Lucy smiled as she put on her Yukata.
It was red decorated with yellow flowers.
She looked absolutely beautiful.

"Ready to g-" Cana stopped as she spotted the blond.
"Wow."
Lucy giggled.
"What do you think?"
Cana stared at her blankly.
"No words. Just. Wow."

The girl giggled repeatedly.
"Come on let's go."
Lucy grabbed the brunettes hand and dragged her out of the room.

The festival was beautiful.
Lanterns and pretty ribbons decorated the booths some different students had put up.

Of course as the control freak Erza was, she had to go around the booths to check them off before everything started.
As she did that she was followed by her trusty assistant-boyfriend.

Together they walked around and checked the booths off of their lists.
A lot of different students had made some and amongst them were a few familiar faces.

Mira and Happy.
Jet.
Sting and Rogue.
Yukino and her sister.
Max and his broom.
Charle.
And Natsu accompanied by someone strange.

Erza shrugged and checked off the last booth.

She looked back at her boyfriend.

"Today's going to be absolutely wonderful."

It got dark and everyone was walking around and serving.

"Oh look Cana, there's Mira and Laxus!"
Lucy waved at the two and dragged her date behind her.

"Oh hi!" Mira smiled with surprise. She frowned when she realized who was walking with Lucy.

"Cana," the brunette looked up. "Come with me."

For some reason Lucy was scared of what would happen to her date. She tried to go after them, but Laxus held her back.

"Don't."
He had a deadly look on his face and Lucy gulped.
She stood back up and waited.

"Cana what the hell do you think you're doing?"
"I dunno."
"Hold on."

Mira sniffed.

"Are you sober?"
"Yeah, so what."
Miras eyes widened.

"You must really like her."
"Like i said, I don't know."
Mira crossed her arms.

"But i do, and i know that is isn't going to work out."
"Why not?"
"Because," Mira sighed. "She wants Natsu."
"How do you know?"
"I know. Trust me."

Cana looked down.

"I just don't want you to get hurt, okay."
"Yeah."

Cana smiled.

"So where's Pinky anyway?"
"He's occupying some booth with my sister."

Cana smirked.

"I have and idea, but i will need your help."

"So," Cana smiled and took Lucys hand. "Time for me to take you somewhere."

Lucy blushed as she realized this was getting more serious.

Cana pulled her to a stand where a boy was doing tricks with fire.
It looked like magic.

She squealed as the boy took the torch and swallowed the flames.
He grinned at her and she realized that it was him.

"Natsu." She breathed.

Suddenly he looked the other way as a white haired girl with a blue yukata smiled.
"Do the trick, Natsu!"

Natsu nodded.

"Fire dragon ROAR!"
He blared as flames shot out of his mouth.

Immediately Lucy was engulfed in the warmth of the different colours merged with the fire, but only for a short moment until the flamed deteriorated in mid air. 

The other students clapped and Natsu bowed.

He walked over to Lucy.
"How'd you like the show?"
"I was only there for the roar part. Are you ok?"

He laughed.

"Of course I'm alright. I'm a dragon after all."

Lucy sweat dropped.
Natsu laughed again.

"My family's name was Dragneel, so people have just been calling me a dragon."

"Oi Salamander!"
Natsu sighed.
"Except that guy, he likes to downgrade everything and everyone."

"Hey Flamebrain."

"And that guy too."

Natsu turned around.
"What do you morons want?"

The two guys laughed.
"We're just checkin' up on our mate, that's all"
Gajeel grinned.

"I see you have a date. I wouldn't have expected her to be it, though."
Gray grinned.

Lucy put up her hands.
"I'm not-"
"Actually I'm here with Lisanna."

"WHAT?" The guys were confused and so where their dates.

"Why Lisanna?" Juvia asked blankly.

Natsu shrugged.

"Hello everyone."
Lisanna smiled and held on to Natsus arm, pushing the blond out of the way.

Everyone stared at her with wide eyes.

"What?"

"We're just trying to figure out why you're the one here with Natsu and not Lucy." Juvia explained.

"Speaking of which where'd she go?"

Lucy had disappeared.

"Lisanna," Laxus grabbed his girlfriends sister. "Come with me."

Natsu was just about to protest when the blond glared back at him.

"We'd better go find Lucy."
Cana suggested and grabbed the pink haired boy and dragged him the other way.

He dragged him to the school building where Erza was standing with a smirk.

"Here you go!" She chuckled and gave Cana a pair of keys. "Good luck!"
"Thanks."
Cana grunted as she pushed Natsu inside.

"Luck with what?"
"Nothing."
"Where are we going?"
"Lucy."
"Why is she in school building?"
"Because you're here."
"How do y-"
"Could you just shut up."
Cana growled in exhaustion.

She had pulled him up two staircases onto the second floor.

"I hope this doesn't take long, I really want some food. I'm hungry."

"You're always hungry, Natsu."  A sweet voice answered.

Cana jumped up.
"Damnit Mira don't scare me like that."
"Sorry." She girl smiled and pulled the blonde behind herself.

"We'd better hurry."

Cana fiddled with he keys trying to find the right one.
She opened the door and without another word, the two girls shoved them into room.

The two heard a locking sound and stared at each other.

"Are we locked in?" Lucy asked.
"I think so."
"I don't think they're going to let us out any time soon."
Lucy looked out the window and onto the festival.

"I could always kick down the door, but I'm sure that if I do so Erza won't hesitate to kill me."
"Yeah, i think we should just wait." 

"Good idea."

BOOM! I did it! Sooo next chapter will be all cute and fluffy! I hope you can all endure that long ^^
