Yomei looked at the KIA stone with distraught eyes. He scanned through the many names engraved on the rock, stopping once he read three names; Rin Nohara, Obito Uchiha and Minato Namikaze. He still couldn't believe the fact the Obito was still alive and wandering in this world and no one had a clue about it. Yomei briefly wondered if Obito was around this field, watching him as he stared at his name.

Yomei shook his head at that thought, a small smile coming on his face. Ever since he skipped a year two years ago he had this thoughtful aura around him. Yomei briefly pondered on the thought of being a prodigy. Could he count himself as a prodigy or was that just him being arrogant?
Yomei could understand how Kakashi and Itachi felt now. He understood the amount of pressure on them at the time the of war, weighing them down as they went into battle in Konoha's name. That's really all ninja are now, mindless tools used for battle, some as dispatchable as a kunai and some as important as a seal.
Yomei touched Obito's name and left his finger hovering above it. If he entered this game earlier would he have been good friends with him? Would Obito even look his way or would Obito end up as half blind as he is now. Yomei shook his head in amusement at his own antics. Even he couldn't understand what he was saying sometimes.
Yomei felt a lone chakra signal enter his range, the figure slowly coming to a halt beside him. Yomei looked to his left where the person was, not at all shocked at who he saw. Kakashi looked down at the KIA stone, his gaze centring in on three names such as his own gaze had been moments before.
Kaksashi looked at Yomei out of the corner of his eye, pulling out the famed Icha Icha book. Kakashi shook his head as soon as he noticed who it was. He recognised the face as Yomei's, he was used to the Hokage bringing up his name in discussions. Apparently there hasn't been someone someone as prodigious as Yomei since Itachi, and that's exactly why they were keeping wary albeit hopeful eyes trained on him.
Kakashi mused to himself with a small smirk. At least he didn't have any clans to kill. "Here to see someone?" Kakashi drawled out slowly, not bothering with reading the book. By now he already scanned through the page five times, but no matter how many times he read it the information would never sink in.
Yomei looked over at Kakashi who was peering at him from over his book. Yomei slowly turned back to face the KIA stone with a long sigh. "Not really, I don't have a family to begin with. I just came here to see all the hero's names that have been long forgotten. Can you imagine being one of the best shinobi in the world but as soon as you die no one comes to see you? I find it a bit harsh. And since I have no family to speak of I'm doing their job for them."
Kakashi nodded his head slowly. He understands the feeling, nobody comes to visit Rin's or Obito's graves anymore. He started to notice the increase of flowers on their graves but never bothered to look into it. It seems as if he found his culprit confessing to his own deeds red handed. "Maa maa, I wouldn't go around flinging words so carelessly. People get very offended in this village if you say something to them they don't want to hear."
Yomei sent Kakashi a close eyed smile. "Yes Kakashi-san, I already observed that. Don't you think Naruto is proof enough? They don't want to be reminded of their weaknesses, Naruto is just one of them." Kakashi narrowed his eye at Yomei. Although Naruto had a record for being a troublemaker, Kakashi still didn't take light of anyone badmouthing his Sensei's son.
Yomei noticed Kakashi's glare at him and immediately put his hands up in a defensive position, a sheepish smile on his face. "Now don't get me wrong Kakashi-san. I wasn't bashing Naruto I was just stating facts. The villagers would rather not remember something that Naruto obviously stands for. No need to get so offensive."
Kakashi's glare softened a bit after seeing Yomei with sweat dripping down his forehead. He wondered what type of a prodigy he was. All he had was the long words and that depressing aura around him, but other than that he looked as stupid as Naruto. Kakashi never saw someone with hair as long as his in the academy, Neji being an exception. If he thought any better he'd think he looked a tad bit like Madara. Kakashi wondered why Yomei would want such long hair on the battlefield.

"Maa Maa, Kakashi-san. It seems I have to go now. The matron wanted me to get dinner. See you later!" Yomei bounced off leaving Kakashi in confusion. Kakashi not noticing that Yomei knew his name or that he was staring at Obito's name the whole time he was talking to him.

One thing Kakashi didn't notice either was the black swirls of a coat, an orange mask flashing away, it's haunting red eyes staring after Yomei as he went. Yomei looked back at the place of where 'Tobi' was. It seemed as if Kakashi picked the right time to come, any later and he might have been dead. Who knows what the rouge knew about him, Konoha's new Itachi. Yomei really didn't want to know.

"Naruto wait up a second! No one has as much stamina as you do!" Yomei called out breathlessly. Although he had acclaimed a higher level throughout the years and was on a far more superior level then Naruto, he always had more stamina to waste then him. And chakra too! He damned the day he picked Uchiha over Uzumaki.
Yomei had a flashback of cultivating chakra and shivered. It's not a time he wants to go back to. With near perfect chakra control he has no need to practice in chakra control anymore, he is now working on taijutsu and kenjutsu. Apparently no one trusts geniuses with swords anymore, can't blame them after Itachi though.
Naruto turned around and crossed his arms at Yomei. He stuck out his tongue and pointed at Yomei unabashedly. "Stop with all those long words Yomei! If you're going to be my right hand man in the future you better act like it dattabayo!"
Yomei shrunk down the tree trunk slowly. Naruto always had the need to remind him of what he promised. No matter how many times he tried to forget these little things Naruto always seemed to find a way to bring them back up. Especially that time he promised to pay for Naruto's dinner. In all fairness the boy didn't trust him at the time and you know the saying 'ramen is the key to the heart'. Or maybe it's just for Naruto's.
Yomei snorted at Naruto and covered his eyes with his arm, breathing out a slow exhale. It was surprisingly warm in Konoha, Yomei thought that only Suna could radiate such raw heat but he was obviously wrong. If only he picked a colder country like the mist.
Naruto kept blabbing at Yomei as he blanked out, he seemed to be talking about advertising Ichiraku's ramen everywhere when he became Hokage. Yomei noticed a few things in the past few years in Naruto. His game experience was steadily dwindling, quests and skills being limited to a short amount. Ever since he came here at six he was dead set on completing every task and leaving no stone unturned, but it seems as if he has to gain some more achievements to do so. Yomei opened his stats to compare them from when he first came here:

Despite training everyday for the past two years he never seemed to level up that much. From his calculations he was still a low Chunin in the depths of things. He had several reasons for his decline in levelling up. Although he was set to graduate and become a ninja this year along with Neji and Tenten, he never seemed to progress as much as he had when he first came here.
There was several probable reasons for this. It might take a longer time to level up due to his increase in levelling up. Perhaps it was because he never ventured passed the village walls, rendering him to miss several quests. Or maybe it was because of the fact that he was still just an academy student.
His last reason was fairly plausible, which is why he was looking forward to graduating tomorrow, with meeting Kakashi, nearly getting killed by 'Tobi' and spending a whole day with Naruto he was well up for it.
Naruto came into Yomei's view, his eyes closed in that usual manner with smoke steaming from his head. He learned over the years to never underestimate the wrath of anime characters. "Hey Yomei! Were you even listening?!" Yomei yawned at Naruto and got up from his position on the floor, stretching out his muscles to make sure they didn't cramp when he was down.
"Nope" Yomei resounded with a pop on the 'p'. Naruto let out a loud yell and punched Yomei on the arm. "How am I supposed to be the Hokage with such a stupid right hand man? If you can't even listen to me then I have no chance." He muttered heatedly under his breath with a small scowl.
Yomei saw this and sighed. Naruto has the temper of a dog sometimes- setting off at the movement of any creature or wisp of grass. Sometimes Yomei wondered how his ears are still intact. Yomei slung his arm around Naruto and gave him an apologetic smile. "Sorry Naruto, I was just thinking about life y'know? It's such a wonderful thing isn't it? Can you even imagine what would happen if the world turned to dust and you were the only human left alive? Tragic."
Naruto sweat dropped at Yomei, his tantrum finally disappearing. "That's kinda depressing" Naruto murmured, staring up at the Hokage mountains with Yomei. Yomei glanced at Naruto out of the corner of his eye, smiling when he saw Naruto's heated stare at the fourth hokage.
Yomei nudged Naruto in the side and quickly retorted. "Hey Naruto, you kind of look like the fourth hokage yknow?" Naruto scowled and immediately shoved Yomei away from him. "As if! How could someone like me be related to someone like him..." He trailed off at the end, turning his back on Yomei at an attempt to hide his tears.
Yomei closed his eyes in regret and irritation. It was his fault for bringing up Naruto's idol but he couldn't help it. Naruto was supposed to be treated with respect, being related to a Kage is a big thing literally everywhere. It's kind of depressing that nobody knew Naruto was the son of their beloved hero, that Naruto sacrificed his future for theirs. It was truly heartbreaking that not even the Hokage bothered to ask Naruto how he was treated by the villagers.
Even he himself sometimes gets dirty looks from villagers, he an orphan being a prodigy? A parentless child dumped in the orphanage was better than the niece and nephew that had parentage? It was obviously nonsense. Not much people of Konoha cared for their orphans much, that was granted.
Yomei shook his head and jogged up to Naruto, tapping his shoulder and running ahead of him, saying something he knew he would forget in the future. "Come on Naruto! Last one to Ichiraku's has to pay for dinner for a month!"
