"Dammit! The K is Jammed!" Y/n yelled as he got back inside the car, as their pursuers showed no signs of slowing down.

"Well Shit! You should have let me get that damn grenade launcher!" Harley yelled as she hit a sharp turn and held out one of her pistols to y/n.

"Yes I should have but i didn't see a fucking use for it until now!" Y/n said as he grabbed the pistol and took aim out the window, taking a precise shot at the gas tank of cyclist, causing one of the to explode an a couple of others to catch fire and crash, a good result but it didn't solve the overall problem.

"Got a dead end up ahead y/n!"harley yelled as she drove.

Y/n looked to the front and saw they were headed street for the other side of the road unless they turned. " So turn!" He yelled as he got back inside the car.

"I can't!" Harley responded as they kept getting closer.

"Why!?" Y/n shouted in confusion.

"THE BRAKES ARE OUT!" Harley shouted, revealing the problem emphazing her point by stepping on the broken pedal.

"WHAT!?" y/n shouted back in fear.

Soon they had burst through the side of the road hurling through the air along with many others who followed into the water.

"AHHHHHHH!!!!" Y/n and Harley shouted in unison.

-"PAUSE!"-

"Hello everyone." Y/n greeted. " your probably wondering how me and harles even got in this mess in the first place."

"Well don't worry buckeroos we can clear that right up!" Harley said with excitement.

"So why don't we go back a bit." Y/n said.

-"Resume"-

It had been a few weeks since the drug deal situation, in the back of y/ns mind he had accepted the fact that Harley may very well be here to stay and he was okay with that, so he considered what to do next, first things first was dealing with the arrival of two new roommates.

"Holy Shit!" Y/n jumped as he entered his home keeping a hand on his pistol just in case.

"BUD! LOU!" Harley said cheerfully as she knelt down and hugged....two very large laughing hyenas.

"You know them???" Y/n spoke in confusion and concern.

"Mhm! These two are the best friends a gal could ask for, I had to cut em lose so they wouldn't get hurt, I just knew they would find they way back to me I knew they would." Harley said petting the two wild hyenas.

How Harley managed to tame these beasts he would never know, he just continued to stare in shock.

"Oh please let me stay, preety plesse, they're good boys really." Harley said begging with her hands clasped  together with an adorable face.

Y/n looked at the hyenas who could rip out his throat with a single command, one of them, bud he thinks, approached and licked his hand.

Y/n just sighed and rubbed his face with his unlicked hand. " merda, harls your lucky money  and space ain't an issue, alright-"

Harley had latched onto him. " THANK YOUUUU!!!!" Harley yelled managing to pick him up and shaking him a bit.

"But they are your responsibility." Y/n said firmly.

"You got it!  You won't even notice they're there." Harley said confidently.

Suddenly a harsh smell caught both of their noses, they looked to see Lou had dropped a deuce on the floor.

"...do we have ferbreeze and a pooper scooper?"  Harley asked sheepishly.

"Ugh.."y/n facepalmed.

They had two hyenas to take care of but to y/Ns suprise they were well behaved, y/n learned she rescued them, whoever owned them hadn't fed them for a long time so she took it upon herself to fix that, the beasts have been at her hip ever since and y/n wouldn't lie he could see the advantages of having hyenas on standby but he still had a fierce of of one of them getting a taste of his flesh.

Soon they had taking a trip around the city, so harley could expand her wardrobe and change up her look, to really get out of the jokers shadow once and for all, and easy thing when the neighborhood he was driving through was under his fathers protection.

Y/n was currently waiting outside a dressing room hands tucked into his pocket as he eyed the numerous shopping bags.

"At this rate harley will definitely put a dent in my wallet." Y/n muttered shaking his head, he had never needed to buy this much.

"Im ready!" Harley said excitedly as she pushed the curtain of the dressing room open.

Y/n turned to look and his eyes widened.

He wasn't sure what he was expecting, her she was very attractive in her old outift so she knew she wouldn't have an issue with anything else, but the leather? The dyed pigtails?  She looked like a whole new woman.

"Damn." Y/n said with wide eyes.

"Hehe! Preety hot huh?" Harley said posing with her hands on her hips.

"Y-yeah ahem." Y/n said getting his voice together as he was a little flustered. " got everything you need?"

"Hmmm...oh!" Harley sounded as a lightbulb went off in her head. " Dicks is our next stop!" Harley said with a smile.

"What?" Y/n asked in confusion and a bit of irritation inside.

"Dicks sporting goods! I need a better quality bat." Harley clarified with a smile.

"O-Ohhh!!" Y/n sounded in realization. " i thought you meant...you know..." y/n said but harley tilted her head cutely . "Nevermind lets go."

Y/n  carried the bags and started walking and noticed harley looking at him with a mirthful smile. "What?" He questioned.

"You thought i meant dicks dicks huh?" Harley giggling.

"Shut up." Y/n said looking away withs groan.

Harley bumped him with her arm. "Aww its not your fault y/n, it happens to everyone,  why i know a birdie named dick, talk about being set up to fail hehe!" Harley joked playfully.

Y/n shook his head with a smile, her energy was honestly infectious.

"Besides, theres only one dick im worried about..." harley said to herself as she walked with a spring in her step.

"What? Who?" Y/n questioned in shock.

Harley turned and winked at him. "I wont tell hehe!" She said as she jogged ahead.

"Hey get back here! Who is the mystery bitch?!" Y/n called out chasing after her.

Soon things had gone back to normal, they kept their heads down, killed anyone who thought they could get the drop on them, and bonded through it all, but harley was still being hunted so they decided that would be something they could handle.

They were currently at an italian restaurant he had been going to since he was a kid and with many of the goons who worked under his father being frequently present as well, so his and Harley's presence was no issue.

"Alright so, first things first we need to find the opportunity to take out blackmask." Y/n talking to harley who was happily savoring her lasagna.

"Ugh, doesn't that bastard have anything better to do, ive been a good girl." Harley said in irritation really hoping her and y/n could move about more freely.

Y/n shook his head. "Maybe with smaller time gangs that could work but not with this guy, you escaped him so if he lets you go now for any reason both enemies and allies will think he aint all that, meaning less respect and less fear, its the principal of it all." Y/n explained as took a bite of his pesto ravioli.

"Principal, well im going to principal my boot up his ass!" Harley expressed in irritation.

Y/n chuckled, harley was much more confident now then when they first met, and who could blame her, broke things off from a relationship, toxic or not she did have love for him, had no where to go and no means to truly defend herself as dozens were sent to kill her, now she looked like ready to face it all.

"Well when you do, il be right there backing you up." Y/n said playfully tapping her foot with his.

Harley gave him a big smile. "Good or i would have dragged you with me bucko."harley said playfully hitting his leg back.

For moment they remained their eyes locked in stare, like the rest of the world didn't matter.

Unfortunately the world reminded them it did.

The stare was broken when the sound of gunfire from outside the restaurant.

"Whats going on?" Y/n questioned as surrounding guards pulled out their fire arms.

"We're getting attacked,  penguins boys!"  One of the yelled as he eyed the situation out the window. " they may be after harley!."

"Well those bozos can come and get me!" Harley said as she took out her dual pistols with a smile.

Y/n got up as well but was blocked. "What gives frank this is nothing we can't handle." Y/n questioned as frank shook his head.

"The clown is one thing but remember your a secret, the last thing we need is anyone knowing the boss got a kid, especially the damn bat, now cmon i got a car for ya out back." Frank said motioning him out back.

Y/n couldn't argue with that. "Cmon harley." Y/n said motioning her to follow.

"Ughhhh, Retreating sucks!" harley groaned holstering her pistols with a pout.

"Gangs have been getting bold." Y/n said as he followed frank.

"Heh gotham Aint what it used to be kid." Frank chuckled as he opened the back door.

They soon arrived to a black mustang. " theres an Ak with a full either a clip in the backseat." Frank said handing him y/n the keys.

Y/n nodded "Thanks Fran-

Suddenly a bullet wizzed pass harley  who dodged and  grazed y/ns cheek.

"RUDE DICK!" Harley shouted as she unloaded on the attacker, leaving him riddled with bullets.

"Get going you two!" Frank yelled shooting down another who got into view.

"Harley you drive il keep you covered!" Y/n yelled tossing her the keys, knowing harley could make a better getaway in a car than he could.

"You got it!" Harley saluted as she got in the car, and quickly turned it on.

Y/n grabbed the ak from the back and saw more guards closing in, firing and breaking the glass. "Punch it harley!" Y/n yelled as he ducked and cocked the ak.

"This takes me back hahaha!!!" Harley yelled cheerfully as she sped off and other vehicles began to follow.

"Persistent il give them that..." y/n muttered. "So much for a nice day at a restaurant eh harls?" Y/n asked  as he lowered his window.

"Are you kidding?!  Good food followed by a high speed chasing with us being the ones chased?!  What more could a gal as for?!" Harley yelled in excitement with a big smile from ear to ear.

Y/n shook his heart. " mujer loca (crazy woman) " y/n said with a smile as he took aim out the window with his AK and began returning fire,  popping the tires of several cars causing one of them to crash into another.

-Pause-

"That about sums it up." Y/n said.

"Now back to the present!" Harley yelled.

-Resume-

"AHHHHH!!!!" The Pair screamed as their car crashed into the water.

They were soon submerged along with several other vehicles who had followed. Y/n had begun floating and looked over to harley who gave him a thumbs up and reached over to him, he grabbed her hand and the two quickly swam out of the car.

Soon enough they were reaching the surface.

"GAAASP!" Y/n sounded taking a deep breath.

"There there." Harley chuckled patting his back, she could hold her breath for hours so she was fine.

The two quickly swam to the shore under the road away from eyes.

Y/n soon crawler to the sand and laid on the ground taking breaths, his heart feeling like it was gonna pop out his chest, it was preety exhilarating.

Y/n looked to harley who sat beside him, hair drenched giving him a bright smile.

Y/n didn't know why but after everything he could help but start laughing. "Hahahaha!

Harley followed his example. "Hahahaha!"

They just laughed having dealt with such a situation, successfully all things considered.

Y/n sat up as their laughter died down, their eyes locked once again, staring at each other warmly.

"So-" y/n was caught of by harley going for it and locking lips with him, he let his shock go and matched her energy, holding her cheek as their lips danced with each other, the attraction they had felt for each other finally had finally now on full display.

Harley had never felt like this, she thought she had experienced it with mistah j but she was blind, that was just a big lie,  her feelings now, right now, were real.

Harley latched on to his lip  for a bit as they detached, they then stood up.

" lets go home and dry up."y/n said as he brushed some hair strands off her face.

Harley smiled brightly and kissed him once more. "Sure thing, puddin." Harley said warmly as she latched onto his arm.

Y/n smiled, puddin huh, he didn't mind  the sound of that. "I get the feeling things are only going to get crazier from here." Y/n said as they started walking.

Harley nodded. "Yeah but whats life without a little crazy?" She asked with a bright smile.

Boom!

Harley has a new puddin, honestly had a lot more dramatic plans for it but honestly it was to big of a deviation with what is a fun story for me.

Excited to go deeper

Now dont expect me to suddenly have darkseid show up later down the line,  none of that, this is a gotham contained story so theres pleny of people who can make in appearance in the future.

Aslo batman crusader is out so i could definitely get inspired by that, dark harley is hot!
