Chapter 8: Jax
Chapter Eight: Jax
I lie in bed just thinking about all of the possible outcomes.
It's not like anyone will particularly care what I do to them. They all have contracts that they have to obliged to obey.
A small smile finds a way onto my face as I realise it's finally time.
I slip into their room with my hand tightly gripping the hilt of the dagger.
As quietly as I can, I stalk over to the side of their bed.
I stand over her first. I've never really had any issues with my mother except for the fact she was almost always moaning. She always needs someone to get her one thing or another.
"I can't say I'm going to feel bad about doing."
I pause looking over at their somewhat peaceful sleeping faces but end up laughing at their ignorance. They forgot lesson number one; always sleep with one eye open.
"Bye"
My dagger penetrates her heart first. My smile grows as confusion and pain form on her face.
Eventually her face goes blank. The blood doesn't stop pouring out of the wound even though I should, I honestly can say that I don't.
I mean, she may have been my mother but all I see her as is an obstacle in my path to the top.
I then look at her husband, my father, with a blank look. I figure he should see his wife one last time.
"Wake up." I shout directly into his ear. The sooner I finish them off, the sooner I can gain what I've een waiting for for so long.
When he awakens and turns to his wife, he pales. A dark laugh escapes my lips as he realises who did this.
Before he can even reach for a defense weapon, I flick my wrist and watch the dagger embed itself in his heart.
"Out of the both of you, I hated you the most father"
A quick and easy job.
------------
"Jay, I want you to send party invitations to all of our allies." I say to Jay as I clear the office once belonging to my dad.
"What should I say the cause of celebration is?" He asks looking slightly annoyed I woke him up this early in the morning.
"Say we are going to celebrate new leadership."
My father certainly had a lot of useless papers. I mean keeping hold of the information of all of the gang members on paper locked in one of the draws is just a waste of space. We have computers for a reason.
"Sure." He turns to exit but I remember I need to get something done.
"Oh and on you're way in, send in Maia and Cara."
"Okay."
They file in and start in front of me waiting for their instructions.
"I want you to dye Destiny's hair a dark purple, ideally the same colour as my favourite tie." Destiny needs to look perfect and completely coordinate with what I am wearing which is a black suit and dark purple tie.
"Of course Jax." They turn and walk out the door.
I continue to look through files but one in particular sparks my interest.
As I read more a plan gradually begins to form and I have to say this is probably going to be one of the best things that has ever happened to this gang.
I can't believe my luck! No need to work our ass' off stealing money when I can just blackmail the Harwich's for money.
I can't believe I couldn't see the connections between her andthe gang. They must have thought keep in her in the dark about all of this was best, surely didn't end up this way.
I'm broken out of thoughts when I hear several screams and shouts of profanity from what sounds like Destiny's room.
Probably nothing.
-------
This chapter was absolute rubbish but the best I could conjure up in my sick state.
