool party.
Majority of these people are my acquaintances but my one true best friend is Bella.

She's just my type, gentle and soft when she needs to be and a risk taker half the times. She'd follow my crazy ideas sometimes or talk some sense into to me. Balance. She's perfect.

I think I had too many shots because I went up and I was attempting to take off my bra but as soon I saw Bella's stern face I froze in place.
She came over and yanked my hand. "Yup we're getting you water"
She yanked me into the kitchen "sometimes I feel like you forget who your father is" she said handing me a bottle of water.

"What's so scary about him?" She cocked her head to the side in shock.
"You call him daddy but my dad calls him boss, that's just one. You know how you get punished and you feel like it's the end of the world sometimes? Like every time yeah I'm not trying to go through that period of my life again" over dramatic.

"I feel like I can hear you calling me over dramatic and I'm really not. All the crying the running nose, all this over not having your phone and not being able to leave because there's security everywhere and you're on camera!" Stuck in thought. She got me there.

"Yeah that's what I thought" handing me a next bottle of water. " wait I'm not even done with this one" I whined. "Well drink it faster"

"I'll choke" she straight faced me "no you won't"
"I'll drown" her facial expression made me laugh so much. Her face had a 'unbelievable' look then the 'trying to make it make sense' face.
"Girl just drink the water for me please"

"How much more?" I whined "until you pee all this alcohol out" I sighed and sagged in my seat.

A few moments later into drinking the next bottle Rico came in.
"Babe what are you doing here? I was looking for you the whole time outside. We're doing beer pong"
Exciting. "Really?! I love that game" instantly bella grabbed my hand and pulled me back.

"No ma'am you've had enough for one day" Bella said making me sag.
"Why are you so lame?" Rico said to her.
"Trying to preserve my brain cells, airhead" she rolled her eyes.

"Babe, c'mon you know this is our thing. Don't let bella steal our moment." I tried to plead with bella with my puppy dog face but she didn't budge.

"Babe, I actually gotta go home my dad's been calling me so I need to sober up" he pouted before giving me a forehead kiss. "Alright drive safe then" he turned off and left.

"I hope you're happy" she shook her head. "You deserve so much better than that pathetic excuse of a man" I sighed I wish these two would get along.
"Bella-"
"I know what you're going to say but I'm just saying I love you more than words can express and you see it all the time while all he does is make you do is things that bring you down or pull you back" she shook her head.

"I know that's what you think, but I love him bella. He makes me enjoy life a lot more and we have fun. He values me and that's all that matters" bella refused to say anything else about the matter and just handed me a next bottle.

I dropped my head on the table before picking it up again to take it from her.

Walking up the drive way, I bumped into something or should I say someone. He made me drop my bag and the items within spilled out.
Annoyed I said "watch where you're going next time!" He apologized and attempted to help me "don't touch my stuff!" He backed up "I just wanted to help you"
"I don't need your help, why don't you go back to wherever you came from" he gave me this look like he was disappointed at me or something but I didn't care. His opinion of me doesn't matter.

When I picked all of my stuff up I walked in the house and there stood my dad. He was furious.
"Franchesca where were you?! I have been calling you all day!" He roared throughout the house. I hated when he yelled at me. His opinion of me does count. I love my dad with all my heart.

"Papa, I told you I was at my friend Amanda for a pool party" he shook his head.

"You couldn't answer one phone call Franchesca?! You didn't even tell me about this party and if you had permission to go"
I sighed "I did tell you about this party dad" I was heading towards the stairs "but like ALWAYS you never listen to me, you listen to everybody at your job except your own child" I hear him sigh.

He grabbed my elbow "Franchesca I'm sorry baby, I'm really trying to do everything to keep this roof over our head, food on the table and the smile on your face" I sighed and rolled my eyes cause it's always the same thing over and over.
"So here's the deal, we're going to spend time together this coming weekend so if you had plans cancel it because you're grounded" I'm shocked I opened my mouth
"What? What am I being grounded for?" I exclaimed.
"It's not my fault you didn't remember"
"You are absolutely right, however I've been calling you all day and you didn't respond leaving me to be very worried and anxious about your well being the whole time you didn't answer your phone" I can not believe what I'm hearing. This man was unbelievable.

"I didn't deserve that" he pouted. "Ughhh" I turned off and started heading up the stairs "I love you sweetheart" rolling my eyes. Oh yeah butter me up now.
"What was that you said? An extra couple days of being grounded?"

"I love you too dad!" I yelled from the top of the stairs. This man was really unbelievable.
